Otelin konumu Haliç Kongre Merkezine biraz ters kalıyor buna dikkat edin. Ancak genel olarak müthiş bir deneyimdi. Spa sauna idare eder. Havuz yok otelde. Odalar geniş ve ferah. Özellikle kat görevlisi Ebru Hanım çok nazik ve işini mükemmel yapıyor, teşekkürler. Kahvaltı çeşidi çok iyi. Kahvaltı ekibinden Ece Hanım, Ömer Tufan, Tuncay ve Mahmut Beylere de teşekkür ederim. Misafirlere gayet yüksek ilgi ve alaka gösteriyorlar. Her şey çok iyiydi.

Das Hotel liegt am Golden Horn und hat schöne Zimmer mit Aussicht aufs Wasser (gegen Aufpreis). Unbedingt das Frühstücksbuffet dazu buchen! Das Personal ist beim Frühstück (und auch allgemein) extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent wie nur in wenigen Hotels. Vor allem der hervorragende Service von Ömer T. hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet ist gut, die Qualität sogar sehr gut. Auch das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr hilfsbereit und angenehm. Zwar liegt das Hotel an der Straße, aber der Verkehrslärm fällt nur minimal auf. In der näheren Umgebung ist nicht viel zu sehen. Nebenan fährt aber die Metro und das Hotel bietet 3 mal pro Tag einen kostenlosen Transfer zu den Touristen-Hotspots an. Man muss aber bedenken, dass je nach Verkehr 25-45 Minuten Fahrt anstehen. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, sauber (Danke an Sükran für die tägliche Reinigung) und enthalten kostenloses Wasser, Tee und Kaffee. Das Bett ist ebenfalls bequem. Den Spa-Bereich haben wir nicht benutzt, daher kann ich nichts dazu sagen. Kritikpunkte: Der Teppich in den Zimmern ist etwas älter und sieht nicht mehr schön aus. Auch die Auswahl der Kissen könnte größer sein. Außerdem sind die Preis im Arca Restaurant (in Relation zur Portionsgröße und Qualität) viel zu hoch. Man kann überall in der Stadt dieselbe Qualität deutlich günstiger bekommen. Aber die Aussicht ist schön! Fazit: Schönes und ruhiges Hotel mit hervorragendem Personal. Empfehlung! Weniger anzeigen

Hotel is located in 15 minute drive from Sultanahmet (sometimes 25m with crazy traffic) but it goes along Kennedy street, with a fantasic sea view alongside the road. The valet and parking itself are FREE and it is handled by professionals, leaving you with no hassle at all. Guest relations manager, Zeynep, the reception staff, they are always there in case you need anything, service at this hotel is awesome. Definitely recommend to try their breakfast with a nice variety of food and once again, great service as they never leave someone unattended. The breakfast restaurant has a terrace for smokers, good option. Rooms are pretty clean, comfy and twin rooms (which we stayed in) has a nice view. Would definitely come back again!

The staff was very cordial and they went out of their way to help us. I booked a suite with a sofa bed and instead they gave us a suite with a sofa. I was told that since i booked a single perso'ns room that i could not get a sofa bed. I explained to the manager that i did call to make them aware of the change to 2 guests and i was not made aware that the rate would have been different long story short we were given a suite with a sofa bed. When we opened the sofa the mattress was a mess it was dirty and there was food behind and stucked in the mattress it was filthy not what i expected from a 5 star hotel horrible experience however housekeeping came right away and clened and vacuumed everything we went to bed at 3am after a 17 hor flight

I chose it because it’s a Swiss brand, expecting Swiss quality. But unfortunately it’s a big let down. 1 location: its far away from major attractions. The biggest problem is it’s on a major artery with heavy traffic. Implication: taxi drivers refuse to go its direction or would charge you 3-3x the usual fare. Eg. From holiday inn Old city to this Mövenpick it costed 600 lira = 20$. To give you an idea; from the airport to old city a journey of 67 km my fare was 900 = 30 $. Forget about public transit because you can’t have any information about the time schedule or where it goes as a tourist. 2. One of the reasons I chose Swiss Brand is for cleanness. Alas, I found rampant mold in the shower room.( see photos) in both the rooms I stayed. The room was a small definitely not the size they claim to be 20 m: 14 m² tops.(see photos for yourself.) there was no gym, no swimming pool, the kind of perks that you ‘s expect from a five-star hotel. 3. The property is right on a major heavy traffic street so the noise is a major issue. If you’re on the lower floor you won’t be able to sleep well. Overall, it is an OK hotel but definitely not worth the number of the stars it claims. I have stayed in many more than peak hotels this one is definitely not among the better ones.

