Catastrophique : chambre facturée 40$ de plus qu’indiqué sous prétexte que la chambre demandée n’est plus dispo donc chambre supérieure. Pour 90$ : prise de courant cassée, vmc cassée, serviettes de toilette déchirées, distributeur de boissons HS et j’en passe. Au réveil le matin je constate que le parking est quasiment vide donc : belle arnaque aux touristes étrangers. Je déconseille ce motel

For the price and area it was ok... the sheets were definitely not clean but at least there wasn’t carpet in the room.. kind of a sketchy area.. the room was cleanish... kinda. Lamp and phone by bed did not work

The floor was dirty, Nail clippings by the night stand, pee and hair on the toilet, hairs on the bed sheets. By far the nastiest place I've ever had to stay. I see why they were the only place in town with vacancy. I read other reviews while I was there. If the person writing the review had an "American" name it was bad and was a real review. All the 5 star reviews were fake! Wouldn't stay here again if it was the only place in town

First they didn’t have my reservation. Had a room and said they would honor my price through Hotels.com. I went to show my rate and host proceeded to charge me $15 more than quoted. Wasn’t a big deal so I let it go. When I got into the room, the toilet seat was broken, toilet paper fixture was broke. Towels seemed clean. Holes in walls, ironing board was stained. Sheets seemed clean. Nothing was plugged in, microwave and fridge. No thermostat that I could find, so was a touch cold in the room. Woke up and noticed the top sheet was dirty. I would have noticed if my face was that dirty prior to lying down so the pillow cases were dirty as well. Turned on the shower and it started as a heavy rust color…ran it and then smelled it. Seemed better(and I had no other option) so I showered, got dressed and left. Broken glass outside the door. I guess that is what I get when getting a $65 room in a small town in IA. But I would hope the $65 is enough to at least wipe down the shower and counter.

The other reviewers here are correct I had a two-night stay reserved, already paid through hotels.com . They added $30 to my bill, saying it was a "hotel charge" .. no idea what that means, but i went ahead and paid it The "free breakfast" cost $10 ... Which i did not get The room itself seemed comfortable and as advertised however The coffee maker was dirty.. dirt caked into where the water goes .. Something activated my allergies, and my "non smoking" room had a slight odor of tobacco. I had bug bites on my arms after sleeping the night Would not recommend there is another budget type motel in town.

Total negative. Price doubled from what was agreed online — no negotiation. No toilet paper - half plug-ins did not work - tv had PARENTAL controls. Breakfast - HA! Too many awful things — will NEVER stay here or recommend.

Friendly staff and clean

This vintage property is updated, fresh and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It looked like it was newly renovated. I was charged full rate at checkin. (Not the rate quoted on hotels.com)I was so tired at this time i didnt catch their mistake. The bed was soft! Only problem i had was that morning we saw a couple of roaches on the bathroom vanity.

Roach on bed and in picture on wall. Sheets stained and nasty. Never staying there again and staff rude to us.

We were in room 108 the only thing wrong was that the plug ins on the lamp don’t work

For one thing it ended up costing over $20 more than Expedia said it would. Continental breakfast was toast and OJ or Little Debbie snacks. That part was definitely below the normal motel breakfast. Renovation on the rooms are below standard. The outlets need replaced. Otherwise whatever is plugged in will fall out. My list could be longer, but just know I will not stay there again.

Most of the power outlets did not work. There was no water pressure in the shower

The bath tub didn’t have a stopper so we couldn’t use the tub, there was barely any hot water, no coffee cups or water cups. The refrigerator was warm due to not being plugged in.

I reserved three rooms: a king bed ( 2 adults), and 2 double queen beds (2 adults and 1 child in each room). Each room was booked for two nights. When I booked on hotels.com, I was given the following prices, $125, $121, and $121 and some change with each one. My total for all three rooms had I paid through the app and not waited to get to the hotel would have been $368 and some change. When we checked in, we were told those prices were incorrect and that they had to charge us more, because the hotel charges additional fees. The fees ended up being $100 more. When I asked the hours for breakfast, I was told that was an additional $10 per person, including the children. The hotel is advertised as having a free continental breakfast. The person checking is in said that was incorrect and if we wanted breakfast we would have to pay for it. I told them they were crazy, I could go to Walmart or a restaurant cheaper, especially since it wasn't even a hot breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean, but I'm very upset about the additional charges. I should have only had to pay what I was given when i reserved through the app. There were other travelers who were stating the same about the additional fees and their bill being higher then it should have been.

They're always changing the prices as soon as you get there

Booked online showed up and they said they are not accepting online bookings if I wanted stay I would have to pay them 27 more a night than Expedia let me book it for online

Booked a room on Orbitz for a set price. Owner didn’t honor set price and charged more supposedly due to booked room type not available at near empty motel. Most will honor price if room type not available.

Beware!!!Dishonest & deceitful people. Initially charged us more than we paid and booked online. Then charged my card $50 & $150 days later on 2 different times. When I checked they said they will check with booking personnel. When I checked back they said there were damages, which they cannot even show invoice and photos. Took out money without notification, that’s robbery in broad daylight. Advertised free breakfast and there was none. Another deception.

First off when I walked in the door the owner was calling the front desk to tell them how much to charge me, they disregarded my reservation, ignored my price guarantee, told me I still owed them after they took every dime out of my account, refused to refund my money when I realized. What they was doing, was told I was beat I wasn't getting a refund and that I had to take the room, I was robbed, forced to stay there I want my money back, all of it, I didn't want that dump of a room after what they took from me. Was told I would get a partial refund after I checked out and that was hours ago .I want all of my money back, all of it, I will not stay there or use this service again ever.

Didn't get a receipt and breakfast was not interesting.

This property tried to add additional sales tax as well as a pet fee even though I didn’t have a pet with me and Expedia already gave me the price they tried to add an additional $15 to the Expedia price. If you want to stay somewhere rude and sketchy, look no further. They should be reported tot the BBB.

The hotel it’s self isn’t terrible. It definitely could be cleaned better. When we arived they charged my card $40 more then what Expedia said. Then my little brother showed up to drop me off after fishing and the owners of the motel followed him ten minutes to ask him if he wanted to rent a room which was really weird. Plus there’s a lot of sketchy people staying in the motel definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel I would rather sleep in my truck on the side of the highway then to stay in this sketchy place again.

First I don't like that they don't respect the Expedia price, they charge us $100 approximately more, the hotel was vacancy, no breakfast as they says in your advertising. I am traveling with a budget and it is not good. The hotel is 1 start.
