Great weekend getaway. The free mini golf the kids loved. If we were to stay a few days we would definitely rented a golf cart as it would have been easier to get to and from the beach. Seeing we rented the Wyndham crew attempted us to get us to sit for a 90 min preso to try to book our own timeshare. But once we finished he provided us his cell and told us to reach out if we had any issues.

The end of the island rental units appear to have tandem parking as no instructions were provided to the guests as parking IS actually on a first come first serve under basis in any unit number with no blocking as no way out of unit parking spots other than backing up. Creates issues if you are blocking a car or someone else is blocking you in. Also rented chairs and umbrella and had to call to ask as could not locate chairs and umbrella was told by staff after the fact that the chairs and umbrella couldn’t be placed on beach in front of unit at beach marker 37 because they are too heavy and guests will need to get into their own personal vehicle and drive to beach marker 20 in order to use the chairs and umbrella which guests had paid for when unit has beach access already….again poor communication by the staff to the guests.

From our place at Sea Palms to the pool was a short walk. Pool and groud were clean. Nice security guards at the entrance. Most every kitchen utensil you would need was available. Bathrooms had liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner available. Plenty of clean towels, separate towels for the pool. Assortment of pillows for the beds. Everything was clean.

I would have loved to give this room all high scores. The room was outstanding, the staff was friendly. I asked for a handicap accessible room and it was. The elevator did not work and we were given a third floor room. My 69 year old sister cried because she had to climb the stairs. She would not leave the room until it was time to leave. Because of the proximity to the beach I would skip this island altogether if mobility is an issue.

When we arrived to check in power went out and we had to wait on maintenance to let us in the room and then were told by maintenance that if we went out we had to be back by 10pm in order to get back in if the power was still out. We left for dinner and because it was getting hot in the unit. The power came back in while we were out and they had come to the room to deliver the keys. There is a dip in the floor in the kitchen that needs to be looked at also. The ice maker ran all night and we had 5 ice cubes the next morning. Also we ended up parking on the side of the building there was a car parking in what looked like our spot of 668B and 1 was in 689 . Thank you staff was friendly overall.

Overall the property was “OK”, just. Third floor apartment with no elevator meant we left our luggage in the car and took items up and down the two flights of stairs as we needed them. Two units per floor implies 4 cars minimum yet there was undercover parking for two families only. Off site pool users used the parking at times. Don’t go when busy. If the other apartment user is slightly deaf or has a hacking cough, then expect a lot of noise through the “party door” between the apartments. The TV can be VERY LOUD. WiFi disappears after 10pm and before 8am. It is not password protected despite what it say in the booklet and is therefor unsecure. Be warned, you are continuously harassed by Whyndam sales staff to come to presentations. Even though you have bought the stay, full price, not won it in a lottery, you are still treated as timeshare bait. Apart from that, the place was spacious, clean and well equipped.

Excellent amenities, very clean. Would appreciate more sidewalks between areas, but otherwise, outstanding place to stay. HOWEVER, while I get that you're trying to sell Wyndham memberships, I sat patiently for 2 1/2 hours through a sales presentation that should have been shorter and I I have very low confidence that you're going to make good on it.

This was a rotten experience for the price point, and even reaching out to the customer service text line got no response. Check in was up a very steep long set of steps, the only thing they did up there was take a card for incidentals, give me a folder with my room number and send me downstairs to suffer thru high pressure condo sales talk, interrogation about how much I paid for the room, and given the keys and info. The ocean view room was not ocean view- it was partial marsh view. The elevator was broken the entire time, and the unit was wide open when we arrived- we had to call and have the door repaired. The bed was hard, and there were pieces of torn cigarette, and cigarette ashes on the deck. The floors were buckled and uneven, there was construction noise for a long time on Saturday, and the upstairs sounded like there was a herd of elephants walking laps until way past midnight every night.

This is a very nice property. The apartment is spacious, clean and can comfortably accommodate 6. The kitchen was well appointed and beds were perfect. I was visiting Edisto for an event so didn’t use the pool or other facilities on site, but they looked nice. I’ll definitely stay again.

