Great stay! I am usually at Jurys Inn but tried HI and much prefer it. Gym, Starbucks, closer to the station, great staff. This will be my go to hotel in Watford now!!!

We stayed here for a concert at Wembley. Really close to the station and not far from the town to get food. Clean, really friendly staff especially the trainee receptionist who’s name I didn’t get but he was very helpful discussing the parking which is cheap (for London) Clean room, nice shower and facilities with reusable shower gel/conditioner ect

Stayed here several times. We choose it for close proximity to train station and onward short journey for London and Watford town for resturants and bars. Hotel has an onsite carpark which is a bonus. Hotel rooms clean and comfy with everything we need for a short stay esp tea / coffee making facilities and air con and good blackout curtains. Negative point- The safe to low for us to use. Breakfast was chaotic on saturday morning no where to sit and no cutlery. Not all hot food available . Sunday was much more comfortable loads of room and all food avaiable Negative points- only one coffee machine for everyone so slow! Weekend breakfast time now finishes at 10am used to be 11am. The outside seating area is very tired and not appealing and hasnt had any TLC for several years. Some seats dont have cushions used to like sitting out there in the evening but would rather go out now.

Stay here once a year for easy access to train station to London. Hotel also has parking. Room comfy with what we need for a short stay. Breakfast always seems chaotic on the weekend we are there waiting for table and waiting for breakfast items to be replenished. The downside of the room which i mention every year the room safe is on the floor and not accessible to some of us.

The hotel offers excellent service and the staff is very accommodating. There's ample parking available. However, the property appears slightly outdated, and the rooms are somewhat small, likely due to its prime location. Additionally, there were noticeable scale stains on the faucets, which could be easily remedied. Personally, I'm not a big fan of carpets in hotel rooms. The carpets here seemed worn out - a thorough steam cleaning of the carpets in each room would significantly enhance the comfort level of the hotel. Despite these minor issues, my overall experience during my 3-night stay was very good.

Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel offers an excellent location right next to the Watford Junction station, and a 5-muinutes walk to the Watford High Street. The room was clean and well-maintained. We opted for the breakfast and it was a good choice. Not a wide food selection but everything served was of great quality. Very nice coffee too! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately this hotel was very disappointing and certanly not to the standard we are used to when staying with Travel lodge. The room was unkempt. It smelt stale. The towels and bedding were clean. The road was very noisy at night. Delivery trucks parking near the hotel with the hazzard lights lighting up the room. Lots of buses and sirens. We were not asked it everything had been ok when checking out.

This property is located near the Watford Junction train and bus station and is within walking distance of it. The hotel is modern and the room was nice. Staff were very friendly. This is a great hotel to stay at if you are visiting Harry Potter World as the shuttle bus to the studios is from the Bus stops near the train station which is quite close to the hotel . Despite the hotel being near to the train and bus station I did not hear any noise pollution at night . I would highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. 5*****

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel at all. The air conditioning did not work. We notify the stuff immediately. After 4 hours there was still no solution. We notify again, and again, no solution. Finally, at 10:00 pm, after we showed our strong dissatisfaction, they offered us another room. However, the air conditioning in that room would turned itself off every two hours. We went to this hotel to get a much needed sleep before a ten hours flight but left there more tired than we were before. If you want to test, stay away from this place.

Travel nearly 20 years. Never see any hotel checkin staff such as rude , arrogant and racist manner , the funny thing she is NOT even white . Such terrible experience ! Should be zero star of the service !

We found the staff very friendly and helpful, our economy broke at 10pm and we were moved to another room with no fuss, restaurant staff were also a credit to the hotel, our only comment would be that the food quality was not of a very good standard, based on other hotels we have used. The room was very clean even in corners where other people miss, a credit to the cleaning staff.

The Holiday Inn Watford Junction offers a convenient location, especially for those traveling by train, with easy access to both the station and nearby attractions. Some of the staff were genuinely helpful and went out of their way to assist us during our stay, which made a positive impression. However, this wasn’t consistent across the board, as some staff members seemed disinterested and less attentive. Our biggest issue was the WiFi. It was, by far, the worst hotel WiFi we’ve ever experienced. Loading a basic email was painfully slow, and we eventually had to head down to the lobby for a more stable connection. If you’re planning on working or streaming from your room, this could be a significant drawback. Despite these setbacks, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the modern amenities and overall atmosphere of the hotel. If WiFi quality isn’t a top priority for your stay, the hotel still offers good value, especially considering its prime location.

This property is located near the Watford Junction train and bus station and is within walking distance of it. The hotel is modern and the room was nice. Staff were very friendly. This is a great hotel to stay at if you are visiting Harry Potter World as the shuttle bus to the studios is from the Bus stops near the train station which is quite close to the hotel . Despite the hotel being near to the train and bus station I did not hear any noise pollution at night . I would highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. 5*****

advertised food when you want, when enquired about this on 2 separate occasions was informed by the bar staff that they don't serve any food before 5pm and after 9pm but you can order a takeaway, this was at 4.50pm and 9.10pm

Can't fault this hotel on anything at all, we had a crisis and needed an ambulance at 2h00am and the staff were amazing. food was great, reasonable and breakfast was lovely too. Super impressed. will definately be back.
