Basic room over priced for what you get when pool out of order! Breakfast nothing special and over priced for children. Only booked this hotel because of pool for respite and arrive to check in to see sign at reception pool out of order ! Gutted waste of money!

Staff were very helpful and friendly, hotel has a very modern look, pool was great and reception staff in spa area very nice, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent too. Nice comfortable bed, clean room. Plenty of disabled parking spaces right outside entrance.

Great hotel and great location. **Just be aware of the hidden charges.** car parking is an additional £5, use of the pool is an additional £5. Food onsite is Ok. I personally had a little issue with my food, but it was resolved with a free drink. I Would stay here again, just need to be aware of those sneaky extras!

Lovely stay. Staff super helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Brilliant gym facilities, however slightly disappointing that the sauna and steam were out of service for the duration of our stay. Food there was a wide selection and great quality however quite over priced for what it was.

Great hotel chain, you know what to expect and it never lets you down. Also has a great health club with good sized and pool and plenty of modern equipment all clean and in good working order. Found the bar very quiet in the evening but wasn’t an issue for me and I guess each night is dependant on the mix of guest. Great staff, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Happy to recommend

Stayed here for a second time. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is good. Suggest you check in with a person and not on the DIY screens. Breakfast was good. Coffee machines are tempermental though! Lots of people use the on site gym, so its a busy place. Didn't get to use the pool, but it's £5 for a 24 hour pass. Be aware parking isnt free, which is bizarre as it's on the edge of the city and tonnes of parking at the hotel and surrounding businesses/offices.

Hotel was great, helpful friendly staff. I just objected to getting a £5 per night charge for parking my car in the car park. The hotel is quite remote so no other way of getting there. At least be up front and tell people about the charge before they book the room!

I have stayed here many times and it will continue to be my first choice for stays in Aberdeen. As always, the staff are friendly and helpful, my room is ready and clean and well equipped, parking is easy and the leisure facilities are splendid. A few lengths of the pool helps to stretch off a long day of travelling. On this trip I enjoyed a delicious salmon dish for my dinner when I arrived, perfectly cooked. At breakfast the next morning I asked Joshua if it would be okay to take a mug up to my room, as the coffe cups provided are a little small for a devoted tea swigger like me. Joshua didn't just make me feel comfortable about making this request, but later brought me a mug to borrow. I found out later in my stay that he had been working solo that morning too, but that did not show in his interactions at all. I observed Erin showing the same standards of above and beyond levels of customer service the next morning too. I hope they both feel valued for the difference they make to people's stay. One very small suggestion- decaff options for in room beverages, pretty please? And a mug 😆

Great stay here as part of a one night stay. Really nice room (Club Room) and staff all very friendly. Great gym and pool facilities. Good choice of food and beverage outlets - one complaint was cost of food in bar. Very expensive for what it is and was the only mark down on my stay.

Overall the hotel is pretty nice. Unfortunately I had a room (231) directly above the gym, so the 6am spin class hardcore dance music acted as a good alarm. The room also had vomit staining on the carpet beside the bed. Not great

Everything was pretty good at the hotel, with the exception of the bathroom vanity being full of a previous guest’s facial shavings. When the sink was used all the hair would bubble up into the basin. It was disgusting. As the room had no phone, I reported it online as was the way I was directed but after 2 hours of no response, I had to go downstairs to report it. They couldn’t do anything until the next day, when I believe, all that was needed was a plunger. This ruined what had been a pleasant stay. An exhaust fan is a necessity in any hotel bathroom.

The light in the bathroom was not sufficient.It was difficult to shave without cutting yourself. 3.The entry for the shower in the tub was very high, there was a chance of slipping 4. The room was not cleaned properly even when requested 5. No drinking water in the room. No fridge, no safe in the room 6. Front desk staff was friendly 7. There was no liquid body soap in the bottle. Realised only after I had wet myself. No hair conditioner

Check in very slow. Person behind desk creepy and looking up and down. No warmth. Then fee for parking. Well no option but to pay it. And fee if want to use gym. Whole reason booked was for gym and then find out need to pay-no. For price of room expected included. Room felt dirty, smelt of musty man. Basic amenities at best. Bed uncomfortable. Noisy room, feel and hear everything around. Breakfast. Rated high by others so I must have had bad day. Port selection. Very much geared at corporate. No communication. Would not recommend. Premier in cheaper and better on all accounts.

Nice fairly new hotel. Good amenities with gym, pool, coffee shop. Fairly basic burger orientated menu but tasty. My room had a mouldy ceiling and mould around shower tray which is dissappointing. Breakfast was good. Decent sausages!

We had a double room.Not much of a view but that didn’t matter for us.Room was clean,good shower ,sky sports on the tv,bed was comfy.Good selection at breakfast,though food could be a bit hotter.Staff around about all helpful and courteous.We are going to another village hotel in august and this one has wetted our appetite looking forward for our next stay.

Hotel spotless, gym and pool facilities excellent and food in restaurant great quality and affordable. All staff polite and helpful. What negatively impacted our stay this time was having a room on 2nd floor close to the main hotel door, very noisy late into the night from outside. Air con in room was poor too, stiflingly hot but couldnt open the window at night due to noise, air con was on constantly but made no difference at all

I don’t usually leave reviews but feel I gave to for this stay. Hotel was clean & tidy. Restaurant the same, service was quick and food hot and tasty. The bedroom was spacious, large shower, comfy bed however the chair would not raise in height, so was too low to use sat the desk area. When I checked in, no mention of the room being above the Gym was made and I could hear every beat of the music, every word of encouragement from the instructor below! I enquired with the staff at the gym and was told the classes stopped at 7pm, which they did. However, at 10pm someone was moving equipment about, noisily! This eventually stopped. But the same happened again at 5:30am, with music being played at 6am!! When I checked out and said something about maybe warning people who have room 125, the receptionist said “ahh yes” but never offered an apology!

