Cambria Hotel Manchester South Windsor

Property was in a hood place very clean and neat. My only issue was pool is not that big they book so many people n pool get really crowded to the point u dnt have space to swim very uncomfortable. Other then that it was a good stay wish they can do better with the pool situation

Very nice hotel! Friendly staff. Loved the layout of the room, spacious bathroom and shower. Nice outdoor area with fire pits. The pool area also looked very nice although we didn't use it as we were only there 1 night. Will definitely stay again when we're in the area

The room was great and house keeping was on point. The staff was really nice and helpful. Sad that the pool was under maintenance but overall the stay was great and love to stay there again.

Everything was good except the Saturday morning we were going to have breakfast and was told that the staff had not come to work today, so there was no breakfast. Saturday afternoon we came back to the hotel and found that there were no parking spots for the guests. There were people who were taking up 2 spaces for their truck and 2 other spaces to play cornhole. We mentioned this to the front desk and they said that someone had previously complained about the parking spots. I was told that they would be leaving around 9pm so that there would be spaces then. That to me was unacceptable as we were in for the evening.

The Hotel is good But wen I first I arrived at the hotel for my four anniversary on April 4 I was told the pool was on maintenance that I Will be open the next day when down the next day to go to the pool I was a sign that said that the pool was closed for maintenance construction and they would be open on April 8 why did not tell me this before I booked the hotel :( I choose this hotel for my 4 year anniversary and I wanted to use the pool that’s why I reserved this one The front desk people they horrible a lady names Maddie she look like she don’t wanna work there at all not even a smile not even good morning I asked her about the breakfast Because I was thinking they have complementary breakfast she was so rude like oh you’re the four people that asked me the same question the only one that was so nice i was the guy that worked there when I first got there on April 4 but I don’t remember his name he was so nice but beside him all the front desk people They are so rude and then have the long faces like they didn’t wanna be there. So sad because is a nice hotel but for the price no free breakfast and no pool and nobody said anything about the inconvenience and they never apologized for it RUDE. They costumer service there is really bad your guy need new friendly people My Anniversary was supposed to be perfect but I was not:(

Amazing stay. Clean room, comfortable bed and general spaces, modern hotel they thought of every convenience you may need, I was wowed by the design. The main areas are kept in good order. The gym and pool are clean. Upon checking in the staff was friendly, the check-in was fast which is appreciated after a long day. The evening female front desk manager was superb she made sure we were comfortable while sitting out in the patio, she was attentive and accommodating. She addressed some concerns swiftly with the upmost professionalism. Overall the entire staff from the bartender, maintenance, cleaning thank you all. Truly the best stay in along time. We will definitely be back.

The warm swimming pool water was an absolute blessing. I cannot tell you how many details I have stayed and have not gone into the pool with my kids because the water is freezing cold. After traveling 14 hours coming into this hotel with such a nice warm temperature in the water Punto was a blessing. I will definitely come back.

Overall great stay. One complaint. When the shower fogged, i saw a big hand print. Yuck! I went and got some gloves and cleaning products and cleaned that bathroom and hotel room. Another big hand print was on the window as well. Gross.

We stayed for 4 nights and were very disappointed. First of all, we got a handicapp room. It was bigger, which was nice, but clearly hadn't been attended to at all. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower were ALL empty. The shower head was very high on the wall and the water was a stream. The toilet seat was not screwed down, so it moved when trying to sit on it. The Kleenex box was empty. The coffee station wasn't restocked. The hot water and cold water faucet was reversed. And in the bathroom, it was very dark over the mirror and hard to see. When we checked in, they didn't tell us we didn't get our room serviced daily unless we asked, so we were very surprised that when we got back the first day, our room wasn't take care of, especially since the shower bottles were empty. When we asked the front desk, they had HUGE attitude toward us and said we were supposed to ask!!! The entire staff seemed to have negatitive attitudes. I wonder why that is. The only person who was really nice was Jessica, the bartender. She was accommodating and very nice It is a shame as we stay at Cambria hotels all the time, but this experience was poor!!!

A fantastic stay in an extremely clean, well layed out property.

It was nice overall. Just wish the rooms would be clean once a day. But other than that I enjoyed my stay,

I returned to my room after being out all day and the room was not cleaned. I was told by the front desk that the rooms are only cleaned by request and that the cleaning staff was already gone for the day. If that is your policy, that's something you should let people know when they check in!

Free coffee would have been nice. Bed was comfortable. Room was spotless!

Great hotel. Only issue was having to ask for new towels and toilet paper. We were there 6 nights so thought someone would have come in to refresh. Other than that an excellent stay and we never had breakfast, so couldn’t rate that. Thank you!

There is almost no one ever acually waiting at the front desk. Often times you have to wait for someone to show up, or notice you're there. Upon check out last time, I waited for probably 7 minutes or so for someone to notice we were there and a line started forming. Someone finally came by and the person behind us just cut in front of us and nothing was said by staff that there's a line of people waiting. It would be nice if the room came with some waters or something even for purchase, I've requested this and it never worked. We have stayed here 3 times and every time the TV has never worked properly. They must have a satellite because random channels will say "no signal" and sometimes they work for a short time. As someone who typically only stays one night, that is a big part of the functionality i am looking for. The rooms themselves are well appointed, clean, and new. That is continually why we pick this place.

