Fabulous location only 10-15 minutes walk to Tahunanui Beach which is very tidal but safe for children as at 2 hours off high tide is not too deep for children to enjoy a swim. There is a shower and tap near the Beach cafe for showering off sand after our swim. Our 2 bedroom unit is lovely with sliding door opened to let in the sea breeze on a hot sunny day and picnic table outside to enjoy a beer and dinner in the warm evening sun. The receptionists are so friendly and welcoming. As we had arrived 1/2 an hour before check in time, my husband and I went to the beach and had an ice cream at the Beach café which is a popular place to stop off. The holiday park gets the aeroplane noise from Nelson airport, the planes fly overhead but it is not too intrusive although, the first flight this morning was at 6 o’clock which is fine if you are early risers so for me, this is not an issue at all. It seems perfect for families with a wonderful playground and lovely grassy area still busy with motor homes and caravans despite the season finishing with the return of children to school. Heated towel rail and plunger coffee provided definitely impressed me as many places do not provide either. Fishy at Roto, a recommended fish and chip shop for an easy dinner is only 3 minutes drive away. Highly recommended place for a relaxing stay in Nelson, so close to Tāhunanui Beach.

We enjoyed our family stay here for 2 nights, and would stay again if in the area. Our 2 bedroom apartment site was clean and roomy, and the park had everything to keep our son entertained. We'd recommend to others!

A deluxe NZ Holiday Park. Loved our studio for four and especially the play facilities for kids and beach walks for sunrise and sunset. Kids on the flying fox and jumping pillow most of the time. A family game of mini golf was fun and nice having a proper coffee at the cafe. Unit was perfect for a short getaway and prepared our own meals. Location really can't be beat. We would love to come again.

They made late check-in super easy due to our flight coming in late. Convenient, clean and comfortable premises, we had an apartment motel unit which was roomy and warm with all the amenities and fantastic parking... the whole family was happy. Excellent place to stay we had a motel room right by the playground, it was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to lots of coffee shops and eateries. Wish we could have stayed longer but was unfortunately booked out for the rest of our stay.

We checked in late, gate code didn't work, but the after hour attendant was able to get us in. It was a little hard to find our room in the dark but we eventually found it (they gave Decent instructions on the check in map but the parking spot paint number was faded out) The room was decent, carpet had some sticky candy residue, but overall clean. Would love to visit again and explore the holiday park more. The park is directly on the flight path of the airport and offers so great low flying viewing (noise too).

La atención que nos dieron en todo momento fue fantástica, las personas fueron muy amables y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos. El hospedaje fue genial, bien equipado y muy cómodo. Encontramos varios insectos dentro de él, ese fue el único pero ya que todo lo demás estuvo muy bien. Está alejado del centro de Nelson, a unos 6,5 kilómetros, pero es un lugar muy tranquilo, si quieres comprar algunas cosas tienen su propio negocio o bien se puede caminar unos 15 minutos para llegar a un almacén y botillería.

We stayed in a studio unit which was immediately adjacent to the estuary and the view was magnificent. Air-conditioning in the unit was very much appreciated as well. Cooking facilities in the unit were basic but very clean and new.

Very surprised at the sheer size of the campground. Excellent location and great places to walk surrounded by water. Accommodation great. Quiet, apart from the planes flying overhead as it is in such close proximity to the airport. Didn't bother us though, loved it.

Amazing experience here - we would happily return. The beds were SOOO comfy, the room so warm, and the staff were absolutely lovely. We did have a battle with the wifi, even after paying a small fee to upgrade package. But it was just too comfy!