Very disappointing that there was a lot of banging that started at 5.55am followed by koud music as it appears there is a gym work out that starts at 6am so think they need to consider this for other guests that have roo.s close to gym

Beautiful hotel, modern decor, and a comfortable bed. Room was extremely spacious. Felt as though it was missing a sofa or chair as the light was shining on an empty space. TV had sky sports which I was very happy about when we got the back the room and the boxing was on. The lady at the reception when we arrived recommended a nice place local to go eat because when asked if we wanted breakfast, we said no as we are late risers. This was fantastic non-biased customer service

A little disappointed with poor value on food at restauarant. Took an offer to save 10% , but then it transpires than you have to order, starter, main & desert at the same time to qualify for this - unusally (and un expected) soft drinks are excluded from this voucher. And £4.25 for a dispensed Coke is a rip off. Staff and management uninterested about this. so our 10% saving turned into a 10% penalty. This is my regular Aberdeen hotel - but with the excellent ALoft nearby - this will no longer be my 1st choice. Little things make the difference .

Requested to be moved rooms due to being woken early by the gym classes, reception staff weren’t the most cooperative. Appalling service in the restaurant, waiting over 30minutes for dessert. I don’t usually leave reviews but feel I gave to for this stay. Hotel was clean & tidy. Restaurant the same, service was quick and food hot and tasty. The bedroom was spacious, large shower, comfy bed however the chair would not raise in height, so was too low to use sat the desk area. When I checked in, no mention of the room being above the Gym was made and I could hear every beat of the music, every word of encouragement from the instructor below! I enquired with the staff at the gym and was told the classes stopped at 7pm, which they did. However, at 10pm someone was moving equipment about, noisily! This eventually stopped. But the same happened again at 5:30am, with music being played at 6am!! When I checked out and said something about maybe warning people who have room 125, the receptionist said “ahh yes” but never offered an apology!

Check in very slow. Person behind desk creepy and looking up and down. No warmth. Then fee for parking. Well no option but to pay it. And fee if want to use gym. Whole reason booked was for gym and then find out need to pay-no. For price of room expected included. Room felt dirty, smelt of musty man. Basic amenities at best. Bed uncomfortable. Noisy room, feel and hear everything around. Breakfast. Rated high by others so I must have had bad day. Port selection. Very much geared at corporate. No communication. Would not recommend. Premier in cheaper and better on all accounts.

I have stayed here many times and it will continue to be my first choice for stays in Aberdeen. As always, the staff are friendly and helpful, my room is ready and clean and well equipped, parking is easy and the leisure facilities are splendid. A few lengths of the pool helps to stretch off a long day of travelling. On this trip I enjoyed a delicious salmon dish for my dinner when I arrived, perfectly cooked. At breakfast the next morning I asked Joshua if it would be okay to take a mug up to my room, as the coffe cups provided are a little small for a devoted tea swigger like me. Joshua didn't just make me feel comfortable about making this request, but later brought me a mug to borrow. I found out later in my stay that he had been working solo that morning too, but that did not show in his interactions at all. I observed Erin showing the same standards of above and beyond levels of customer service the next morning too. I hope they both feel valued for the difference they make to people's stay. One very small suggestion- decaff options for in room beverages, pretty please? And a mug 😆

We chose this hotel for an overnight stop-over in Aberdeen. The hotel is on the outskirts of Aberdeen very close to a Park & Ride and a bus gets you into the centre in about 15 minutes. The hotel seemed very busy, on the ground floor area but our room was very quiet. The room itself was of a modern style. Basic but comfortable and the bathroom was modern with rainfall shower. If back in the area, would be happy to stay there again.

Fantastic hotel, a little bit out of the way from the centre of Aberdeen but it didn’t spoil our stay, the food in the restaurant is amazing and the staff are great, would definitely recommend it and I’ll definitely book again in the future.

The Village Hotel Aberdeen, was a great place to stay while visiting the area. It's location is close enough to Aberdeen to get to the city quickly, but also close to local highways that allow easy travel to other areas.

Hotel was great, helpful friendly staff. I just objected to getting a £5 per night charge for parking my car in the car park. The hotel is quite remote so no other way of getting there. At least be up front and tell people about the charge before they book the room!

We have stayed many times at Village hotels and opt for the " upper deck " rooms , giving access to the leisure facilities and sky tv in your room . However on this stay we noted that there is no longer the Nespresso machine in the room and the Bose sound system. The location of this hotel is on the edge of the city and a short drive into the centre.

Nice pool and facilities and comfy room. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast. It was cold or undercooked and not restocked quickly. The staff were lovely though it was very busy just over run I think.

A little disappointed with poor value on food at restauarant. Took an offer to save 10% , but then it transpires than you have to order, starter, main & desert at the same time to qualify for this - unusally (and un expected) soft drinks are excluded from this voucher. And £4.25 for a dispensed Coke is a rip off. Staff and management uninterested about this. so our 10% saving turned into a 10% penalty. This is my regular Aberdeen hotel - but with the excellent ALoft nearby - this will no longer be my 1st choice. Little things make the difference .

The food in the hotel restaurant was extremely poor. The evening I arrived both my friend and I ordered fish and chips. The fish was quite taist less. The next morning I had the cooked breakfast which was both taist less and not properly cooked. This morning I had a cold breakfast which was ok but my coffee was just lukewar. I then checked out and certainly won't return to the same hotel again as I was extremely disappointed with the food and service!
