Extremely helpful hotel staff with excellent English language skills across the board. Came across as very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious, and the addition of the coin op laundry was extremely welcome (some other accommodations we stayed at had in-room laundry, but the capacity in those was extremely limited; the coin-op was well worth it). If I had one complaint about this, it was that the Shinsaibashi area was maybe a better fit for young adults than for traveling around with kids. It's very much an area with an active nightlife that's pretty dead in the morning time. Although the hotel is very close to the nagahoribashi subway station, that line is not well connected to your main routes - expect to walk frequently to the Shinsaibashi subway station when going out and about.

The hotel is conveniently located near Dotonburi area and has restaurants and convenience shops just stone throw away. The room was well equipped and very clean! We stayed in the family apartment and though it wasn’t huge, there was just enough space and cosy enough for us all. There were 2 toilets which were really helpful. And they were spacious! The beds were also super comfy! Hotel provided coins for us to exchange them for snacks/sake. Front desk staff was very helpful and responsive to queries even before our stay.

It was our first time staying at a Mimaru and we had a wonderful time. The room was beautiful and clean for our family of 5. The hotel is walking distance to Kuromon market and Dotonbori. There are also subway lines about a 5 minute walk away and a Family Mart just a couple steps away. It is also very easy to have luggage transported to and from the hotel. (There is a Yamato Transport across the street.) There’s also a laundry facility downstairs that is open to the public. One washer and one dryer is reserved for Mimaru guests. We had a wonderful stay in Osaka

The apartment was spacious for the 5 of us. The kitchenette was well stocked with utensils. The daily change of towels, and disposal of rubbish, made our 5 days stay comfortable and a pleasure. The coin laudromat on the ground floor has many machines, which makes laundry easy.

We stayed for 5 nights at Mimaru Shinsaibashi East - it was the largest hotel room we've ever been in Japan. The rooms were clean, tasteful, and they thought of everything - I especially loved that you could rent items like an Apple TV, UNO cards etc. They also gave you coins to redeem for little things like sake tastings and snacks which was very fun. The hotel is centrally located and surrounded by eateries, convenience stores and it's around the corner from a 24hour supermarket - it's a really great option for a family. It is a short 5 minute walk from the main Shinsaibashi shopping strip, and 10 minutes to the Glico man. I would definitely try to stay here again when I come back to Osaka!

It was new building and felt very safe all the security and police station across from the street . Train station near by but don’t have elevator so you have to carry suits are up stair . 2 family mart near by. Restrants every where and front desk and everyone working there were amazing. We wanted to late check 1pm paid $5000 they can keep your luggage also that was very nice ! Landry place was huge and 24 hrs was so nice !

お部屋も接客も素晴らしかったです‼️ 今まで色々な所に泊まって来ましたが、部屋の作りは、子供達も大喜びで大変満足なお部屋でした。備品やサービスも有り難かったです。一つだけ難点は、カーペットは汚れています。大人はスリッパを履いたので大丈夫でしたが、裸足でいた子どもは足裏が真っ黒になりました。スリッパは必須と考えられます。

Property was clean and minimalistic. Walkable distance from several metro stations. Restaurants and cafe across the street and around the corner. 10-15min taxi from Namba station where you can train to airport KIX. Rooms were large enough for 2+2, with a separate toilet and a dining table to seat all 4 comfortably. My level had 4 rooms, and a single lift for all 12 floors. Wasn’t high traffic. Water refill at ground level. Will try another Minaru branch next time if I go back to Japan.

I really enjoyed the tatame sleeping area and the size of the bathrooms. The refrigerator, nice sized sink and eating area in the kitchen made it very convenient for my family and I. I would recommend this to others!

The rented a family room. It was very spacious. Definitely the most spacious place we stayed in while on vacation. Coming from the US most places were a bit tighter than in the US. The kitchen was quite well stocked with cutlery needs and pots and pans. Very clean.

The size of the room was perfect for my group of 3. Fridge, microwave, and other kitchen ware all got used. Made it feel like a home. It was also a few minutes from Dotonbori which we spent a ton of time at. Made it very easy to pop in and out if we bought anything we didn’t want to carry. Lady at the front was super nice too!

Our family stayed here for our recent family trip. The location is simply fantastic, super near 2 train stations. The hotel is clean and spacious, and staff can speak English well. What made us even more impressed was that my child fell sick on one of the days, it was late around 8pm when I called the front desk. The staff on duty Sandra came to our room to guide us through and revommend a clinic to us. She was patient and helpful. The next morning, the staff on morning duty Yuni (i think i could have spelt wrongly, apologies), helped me call the clinic and got an appointment for us. Such gestures really made us more assured and it goes to show how excellent the service is. Good job Mimaru! Thank you so much!

Hotel was great for the value, spacious rooms. Great for families or even couples who just want a little more space than other hotels offer. Staff at Mimaru Shinsaibashi East was wonderful. We had an early flight and needed transportation big enough for 2 families and they immediately called a taxi service for us and reserved the transportation for us.

The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. However, the front desk leaves at 10pm, leading the hotel unattended overnight. Also, the laundry room is open 24 hours and doors open to the public to the street. Although you need a key card to get back in to hotel and up the stairs, it’s not difficult for someone to tag along to go up to the hotel. I felt unsafe to learn there are multiple entry point up with no one attending the hotel overnight.

Very nice Japanese apartment. Spacious- after opening four luggages, there is still plenty of room for kids to play around. Safe - a police station is opposite to the property, feel very safe. Convenient- just 5 min walk to Shisaibashi.