This hotel would’ve gotten five stars without any question, but for the Internet and TV service. We really needed to have reliable Internet, and it was anything but. More often than not, I had to use my hotspot to connect my computer and do necessary business for which I was traveling. Not only that, but the TV seldom worked for the same reason. I would say it was out at least a third of the time, if not more. Unacceptable. Excellent staff, beautiful rooms, but without Internet or TV? I’d say three stars is generous. They need to fix it.

The beds are super comfortable. The rooms were so clean and they have a rain shower. It was glorious

This hotel was amazing except for how easily noise carried between rooms and from hallway.

We were put in a room close to the lobby and it was pretty loud until 2am and you can hear everything.

Initial reapinse is the room was beautiful. I liked the set up and privacy of the bedroom from the common space. But when i entered the temperature in the room was 85 degrees and took hours to cool down once i was able to get the ac on. Saturday the temperature was climbing even when i had the ac on set to 66. At 80 degrees i called the front desk to be told that that unit is hot because of the windows.

All was great aside from the fact the shower drained so slow that you had to stand in around 3-4 inches of water while showering! Maintenance was not there at the time we figured this out.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. Room layout was different but very functional.

I was charged twice incorrectly and I have the receipt, they did not refund me and I checked out 1 day early because my room was not cleaned as I requested several times.

This is second year in a row that I have used Cambria in Evergreen Walk for our Thanksgiving trip. This is also the second year in a row the front desk has overcharged me and taken every single penny out of my bank account due to "technical difficulties". I dont know if theyre benefitting from these overcharges and refunds somehow or if they're actually just that incompetent. Either way, I am dumbfounded and regretful that I allowed this situation to happen a second time. Learned my lesson, will not be booking with Cambria south windsor again.

Staff was not attentive. Nobody at front desk when checking in. Had to wait.

The hotel service exceeded my expectations, especially the front desk receptionists who were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to my needs. Their professionalism made checking in a breeze. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was immaculate, with every area spotless and well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. The attention to detail in both the service and the environment truly made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest.

The front desk gentleman is always so nice! I stay here semi often and he always remembers me and is so kind! The beds are sooo comfortable!

Cannot possibly describe the insolence and horrific customer service of this hotel. They couldn’t get us into our room on time and acted as if our concern over that was an outrage. The “manager” WALKED AWAY across the lobby and watched the TV, ignoring us when we complained. Desk staff was rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. Such a shame as the property is very nice.

Front desk staff was awesome and went above and beyond to check on me if there was anything I needed during my stay.

Should be condemned. Sheets were never change, had blood on them when I pulled them back Moldy, no closets, no shower curtain, no iron and iron board. Archaic heating/AC. Refuse to give me my money back, and laughed at me for attempted to do so

Great location off highway, yet quiet. Near shopping and dining locations. This is my second time staying there. Will definitely be back.

Nice hotel; very clean and modern. The area in which the hotel is located is a big shopping and entertainment area, so handy if you are looking to shop or go out to eat while there.

Everything was very nice and clean. One thing I have notice about the hotel was there are cameras in the hall ways. I did like that. The lay out of the room was different in a good way. I like there is microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom is nice size. The staff was very helpful and nice. The location of the hotel is in a great spot right near the mall along with several restaurants and shopping center that are all in walking distance. The only con that I would say was on their website it states they serve breakfast however it doesn’t include that it’s for purchase. Which made me under the impression that it was complementary. When we were told it wasn’t we still went to eat at the hotel however the food to us was a bit on the expensive side for simple breakfast.

The entire staff were amazing. The bar staff took really good care of me. The food from the restaurant was really good. I was expecting a little more jerk seasoning on the jerk chicken alfredo but it was still very tasty. The chicken and waffles were good as well…would have been really good if the waffles were a little less sweet. Overall though I would book again and sit at the bar and have a really good meal!!

Room was super trendy and cute and clean. Stayed during a snowstorm so was disappointed to learn upon arrival that the restaurant was closed. We were banking on eating there and not having to leave once settled in. One would think the staff were given option to room and board in order to be open for business during the storm but I guess not. Another issue was the fire alarm going off causing us to have to evacuate the premises in the snowstorm. They was super inconvenient as well.

Great experience Was there for a conference and stayed an additional night. Great bar, good food- could have used one additional lounge server so bar tender didn’t have to cover both spaces (especially when housing folks for a conference, karate event, and cheer event)

They need better breakfast options and the cooks and restaurant needs assistance

I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time at the Cambria Hotel. The dinner was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to order food. Just note that the breakfast is not included which I didn’t mind. I thought it was expensive for what I paid for. Dinner costed $36 with two entrees. Breakfast costed $40 and it was a potato bowl which was 10/10. The other breakfast was French toast which was two slices cut in half for $17. Overall I would not order the breakfast again because the area is filled with better breakfast options.

Nice rooms, new and modern. Food in the restaurant was excellent. We had the steak frites for dinner - best steak we've ever had!
