The Dean Dublin Centre

Very fun hotel, decorated in a unique manner, very moody which we liked. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed all the windows! The gym has everything you could ask for, great for longer stays! We enjoyed the pool as well!

Beautifully decorated hotel with a funk feel, comfortable room, fantastic location, brilliant rooftop restaurant and bar.

Lovely hotel that has an amazing excellent bar, gym, pool and rooms.

We love the dean! So lovely that they have a heated pool. Really enjoyed it after a long day of walking and exploring Dublin! We reccomend the dean to anyone going to Dublin,Galway, or Cork!!

This cute place blew my mind! They upgraded our rooms automatically at no additional charge. The rooftop restaurant Sophie’s is super cool and trendy and the patio side is adorable. 10/10! I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hipster hotel close to the heart of Dublin. Easy to walk to all the main sites plus tram stop nearby. Very nice furnishings and deco. The vinyl player in the room is a nice touch. Pre-order breakfast the day before for 15€ and you'll get a good deal on the a la carte menue items (plus coffee and juice). Pool is heated, which was nice on a cold winter morning.

Great location, fantastic gym. Is in a busy area for bars/clubs but the rooms are well soundproofed. Sophie’s Rooftop restaurant had a broad menu with various other options nearby.

Room 203 needs a revamp. Very grubby, with black dirt coming from the hot tap, shelf in en suite hanging odd and dirt around taps. Floor has not been properly cleaned.

Very clean, close to Grafton street. We loved our stay. Big room!

The room was much smaller than expected. It was literally impossible to open even one suitcase in the room. The bathroom was disguisting, we found an used condom in the shower and the sink was blocked. We were, however, provided compensation about the incident with a professional manner. There were nice details on the room interior, but I wish some efforts would have been invested in practical settings. The bathroom was so tight that I burned My shoukder to the towel rack, The was no place for jackets, shoes...The door did not properly close if the "do not disturb" sign was on. During the departure Day The housekeeping disturbed us twice. First without any warning, it felt really unconfortable. Second Time at 11 am annoyed : " are you planning to stay over or what!!??" Our checkout was at 12:00. Not comfortable at all as My partneri had a severe toothache. Sophie's was okay for food and drinks with a nice view. Pool was nice bonus! The room had nice big tv. Location was good. However, with the paid price you can find better options. We planned this stay as a highlight fir our holiday but it was not that special in the end. The bartender at townhouse was a lovely person with innovative ideas, that was probably the best memory from here! :)

Prima hotel met leuke bar op de bovenste etage. Helaas alleen housekeeping op verzoek. Wij verbleven 5 nachten en de prullenbak is ons hele verblijf niet geleegd. Daarnaast was de badkamer niet erg schoon. Schimmel op de voegen. Tevens betaal je 50 euro borg per nacht, wat niet bij de reservering werd vermeld. Vrij kleine kamer met een klein bed wat niet voor de gemiddelde lengte Nederlander gemaakt is. De rooftopbar is erg aangenaam en zeker een positief puntje van het hotel.

The area is quite nice and the hotel has charm. However the bathroom could definitely use a deep clean/some repairs and our soaps were almost empty when we arrived.

We loved the spa/gym area, and obviously the location. There is a rooftop dinning are very nice to be at although food at lunch was just average. Room for 3 is very tight but I guess its what you can expect for the price on thar location. However we agree it was lacking cleanliness we were moved of a room cause we found used contact less beside the bed what means they obviously didn’t change the bedsheets. We were not offer any type of compensation for it ( literally only for the hassle of having to move everything to another room) but overall we think we probably would stay there again.

This hotel was not clean, the restaurant for breakfast is good, I didn't like dinner (and have eaten there in the past and it was not good either). I had an incident on check out and the staff were unhelpful. In addition when I checked in - I was put in a room no accessibile by a lift on the same floor and no one to help me with my bag (the next morning there was someone) but when I arrived having to haul my own 30 kg bag to the room (I checked in at 21.15 so it was not late).

Great staff. Rooms are very well decorated but on the small side. The room had a sweet wrapper stuck to the ceiling! There were also crisps crumbs in the floor. Late check out at 12 is a plus as is the lovely Sophie’s restaurant and the hotel bar.

