We went to the alliant center for the garden show. We were shuttled back and forth for the two day event and bonus we were shuttled to a restaurant for dinner as long as it was within 3 miles. Absolutely wonderful

Staff professional, accommodating, knowledgeable about the area. They included perks of evenings snacks, free breakfast that was pretty good, and decent coffee. Shuttle van takes you to airport. B-bikes nearby. Excellent gym.

The outdoor amenities, fire pit and chairs, were a nice touch. The property was well maintained and accommodating. There was a bike trail right out the door and a nearby park. Just lovely.

Very clean, nice hotel. Breakfast was very good. No Bacon though:( Pool is nice. No whirlpool. There are jets in the pool that you can turn on. Water is kept at 82 degrees I was told. I would stay here again. My only complaint is that I booked a handicapped room that was supposed to have a walk in shower and that is not what I got. It was handicapped, with the bars, but in order to get in the shower my mother in law had to step over the tub sides which is not easy for her.

What a great stay! We had a little relaxing mom's night! convienctly located with a quick drive to get down town without the price to park overnight. Salt water pool was a surprise. The breakfast was very nice, surprised at how many ppl were getting breakfast at the same time. Lobby was big, comfortable, and fit all the guest who were enjoying breakfast. Would happily stay here again for our next night out.

This is the cleanest, friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was quiet. The staff were all extremely kind. Even the main areas like hallways, elevators, & dining room/lounge were spotless! Not even a fingerprint! The staff at this HIE should be extremely proud of their work! This should be the model for other hotel managers & staff to visit to see how things should be done! I appreciated all of the breakfast choices, the grab & go breakfast option, the beer/wine/pop & snacks at happy hour. This is hospitality at its best!

The hotel was nice, great service, and great breakfast. We got the room with the two queens and the sofa bed suite to sleep 6. It was very spacious, however the only con was the sofa bed was a twin pull out size not a full or queen. It was also terribly uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable. So to sleep six, I would have brought a big air mattress rather than use the sofa bed

The room was super spacious and clean! The front desk staff was fantastic and the location was great. The fitness center had a peloton amongst other equipment, which was a nice surprise! The kids loved the pool and they reported that the continental breakfast was excellent :)

Our recent stay at this hotel was a great experience all around. We found the location to be convenient and quiet and the decor fresh and inviting. The staff, Roz and Sam, were friendly and efficient during check-in. My husband and I were tired from a long day’s drive, and Roz’s warm smile and enthusiasm made us feel welcome and put some pep back in my step. We asked about where to get dinner, and Sam provided us with some pamphlets and coupons, and both he and Roz gave us some great recommendations. The room was clean and inviting. About 30 minutes or so into our stay, Roz texted to see if we needed anything, which was a very nice touch. My only disappointment was the breakfast. We stayed at a different Holiday Inn in Madison (farther away from downtown) when we first arrived in town the week before, and the breakfast had fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, and pastries. The breakfast here was adequate but the omelettes were obviously not freshly cooked and the sausage was stiff and had little flavor. I expected better given our recent experience. Despite the one and only disappointment, however, I can honestly say that given our overall experience with the staff and hotel amenities, we would highly recommend staying here.

Staff was excellent for our entire stay. Offered help with a shuttle to our event and dining options. Shuttle driver was friendly, efficient and fun. Checkin and checkout was efficient and helpful. The room was excellent and the outdoor areas were so pleasant. I know when we come back to Madison the next time, we will certainly be staying here again.

We stayed here four nights for my daughter’s graduation. In the mornings, I was able to hike and birdwatch in the neighboring park. The hotel was clean with exceptionally nice and helpful staff. Breakfast options were great. They even provided a free shuttle to Camp Randall, which was so helpful! You will need a rental to get around Madison otherwise, as this location is a 9-10 min drive (traffic included) to downtown Madison. Would totally recommend this place to anyone staying for college visit, graduation, or anything else in Madison.

One night only, but everything was fine. Breakfast, however wasn’t up to safety standards. Gravy was room temperature. No biscuits for the gravy. Bacon and sausage were a lot below 140 degrees. Coffee was tepid.

The Holiday Inn Express Madison Central has brought back customer service. From the minute you check in, you feel the difference. Angelleigh and staff were fantastic. They actually enjoy their job which makes for a great start. We felt very welcome and appreciated. The lobby was so inviting, the room was very clean and beds so comfortable. Breakfast is great with several cold and hot options. Coffee 24/7 and cookies in the afternoon. Mon. thru Wed. 5pm to 7pm there is a Manager's Reception with complimentary soda, beer, wine and light snacks. Aldamer was very accommodating explaining all the amenities. On site parking very convenient.
