My recent stay here wasn't terrible, it was quiet and fairly decent, within the same area of restaurants and convenience stores, the plumbing fixtures could use an update but we're in functioning order, has good hot water, we got a room with a jacuzzi and overall it was comfortable and safe, air condition worked good, no one bothered us, you're right down the street from a food Lion as well as a few restaurants or convenience stores, they do serve a breakfast but we slept in so I'm not sure about that. There was some streaks on the mirrors and they could have paid attention to detail a bit more on the clean up,I think that would help this place a lot but all in all for a hundred bucks a night you can't beat it for all the things around. I would stay here again for sure.

Affordable and convenient. I’d say it was well worth the price. Cleaning could be better, but there was no horrid mess. Having a room with a jacuzzi in it was super, especially after a long day of hiking. There could be more breakfast options, but still better than nothing and was reasonable for the price of the rooms. Staff is helpful and professional/informative. Overall it was a good stay. We stayed for 2 nights with last minute reservation and didn’t find any huge issues with anything.

The room had a jetted tub with plenty of hot water and powerful jets. I had a good night's rest in a bed with a memory foam mattress. Bed and bathroom linens were clean. Everything worked. It was quiet. Most of all, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider future stays at this hotel.

The entrance off road was difficult. Breakfast had a very long line, ran out of coffee. Toilet/sink back up at 3AM, came up thru sink leaving gross stuff. The gurgles continued rest of stay. Topd front desk, and I got a "sorry". Traffic was also loud

The staff was nice. The room was okay. But it was very noisy. Thin walls and loud kids and TVS . The bed was so hard that it hurt to sleep on it. The pillows were so small and thin it was impossible to get comfortable. On a card in the room it describes the breakfast as having all these wonderful things to eat. I went to get my food and there were some white bread a couple muffins cold cereal but no milk. The fridge was empty. I asked for some fresh fruit and he said sorry it’s all gone and we forgot to buy some. There were apples with brown spots on them and bad spots. I ask where the gravy and biscuits were and he said that they had never offered that. But the card in my room said they did as well as a huge selection of pastries and fresh fruit. Worst breakfast I ever saw. We left and went to Cracker Barrel. Oh, they are remodeling. Boxes everywhere. Definitely need some help

This hotel is a little old but in decent condition. No overtly bad problems noted. The carpet didn’t feel the cleanest. The walls in the shower had a couple spots of dirt on them. Very close to interstate which can be good but noisy at night- I needed white noise to sleep. Overall good for the price point. Mattress quite firm, not the most comfy but I slept alright. When it says 2 beds, they mean full sized, NOT queen

My biggest complaint is that my room was very noisy. I could hear whoever was above me walking around and their water running anytime they turned it on. There was a lot of street noise because it is close to the highway, and there was noise coming from the hallway. Sheets were stained, and the shower was not completely clean. Front desk staff was very nice for check in and out.

Filthy. The shower, bathroom mirror, and toilet, all filthy. The towels had brown stains on them and I brought them down to be replaced and they REFUSED to give me a new washcloth. I couldn't believe it. I don't think they employee cleaning staff as I saw the night desk clerk cleaning rooms. Spend an extra $20 and go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, our stay was less than satisfactory. The room was dirty and smelled like smoke. The breakfast options were very poor. When we stayed here the last time it wasn’t that bad but now it has a lot of issues. The hotel most definitely needs work done, painting and a deep cleaning.

Had a supposedly non-smoking room but it smelt like smoke the minute I walked in. The curtains were about to fall down (rod pulling out wall), microwave squealed, and refrigerator leaked. Hotel had a weird smell when you first entered the building.

Our room was not clean There was a rubber glove on the floor in the bathroom and the carpet was dirty and the room smelled musty. The bed needs a new mattress. Both my wife and I rolled to the center of a king mattress when we laid down, not very comfortable.

This hotel was an interesting juxtaposition between old and new. It clearly needs updating. State of the art TV and comfortable bed. At one time there must have been a chair in the corner and now a gaping hole. Great coffee yet the breakfast was inedible. Poor offerings and clearly the workers staying at the hotel ate it all very early. We only drank coffee due to lack of hot food. Accommodating front desk staff. Antiquated shower head and tub was losing finish. Dripping faucet in shower. Would not choose this hotel again.

Man at the desk was rude on several occasions, at check in and check out. The bathroom was dirty. Dust on the sink and toothpaste spots on the mirror. I cleaned it up myself because I didn’t want to interact with him at all. He didn’t want to give me a receipt at check out, told me he would email it. Still nothing a week later. I don’t trust that he won’t try to charge me for something extra even though I took out my own trash and cleaned the room myself! This was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve had staying at a hotel. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that you cannot bring your breakfast back to the room. You have to eat in the lobby. I will not be back.

I had booked a room and already paid for it. When I showed up to check in they told me they had overbooked and didn't accept my payment so they didn't have a room for me. No notification, no offer of any kind, no sorry, no nothing. Just that I needed to contact Expedia for a refund. A refund because i had already paid for my room and was told there's another hotel up the road, ONLY because i asked what I'm supposed to do now. I travel a lot and have never had this happen and to be handled with so little care or even a notification BEFORE I arrived at the hotel. Awful.

They did NOT have any power OR water when I got there. They had certainly not let people know that fact. I did not stay after driving for 3 hours. I finally found another hotel and got into a room now, at 3:30 A.M. I've never been more disappointed. I should not be held accountable to pay for this booking when I did not stay there. The managers told me they were only open for people with extreme situations, like there home had been destroyed.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the price. The employees were kind and helpful. The room was comfortable for our one night stay. I wouldn't count on a variety for breakfast as it seemed to be just 2 cereal choices, bread for toast and a waffle maker, but for the price, I can't complain. Overall, I would stay again for the price.

Very nice and clean for an older hotel. I like the rules and security procedures, it will help keep the rif raf away. Management seriously needs to improve the breakfast. Two yogurts in the fridge, no waffle batter, one muffin, no bagels or English muffins.
