Diamonds Old West was amazing. Hands down best place to stay in the area. It is also very kid friendly. There are great activities for the kids to do, from the playground, to the track cars, and many others. The lady (assuming owner) was so friendly and hospitable. After the "general store" (office) closed she came back later that evening to light the fireplace in the teepee so my son could toast marshmallows and make s'mores. We will definitely be returning!

This is a great option, especially if you have kids. Each cabin has a different theme. Lots to do on the property. Would be even better if they had a pool!

The listing does not do this place justice. If you have children under 12, BOOK IT. There are a ton of children's activities and it was a hit with our kids. Basketball, volleyball, pedal cars, rope gym, playground, mud kitchen, rubber duck races, corn pit, jumping area. They have a bubble/foam party each day and light a fire in the teepee so you can cook hot dogs, smores, etc(bring your own supplies). The general store has a ton of cute things in it as well as needed items such as ice. Each room has a picnic table and fire pit/grill. It is a dry county so bring your own alcohol. The rooms are clean and cute. The little town set up is neat as well. They've really put some thought into this place. There were only a few things that could be improved. We checked in late and didn't receive a call or email telling us where the key was so that took a bit to figure out. The pedestal sink provides nowhere to sit anything including tooth brushes so that was frustrating. More of the folding tray tables in the room would have been great. RV spaces on the property would have made this a perfect spot for our extended family to come with us. We had an amazing time and will be back.

Great facilities for families! My 11 yo son loved the old west theme and kid friendly activities. Peddle cars, jump pad, corn crib, archery, & duck races were a few of his favorites. All equipment (bow and arrow, badminton, basketball) that we needed could be checked out from the front desk. Even had nightly s’mores in the tee pee. Very close to the Crater of Diamonds. Would recommend and stay again.

This place was amazing! I would definitely stay there again. The kids didn’t want to leave. The foam party was amazing and the teepee with the campfire was just perfect for hotdogs and s’mores and the whole shebang.

This place is awesome. My kids loved the playground and archery. Beds were comfortable and the cabin had a nice rustic feel. Would recommend for anyone that is traveling with kids.

I enjoyed the old west theme of the facility. The amenities for kids were plentiful but unfortunately 80% of them closed at 5:00 pm when the staff went home. Based on the price I paid I expected more than one tiny bar of soap. If you go bring toiletries!

Cute spot if you feel like camping and don’t want to set up a tent. Woman at reception was nice enough. The unit itself was cute enough however smelled strongly of mold and mildew. This smell went away if you turned the AC really cold. Both nights we were there had bad storms roll through in the night so we were lucky enough to wake up with no power both mornings. Which of course caused it to be hot and mildew smelling again.

Property was cute like an old Western movie. Rooms were nice and clean. The only drawback was the cabin had a musty smell. We did enjoy the little park on-site. My grandson had lots of fun with the foam party and we finished the night with making smores in the teepee. I would recommend this place for anyone with young kids.

Very friendly staff. Fantastic rooms that are very clean. The play area for the kids is amazing. There are so many things for them to do that are included that you would normally have to pay for. Highly recommended staying here, I know we will do it again.

This property is set up like an Old West Town. It is located a bit out of town but only like 5 minutes. There was archery, a Corn Pit (think ball pit), a bouncey pad, and a ship-shaped play structure. The room was extremely clean. There is a front porch to sit out in the evenings or early mornings. There is a campfire made in the teepee nightly. We roasted marshmallows. The little gift shop on property had everything you might need. Bring you own shampoo and bath gel. Our room had an ac unit, hairdryer, microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker table and chairs and a sofa. There was wifi on property but it didnt work well in the room, but worked great on the front porch. The pillows were a little worn but i just doubled them. It is a quirky place but very clean. If you want basic hotel there are lots of other locations. But we chose this one and were pleasantly surprised.

They don’t offer shampoo or toiletries, we had to go purchase our own at a local store. The don’t offer cribs nor pack and plays for little ones. They expect you to wash all dishes and put them away and take all the trash out, if you don’t the charge you extra. No WiFi either.

Sister's !trip--what fun, we all were 12 again (all over 60) kinda glad there weren't many kids there as we had run of the play area...Ladies at the general store were very helpful. We would highly recommend as a place very friendly and fun for kids. Thank you

The property was very nice. Room was very clean. Easy to park. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. If there was one, not really a negative, I didn’t like was that the room lighting was dim. Otherwise it was an excellent place to stay.

If you ever get a chance to stay here, you should. Such a fun place! I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the property. The staff were super helpful. We arrived late and we’re called to let us know how to check in. If you have children this is definitely where you should stay!! Heck, even if you don’t, it’s a fun place. Rooms are decorated with a western theme and very clean. We will stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Check in was super easy and front desk was super informative. Very fun place if you have kids of all ages. WiFi doesn’t really work but I can overlook that, kinda nice to disconnect.