Our second stay at this location - enjoyed both. Only minor problem was that the unit was not ready at check-in time - having to wait after a five hour drive was aggravating. Check out time is 10am and check in is 4pm - if you can't get units ready in that time frame maybe you need more cleaning staff.

amazing place for a get away! The island is very relaxing and beautiful. This is not a place if you are looking for fast food or shopping!! The condo was beautiful and very clean.

We thought we had booked a waterfront view and a jacuzzi tub, but we didn’t get either. There was a live roach inside the clock on the stove. The floors were not clean because when we took a shower we left black footprints in the shower. We had upstairs neighbors who allowed their children to run and jump late into the night. This was no fault of the property, but was very rude of our neighbors.

Loved the property and the resort and all the amenities. Close to beaches and restaurants. Beautiful area. We only had one problem. The toilet was not working well. We had to flush it 2-3 times to make it go down the drain. Guy came out one day and said it was fixed, but it kept causing problems. Other than that it was great!

The room was spacious and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly. There were some minor cosmetic things like chipping paint. The dishwasher was not secured and tipped each time we opened it. It was also very noisy when it ran and the dishes did not all come clean.

Felt a little blindsided when I got there and was immediately hit with timeshare sales pitch. The complex called and texted multiple times over the course of my stay to get me to do the full sales tour. I don't come to hotels.com for timeshare presentation stays. Room was fine, comfortable. Amenities were nice. Beach is very clean. Building sways in the slightest wind.

The location was good and the accommodations were great. The only difficulty was understanding the check in process and the room wasn't ready on time. We waited an extra 30 minutes and had to go back to the check in desk because no one notified us that it was ready.

Perhaps I should have researched a little further, but was not aware of the sales pitch I received at check in(minor inconvenience) and also the next morning via a phone call from corporate(terribly inconvenient). We were there for a short vacation not to hear what else the property could offer.

Our second stay at this location - enjoyed both. Only minor problem was that the unit was not ready at check-in time - having to wait after a five hour drive was aggravating. Check out time is 10am and check in is 4pm - if you can't get units ready in that time frame maybe you need more cleaning staff.

Excellent amenities, very clean. Would appreciate more sidewalks between areas, but otherwise, outstanding place to stay. HOWEVER, while I get that you're trying to sell Wyndham memberships, I sat patiently for 2 1/2 hours through a sales presentation that should have been shorter and I I have very low confidence that you're going to make good on it.

Part of some Wyndam vacation club. Repeatedly called and given a tedious sales pitch to join the club. Edisto is very pretty with a beautiful beach in walking distance, but somewhat remote.

This was a rotten experience for the price point, and even reaching out to the customer service text line got no response. Check in was up a very steep long set of steps, the only thing they did up there was take a card for incidentals, give me a folder with my room number and send me downstairs to suffer thru high pressure condo sales talk, interrogation about how much I paid for the room, and given the keys and info. The ocean view room was not ocean view- it was partial marsh view. The elevator was broken the entire time, and the unit was wide open when we arrived- we had to call and have the door repaired. The bed was hard, and there were pieces of torn cigarette, and cigarette ashes on the deck. The floors were buckled and uneven, there was construction noise for a long time on Saturday, and the upstairs sounded like there was a herd of elephants walking laps until way past midnight every night.

We really liked how close our place was to the pool and breakfast spot. Sadly it was 2 couples and we ordered a room with a king and queen. Upon arrival we realized it was a king room and two twin beds. When we called they were very unhelpful and refused to change our room.

Great weekend getaway. The free mini golf the kids loved. If we were to stay a few days we would definitely rented a golf cart as it would have been easier to get to and from the beach. Seeing we rented the Wyndham crew attempted us to get us to sit for a 90 min preso to try to book our own timeshare. But once we finished he provided us his cell and told us to reach out if we had any issues.

It's not clear on the site but there is no beach access on the property. They say it's a 5 minute walk but it is more like a 15-20 minute walk. We drove to the beach each day. The property was clean and the staff was friendly. But this should be advertised more clearly there is no beach access.

The room was clean and spacious for 2 people. Loved renting bikes and riding the paths the island has. It's NICE & QUIET. If you're looking for alot of action you need to go somewhere else. Very professional staff with fantastic customer service. Always provided prompt responses to all questions and requests, which was greatly appreciated.