Our room was super old for a 5 star hotel. The AC was not working so it got super hot at night. The bathroom faucet seemed to be broken and it wouldn’t turn off after multiple tries. Also, the chairs in our room had stains on it. We stayed there for a night so we did not contact guest services however this is not expected of a 5 star hotel given the high rates. The shuttle service provided by the hotel to site seeing is great but the shuttle driver dropped us off about 30 minutes away from the actual site and we struggled to find the area we were going to bc we were dropped off at a random street due to traffic in the area. I don’t think if I will ever return to the specific hotel due to my experience. Also, the hotel is pretty far from touristic sites so if you plan on doing more of touristy things I would encourage you to look at other hotels near Hagia Sophia/ blue mosque area as those are much better.

The overall stay was great. The hotel is clean and the staff is nice (specially Omer and Aysa during breakfast), except for one staff member: the man who stands outside the “welcome” guests. I didn’t get his name, but he was on the shift of Tuesday November 19 at 2:45pm when I arrived to the hotel. The taxi driver I had taken from Sabiha airport unexpectedly asked for 520 Turkish Lira in tolls (15 USD, which even in the US is a lot lol) in addition to the 1.280 TL fee and he didn’t show me proof that he had paid this much in tolls. When I asked for proof he was screaming at me, and then the taxi driver spoke to this Movenpick employee in turkish and I don’t know what he said but the employee was very rude, he sided with the driver and started arguing with me and then at some point he tried closing the taxi door on me and said “fine, go to the police station with him”. This is unacceptable from a five star hotel employee and very unprofessional. You do not close the car door on your guests and talk to them like that. I ended up paying the toll fees obviously and the taxi driver AND the Movenpick employee were wrong because when I left on Sunday from Movenpick to Sabiha airport I paid ONLY 130 TL in tolls!

Both my wife and I had a very good experience by all means. Service we very good and was worth every penny. Staff were amazing: very helpful and very warm. I remember some of the names in addition to the manager haydar: Salatin, Mert, Mehmet Nahail ... sorry if I spelled any of them incorrectly or if I missed any names. I strongly recommend other tourists to experience this hotel. For sure, in my next visit to Istanbul, I will choose it to stay.

Wonderful Stay and Excellent Service We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Everything was spotless, the service was top-notch, and the food was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the breakfast chef who remembered our request from the first day and prepared it for us every morning without asking. The hotel was beautiful the staff so friendly when you arrive. They are very helpful with all your needs. The view of the golden horn is beautiful. Short taxi drive to Hagia Sophia and other popular attractions Did lots of site seeing and shopping. I would recommend staying at there hotel. The food was delicious from breakfast lunch and dinner.

Otel gayet güzel ve sessiz. Manzarası hoş. Check in de kahve ikram ettiler hoşuma gitti. İki önerim var içme suyu için ikram az ve yarım litreden fazlası extraya giriyor. Otel Restoranı 1. Katta odaya yemek siparişi için odada herhangi bir menü yoktu. Telefondan da resepsiyondaki arkadaşlara tüm menüyü saydırmak onlara eziyet olurdu. Teras katında Arça restoranı pek beğenmedim yemek porsiyonu küçük, lezzeti ortalama o fahiş fiyatlara göre.

Fiziksel şartlar çok iyi. Oda konforlu ve temiz. Banyo modern. Ama restoranın yemek lezzetini beğenmedim. Ayrıca kahvaltı çeşitlerini yetersiz buldum. Örneğin her kahvaltıda olan börek, kek yoktu.