Not very welcoming. Did not stay. Happily took a loss on the nonrefundable rate. Had to sign a list of rules and the subsequent penalties one would suffer if the rules were broken. Did not receive the room I was under the impression I had reserved- but wait- that was my fault. Poor customer service. Won’t be back and cannot recommend.

Staff lady was very friendly and attentive. Will book directly through them next time. I booked thru another site and they had put us in the upstairs room. We did not realize that until we arrived there. Would prefer not to climb the stairs as we are older and the suitcase was difficult to get up those stairs. Stated this for other travelers to see, no fault of Diamonds Old West!

Very friendly staff. Fantastic rooms that are very clean. The play area for the kids is amazing. There are so many things for them to do that are included that you would normally have to pay for. Highly recommended staying here, I know we will do it again.

We stayed here because a family emergency brought us to town and the other choices on hotels.com appeared substandard. It's a unique Old West themed place which probably would be fun if this had been a vacation rather than just a place to rest. If you're going to the diamond mine or the lake or river it's probably a good bet. Not walking distance from the town center, though.

We stayed in the saloon, it was just my husband and I. It wasn’t far out of town. It would be great to take the grandkids, lots of fun things to play on outside. It was off season so it was very quiet. Beth checked in on us while we were there in the afternoon. We would stay there again if we decide to hunt for diamonds again.

Easy to find, fun buildings, clean, quiet, comfortable beds. Awesome playground and sports areas for kids. Would be great for family reunions. Close to the Arkansas diamond field and an hour from Hot Springs. The owners are so nice. Recommend for anyone who likes to have fun.

This property is set up like an Old West Town. It is located a bit out of town but only like 5 minutes. There was archery, a Corn Pit (think ball pit), a bouncey pad, and a ship-shaped play structure. The room was extremely clean. There is a front porch to sit out in the evenings or early mornings. There is a campfire made in the teepee nightly. We roasted marshmallows. The little gift shop on property had everything you might need. Bring you own shampoo and bath gel. Our room had an ac unit, hairdryer, microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker table and chairs and a sofa. There was wifi on property but it didnt work well in the room, but worked great on the front porch. The pillows were a little worn but i just doubled them. It is a quirky place but very clean. If you want basic hotel there are lots of other locations. But we chose this one and were pleasantly surprised.

Diamonds Old West was amazing. Hands down best place to stay in the area. It is also very kid friendly. There are great activities for the kids to do, from the playground, to the track cars, and many others. The lady (assuming owner) was so friendly and hospitable. After the "general store" (office) closed she came back later that evening to light the fireplace in the teepee so my son could toast marshmallows and make s'mores. We will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay at Diamonds Old West! Our cabin was great and clean. The kids loved all of the activities on site for them. There are fire pits behind each cabin so bring what you’ll need for s’mores with you including the roasting sticks. They sell firewood on site but you can also bring your own. Mining and restaurants are close. Great place to spend some time with family!

The listing does not do this place justice. If you have children under 12, BOOK IT. There are a ton of children's activities and it was a hit with our kids. Basketball, volleyball, pedal cars, rope gym, playground, mud kitchen, rubber duck races, corn pit, jumping area. They have a bubble/foam party each day and light a fire in the teepee so you can cook hot dogs, smores, etc(bring your own supplies). The general store has a ton of cute things in it as well as needed items such as ice. Each room has a picnic table and fire pit/grill. It is a dry county so bring your own alcohol. The rooms are clean and cute. The little town set up is neat as well. They've really put some thought into this place. There were only a few things that could be improved. We checked in late and didn't receive a call or email telling us where the key was so that took a bit to figure out. The pedestal sink provides nowhere to sit anything including tooth brushes so that was frustrating. More of the folding tray tables in the room would have been great. RV spaces on the property would have made this a perfect spot for our extended family to come with us. We had an amazing time and will be back.

My son and I visited for only two nights & we both wish it was longer. This place is a real "gem". ;) The grounds & rooms are clean & beautiful. The staff are all kind & friendly. They have so many fun little touches everywhere...5pm foam party, 6pm campfire (s'mores), corn pit, rubber duck racing, archery... I really can't say enough good things about them. We will definitely be back.

This place was amazing! I would definitely stay there again. The kids didn’t want to leave. The foam party was amazing and the teepee with the campfire was just perfect for hotdogs and s’mores and the whole shebang.

This is a must do!! So much for kids to do when chilling at the hotel. We loved it. The room was great- new - clean - we had the kitchen unit - it was well supplied. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

This is a fun place for kids to stay. They have a great playground with slides and swings, several activities, and at 5:00 each day a foam party. The kids LOVED that. The room was in good condition and clean; we stayed in the sheriff room. Be prepared to hear the people below if they have heavy steps, as I’m sure they could hear our 6yr old. The office/store has lots of beverages and some other items in case you forgot something.
