The room, car park and dining were all easily accessible and good. The bathroom was a bit irritating - shower curtain that flaps onto one when showering, basin too small. But there was hot water and good towels. The whole hotel was very quiet, we wondered why it was so empty? Unfortunately the pool was inaccessible, something about not having a permit to open it.

Coffee and tea cups provided in the room were too tiny. No milk in room. Restaurant was closed due to public holiday, but we wernt informed about this in advance. No pool towels offered. Pool area was nice. Gym was filthy. Beds were fantastic!

This hotel is showing its age. Buildings (which look like they were built in the 1980s) are very worn and outdated. Bedroom fittings, fixtures and furnishings are outdated and tatty. TV only shows broadcast channels, no Netflix or Prime apps available. The bedrooms are large though. Outdoor areas such as pool and various decks are closed for repairs. At this point due to its condition, this hotel should be priced at the budget end of the scale.

I travel to Perth regularly but have never considered this hotel. I will never go back now. No water provided for $250/night. Bathroom was filthy. I've never seen such a dirty toilet for a 4 star hotel. The gym is a shocker! Just a closet with old equipments from Kmart.

Easy check in, room nice a big. Room looked ok at first sight, but then saw the walls were pretty dirty….coffee splashes (spilt coffee), not just one splash, was pretty obvious. The bathroom was reasonably clean however they could do with getting rid of the calcium build up on the shower tap.

Room had cobwebs , coffee table covered with marks from previous guests classes hadn't been cleaned. Wine glasses in room were filthy with lipstick marks on them. No complementary water in the fridge.

it was nice but wasn’t anything majorly special, room service was quite slow & getting ahold of both the hotel, room service & reception was a little hard as no one would pick up the phones. the bathroom was very nice & the hotel was clean but overall it was pretty average. the tv had no movie selections & it was pretty much just TV so not really any entertainment inside of the room.

I was very disappointed with our stay - booked a Superior Double Room with view (which was lovely over the Swan River) however this should have had a King-sized bed however what is has is two double beds pushed together with a gap in the mattress between, the bottom sheet does not reach the edges properly so doesn't tuck in meaning that when you move it bungles up under you. In addition, the base under the bed ended ~ a foot from the edge meaning that when you rolled near the edge or sat on the edge there was no support under the mattress, and it sagged away under you. The pillows were very thin, and there was no additional blanket to go over the thin doona. I rang the restaurant multiple times to try and order dinner, with no answer so walked down to order, when I arrived the service was terrible, the pear cider was well past the 'best before' date and was give the response 'it's not an expiry so it's up to you'. A room alarm near us was sounding but there was no answer from reception, despite advertising as 24 hr - I would have discussed this on check out, but there was no one at the desk. A nice job has been done upgrading the facilities, but the venue is significantly let down by the staff.

Not an enjoyable stay as the check in experience was poor due to the key/fob not opening the room, very poor communication from the reception staff member. Internal room was clean and neat, however noise is an issue with neighbouring doors opening and closing early hours of the morning, also refrigerator and A/C had loud audible running noise.

La chambre était grande mais plusieurs ampoules étaient brulées. Il y avait des stores intégrés aux portes patio mais aucun moyen (commande murale ou télécommande) pour les contrôler. J’avais pris une chambre avec vue sur la rivière, j’avais plutôt une chambre avec vue sur un parking derrière lequel il y avait une rivière. Je n’ai jamais vu un hôtel où on menace de nous charger des frais en cas d’article manquant ou endommagé… sous mon balcon, il y avait un nid de coquerelles, ça grouillait sur le balcon (ou plutôt la terrasse extérieure) dès que le soleil était couché…

Everything lovely except for the room layout- room had no windows. Technically it had one but had a brick wall about 60cm away from it the length of the room. Was a real bummer abd claustrophobic. Otherwise wouldve been fantastic.

I work FIFO and as I had an earlier flight than usual, I wanted an overnight stay close to the airport. There are cheaper options in the area, but I selected the Swan River Hotel as I believe you get what you pay for: I wanted something quiet, comfortable and pleasant. Swan River Hotel delivered on all of these: and the helpful staff even moved me to a quieter part of the hotel with fewer guests. I enjoyed my stay and will probably return.

Service was terrible from arrival to check out. Booked room for 3 to include a roll away bed, bed was not in room for arrival. Went to reception to ask again for bed and a hour off back and forward I finally received the bed at the room. On arrival to hotel later realised bed was delivered without a blanket so slept cold all night. Price does not match quality at all. Would not recommend.

Nice rooms, in very convenient and quiet location but still very close to many shopping, dining and entertainment options. Close to Perth CBD, airport and casino. Plenty of secure parking spots for residents which is rare and very handy. Hotel has good facilities and very good management. I will be staying here again in future

Comfortable and clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. Chose it because it had a restaurant, onsite parking and proximity to major highways. Unfortunately let down by the restaurant and kitchen. Very long wait for meals, despite restaurant only being 1/3 capacity. Robot waiter, although cute, took meals to incorrect table and there was a delay for the human server to arrive and serve the meals. 3 out of 4 of our meals arrived at the table barely warm and had to be sent back. ‘Medium rare’ steak requested-served ‘well done’ and appeared to be a cheaper cut than described on the menu. At breakfast the next morning, ordered avocado on toast , avocado was underripe and very discoloured, as was also, the requested replacement. Did not eat in the restaurant again during our 3 day stay. Also, the phones in our rooms were difficult to use, and did not go through to Reception when dialled.

The property has seen better days. It has potential to be brought up to a higher standard as the location by the river is lovely and the staff are helpful and friendly. But the property needs updating and refinement. The rooms are basically equipped and the surrounds are stark and need modernisation. The food is pretty ordinary and the dining room needs more staff.

Overnight stay before long haul flight. Restaurant a bit limited. Arrived late and wanted a snack but only full meals available. Breakfast very expensive. Didn't seem very organised. Fruit juice had run out, no bowls etc. Lots of steps to get to ground floor accommodation - extremely difficult to maneuver with suitcases. However, receptionist was very helpful, booking a taxi and looking after luggage after check out
