Great property, hosts were great, camp fire get together with s’mores, very quiet, rooms clean and comfy, only thing I would change is having a stove top so you could cook. Loved our stay!

Best place we stayed on our trip! Had the nicest time sitting around the campfire with our hosts and other guests. The cabins are beautiful and SO clean! Had a nice little play area for kids and walking trails on the property. Wish we would have had more than one night here! Quick drive down the road to Talkeetna.

Wonderful and quiet lodge with well-appointed kitchenette, lots of local recommendations on the bulletin, beautiful, clean cabins. Close to the highway but off the beaten path. We walked down to the creek from the trail on property.

We stayed for three nights at the Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge with our grandson. The hosts were fantastic. They offered to loan a fishing rod and lures to our grandson so he could fish in Montana Creek a few hundred feet from the cabin. A campfire and s’mores were available every night near the lodge allowing us to visit with other travelers. The cabin had comfortable beds and pillows with a kitchenette that included dishes, refrigerator, a microwave and sink. We had access to the lodge kitchen and grill after 6 pm to cook a family meal. Honestly, if you want to see Denali you can see it much better from Talkeetna. It is a quaint little town. The lodge provided a true camping experience with the comfort of beds and indoor plumbing. I highly recommend it.

My family absolutely loved our stay at Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge. We were warmly welcomed to a beautiful cabin that even had our name on it! The bed was incredibly cozy, the kitchen was fully equipped for preparing delicious meals, and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower and high-quality shampoo. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly too. This was truly the highlight of our Alaska trip, and we can’t wait to return to this amazing place. Thank you for making our trip wonderful and memorable!

It is very conveniently located with a couple of miles from Alaska 3. The grounds and the property are spotlessly clean thanks to the property managers Tommy and Angie. We enjoyed our stay and the fireside chat with them making S'Mores. They are very friendly and caring. When we return to Telkeetna, this is where we would stay.

My family loved everything about our stay. The cabin was clean, had plenty of space, and we loved every minute of our time spent there. We walked the nearby trails, did some rock hunting, enjoyed the campfire and s'mores with other vacationers, and appreciated all of the information that Todd shared with us. Todd and Angie were excellent to work with - so friendly and efficient! The location is perfect and close to nearby businesses but remains in the authentic Alaskan forest. It's a quick drive to the shopping area of Talkeetna. Our only regret is not staying longer. It truly made for our perfect Alaskan vacation!

We stayed in the early season when a lot of the area is still in hibernation mode.The cabin was in great condition and kept us cozy and warm. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was hot, and the kitchenette was useful. The view of the birch forest from the cabin and the screened in patio was our favorite.

We only stayed here for one night on our way to Denali but would have loved to stay longer. The cabin was beautiful and well appointed. It was tucked back in the woods and there was a creek behind that we could see salmon in. The cabins were quiet and had blackout curtains. We would definitely come back!

Cute area in the woods. Loved the enclosed porch. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were a little hard. There were plenty of dishes and silverware. The well water was ok, I bought water to drink as the kettle water had a metallic taste. There were plenty of drink options. The towels were sufficient. The futon was not comfortable and the coffee table was on wheels. The dining table was nice.

Such a wonderful place to stay! We used this location as our home base for all of our excursions to Talkeetna and Denali. We stayed 4 nights which allowed us to settle in a bit. We loved the s'mores as night and the kids loved using the swings. The cabin (cabin 2) was perfect for our family of 4. Looks like it was recently renovated and very clean. Loved the screened in porch for morning breakfast. Great black out curtains. Hosts were great sources of information and answered any questions we had about the area. Only dowside was that the pillows were a little flat to my prefernce.

This is a lovely property about 15 mins from town. We were in cabin 4 and Angie was amazing with communication and responsiveness. It was a long day of driving from Anchorage before we got there around 9pm and she was so helpful with suggesting dinner recommendations that fit my elder parents medical diet requirements. Thank you Angie for your help, care and communication. Cabin 4 is like being home. So tastefully decorated, quiet and warm.

Loved that from the moment of arrival the heater was on making the cabin toasty warm. Plenty of room and loved that there was a separate coffee maker and water heater. Not far from main road, local brewery, town or property trails.

This was a great little cabin for our family of four. The small kitchenette was great for making breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. The only negative was that there was no inside table to eat at. There was a sceened in porch with a little table but it was rainy and cold during our stay, so we didn't use it. We had fun exploring the short trails to the creek and even saw a couple salmon. Thus is a more affordable option than staying right in Talkeenta. Talkeenta is just 15 miles up the road.

Our stay was amazing! The cabin was well outfitted, up to date and adorable! The caretaker was super friendly and in spite of the drizzle she made a fire in the lodge and invited us for smores by the fire!! Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful location only 15 min from Talkeetna!
