This hotel is a wooden cabin which has more of a hostel feel. It is far from Uvita’s centre and it’s hard to get a taxi or food delivery to the hotel. You need to go through a dirt road to get here. The breakfast was scarce and the rice reheated from the day before (I hope). The room felt humid even though the aircon was on. No wifi reached the bedroom. Expensive for the accommodations. Having said that, the grounds and beautiful and staff was kind.

Nice pool. Nice grounds except piles of organic trash on all sides, behind the cottages., Needs a refrigerator for guests to keep fruits, etc. No hot water. No milk. No tea for tea drinkers. No possibility of getting a bit of extra fruit at breakfast. I was refused every time., Rustic but pleasant.

Clean rooms in a very nice garden with lots of beautiful flowers. It is about 800 m to the beach and note that the beach is within a National Park, hence it costs 6 USD per person to visit the closest beach. Otherwise it is 5 km to Playa Hermosa to get on the free beach. During our stay there was no warm water in the shower and the breakfast was very basic (only scrambled eggs or pan cakes and coffee/tea.

The rooms are spacious and it's nice to have your own terrace. The place has a very homely and friendly feel, and the breakfast can be made vegan (and it's really good!). It's calm and peaceful, a bit like being in the jungle, hot, humid and the sounds of wildlife all around you, Macaws high up in the trees. A nice 1km walk along the road to Uvita beach. Wifi in the room wasn't great, but that didn't bother me, and the AC was quite noisy but that didn't bother me either, the ceiling fan was ok. All in all I really enjoyed my stay.

Jardin très beau, personnel dévoué et très sympathique. Grande chambre agréable. On déplore le manque d’eau chaude à la douche.
