Quality Inn Quincy - Tallahassee West

The inn is under construction. It is having its roof repaired. Debris all over the place. Nails and broken pieces of wood, tar paper right in front of your room. How are they able to still operate. It should be illegal to operate in such disrepair. Power went out in my room and they were unable to fix. Offered to move me to another room. When I tried to ask for a refund they said no because I used expedia to book my room. I called expedia and they won't help with refund. Expedia should be up to date on this issue of hotel conditions. The hotel should not be allowed to operate. I was not injured but I wonder if I should consult an attorney about this matter.

The pool isn't habitable it's gray and dirty

Room had couple areas that should have been cleaned better. Toilet had occasional leak/puddling. Older hotel, could use a face lift. We're putting on new roof which impaired access to room and noise after 8 AM. Breakfast was basic.

The staff was rude upon check in, There was only one other couple and the phone was ringing and the clerk was totally overwhelmed. The bathroom was in need of a serious upgrade. Ice Machine down stairs was out of service and apparently had been front desk didn’t even apologize. Would never stay there again.

Very nice hotel, room clean and well equipped. Only issue was that there were roof repairs going on and to be awakened by banging and loud noises on Sunday morning was not cool! Everything else went well.

No elevator; hard to find room/see room numbers at night especially if on the second floor. Bathroom tub looked dirty, finish was peeled away/chipped off. Complimentary shampoo bottle been used & not replaced. Overall the room was just unappealing, outdated & old looking. Would not stay there again or recommend.

Deadbolt didn't work. Pool was empty and unusable.

I stayed for one night here, my overall experience was fine. The room was clean and pretty big for the price I paid. I like that this property offers complimentary breakfast daily also. The staff were nice and courteous. The only downside is that this facility does not have a fitness center despite its website stating that it does. There’s is not much going on in the surrounding areas, no shopping centers etc. However I would stay here again

Staff was friendly and helpful. Ice machine on ground floor was broken and trash can by ice machine was overflowing.

Too expensive for the quality of the room, the price was increased due to limited hotel availability due to an event that weekend. Dirty walls, dirty tub, carpet smelled horrible. Drip buckets and pans under the a/c to catch leaks.

Old fashioned motel with sticky floors, sticky remote control, loud AC, loose front door lock, and the coup de gras a broken flush on the toilet. The old yucky sheets were also not great. Didn’t really care about the scrapes on the floor or uneven patched up bathroom fixtures. Spending about 140 for the night I expect more. Never will I stay at nonQuality Inn again.

This hotel room was so bad my wife refused to sleep there!! Had to leave and find another hotel.. Bed comforter was stained and mold or curtains. Room had a strange smell awful. Very disappointed, thought for $360.00 dollar should've been nice. Total waste of money

Room was super smelly like cigarettes and mold mixed. A/c sounded like it was falling apart. Patches all over the walls carpet extremely dirty. Nothing like the pictures. Horrible over all experience

Dont stay here if you can help ot. We had to move rooms because outlr first room stunk like mildew, had hair and dirt in shiwer and dirt on floor. Very run down, paint chips, horrible

I had to be moved to 3 rooms first room was very stink from the amount of bug spray that was used. He told me they probably used to much air freshener. I said no that was bug spray. The toilet wouldn't flush as wrll. The second room smell was not bad but not to fresh either and then upon turning the light on in the bathroom there was a roach crawling around. The 3rd room was ok but a few dirty spots on the catpet and they bedspreads had dirty spots so we had them change those out. I was very uncomfortable znd i will never dtay thete again. The room was non-refundable so i was pissed. If not i would've left after the first room.

My initial thought when I walked into the room was that it was very dated, but it was somewhat dark and difficult to determine the cleanliness. The bathroom was awful. The shower was filthy and the shower head was somewhat clogged and had low pressure. There was hair on the tub floor and a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door. The hairdryer did not work either. I highly recommend finding a different hotel.

It was so nasty I had to go buy bleach and clean everything. Then as I was cleaning I pulled out the little table beside bed and there was hundreds of little roaches everywhere

Price was reasonable. Beds were comfortable. Very simple. Worked for a one night stay.

The AC was terribly noisy and the was motorcycle noise late at night. Overall the room, while redecorated showed signs of being old, rust on grab bars and bathroom lights. The bed was comfortable.

This was my second room. Mattress was worn with deep divets from use. The shower curtain rod was bent downward which caused the curtain to open in the front when it got wet. The curtains did not close properly, had to use a clip hanger to close them. There were holes in the curtains. The finish in the bath tub was chipping off, unknownhow they cleaned it. The bathroom counter top was dirty and sticky. The road noise was terrible. The staff was friendly and changed my room once due to a terrible smell from the air conditioner in the first room.

Manager Lindy provided a very bad customer experience.

When I went to check in they had the lobby locked. Which isn’t a big deal if they efficiently get you in a room. When I arrived I was told “your card was declined” which made no sense since I booked through Expedia and had already been charged. I explained this and got a shoulder shrug. I asked her to look into it further and she said “yea. Expedia’s card was declined” to which I responded that she needed to contact them and get it resolved. I went outside (not that the plexiglass room was climate controlled) and froze while exhausted waiting for a resolution. She had another customer whom I walked in behind about a half hour later whom made a reservation at a cheaper rate than they were willing to offer through Expedia while standing there and immediately was checked in. I asked if she had spoken with Expedia yet and she responded “oh I haven’t tried calling yet.” 😐 I expressed my frustration and desperation to sleep and get warm. She didn’t seem concerned and I had to call Expedia myself (which isn’t a quick process) to get it resolved. There was no apology, desire to compensate, apathy or regard for her employment duties whatsoever. But you can believe that I was shooed out ten minutes before check out the next morning! After two and half hours of waiting to check in without even so much as offering me the opportunity to sit in the warm lobby in a friggin chair??? And watching a dozen other people check in in the meantime.

When I got to the front desk no welcome or hi was said to me. They seemed not to want customers there. The room needs a makeover too. And the room had a strange smell. Will not be coming back ever.

I was not allowed to stay at hotel as their Internet was down and wanted me to stay I my car for a couple of hours to if it would come back on line. We informed the lady at the desk that we had a handicap person in the car and could not sit in the car. I asked her For the manager she told me their was no manager on duty till 5am. I asked her for the corporate number and she said she did not have it and would not give me the number. She said she would cancel our reservation at no cost to us..

Very friendly staff especially the lady that takes care of the breakfast area. Very good service and very friendly.

Front desk was understaffed. Air conditioner in first room didn’t work right. They reluctantly moved us to another room. The second room had a strong musty cigarette smell.

Very nice staff and clean. The continental breakfast was always filled and fresh. Older, dated rooms, but comfortable and relaxing.

Staff were pleasant. Room needed updating. Holes in walls. Doors didn’t close properly. Breakfast was minimal but free. Very bright outdoor lights though while they made me feel safe, also seemed to indicate there were security issues. Looked like prison lights. The bed linen seemed very clean and tucked well

The toilet in our room was loose, not connected to floor, I had to ask for more pillows 3 very small pillows provided. Breakfast biscuits were hard and gravy almost burnt. Very skimpy breakfast. Desk clerk didn’t speak English very well. We won’t stay there again