Nice property and close to many of the city’s highlights but could get quite noisy at night. The room I stayed in was wicked small, I had to chuck my luggage over the bed to get it through the room. And it was weird having to ask to use the hot tub.. it was a bit awkward so we just decided against it. The restaurant in the building was lovely.

Pleasant hotel, but the room was very small with nowhere to put clothes, the door handle was falling off. Also, the accommodation was separate to the reception - you have to walk out onto the street to get to the house with the rooms.

Room was very clean, room was super small, barely could walk around the bed. Glass see through for bathroom. Great front desk person, took us next door, another building or two to our room. No parking, about 1km walk to an expensive car garage … hotel validates a couple dollars off?! ! We will not stay in Dublin again

This place is located a short walk to the city center and its very accessible transportation wise. Very close to the pubs, restaurants, clubs and select historic sites. The hotel was great with offering a restaurant and two bars (lobby and roof). The one draw back, room comfort/size. Our room felt VERY tight for two - we had to coordinate movements to navigate within the space. The bed was comfortable but bumped up against a wall. Outside of that, next time I would ask for pictures about the room and size before booking.

Right in the heart of things. Room was large (superroom). In-room turntable was a nice touch. Room amenities were reasonable $$$. Rooftop bar and downstairs bar were both great. Can't think of anything more I'd want!

The room was extremely small for a family of 3. The bathroom door was not working properly so you couldn’t close the door all the way or you got stuck in the bathroom. Had to have my husband push the door from outside the bathroom a couple of times to get out. We were put in 404 which we found out that night was right under the bar and they played music and had a DJ all night (until 3am). They do provide earplugs but the fact they actually put a family on that floor and don’t tell you. Our sleep that night was awful. Would not recommend this hotel if you have a family or older and not into club life. The location was nice and the front desk folks were nice.

Rooms are too small Shoebox size

The hotel is very stylish and beautifully decorated - however beware that if you’re given a room in the new extension (not the original townhouse) that it’s going to be VERY small. Good only knows what would have happened if this had been a work trip and I’d needed to work in the room.

Great location for walking/city centre. Well decorated rooms, but lacking basic things such as mesh curtains and room also felt very cramped. Terrible location in terms of noise. Bars and clubs within the hotel, and on the entire street. Had to be moved rooms due to booming music. After being moved, every night at 2/3am the streets were loud filled with drunkards (0 soundproofing windows, but also hallways). Beware you may also stay in the building 2 doors down from main hotel+reception, which felt out of the way and less safe. Unfortunately would not stay again. Luxury price tag for less than average stay.

Room decor lovely but room was small and dark. Reception area crowded and uninviting. Getting to the room from reception not convenient either especially in the rain - going outside from reception then inside then outside through courtyard!

The receptionist was nonchalant to the point of being rude. Just seemed totally uninterested.

Service was exceptional. Dave was wonderful—he shared some great tips and made me feel completely at home. It felt like chatting with an old friend. The room was lovely as well. I didn’t have any issues with noise. I must have been on the other side of the club, though I was on the 4th floor, just below The Sophie. There was some construction, but it was quite minimal considering the circumstances. Being from New York, I’m used to constant horn honking, alarms, and the general white noise of city life—so it actually felt pretty still to me. (LOVE HOW NO ONE SEEMS TO HONK HERE. so refreshing!!! I was pleasantly surprised, especially since the listing mentioned possible noise and even provided earplugs. If you’re staying in a city, you should always anticipate a bit of background sound—it’s just part of the experience. Oh if you do come, bring a swimsuit and make sure to book some time at the pool and sauna. It was quite peaceful and lovely, and nice to have to oneself since the pool is quite small and laps are only a few strokes, but it felt good!

We had an amazing stay at The Dean Dublin. The staff were brilliant and go above and beyond. The location is excellent, in the heart of Dublin for shopping, dining and nightlife.Sophies rooftop bar is a great place to relax and hangout. We will definately stay here again

4.5 stars - The Dean was excellent! The details were so intentional and vibes were impeccable. We stayed in the Punk Bunk room, which was certainly cozy but we anticipated that. The shower had great water pressure and bathroom clean. Our bathroom had peeling paint in several spots and could use some touching up. The hotel has a gym in the basement that is beautiful and has locker rooms with towels and showers, which was absolutely perfect for us to use to freshen up after an early flight before our room was ready. The food at Sophie’s was delicious and the location couldn’t be better.
