Floors were sticky. You can hear constant doors slamming from other guests. Fire alarms sometimes go off because of steam from the shower. Water pressure is low and temperature takes like 15-20 minutes to warm up. Beds are comfortable though.

This is a great value hotel, in a wonderful location in the lower east side. The room and amenities were all clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though you’re in a loud part of town I found you couldn’t hear much from outside. The rooftop is a bonus too. I would definitely stay here again next time I come back.

Staff were great. Room was a bit shabby and rough around the edges, but not dirty or messy. Just used (furniture and curtains were a bit old and showing it). Views were great. Nice, simple rooftop. Rooms are tiny, but not surprising. Great location (near shops, food, subway, etc).

We stayed at the Orchard Street Hotel in July of 2025 and were very pleased with our room. In April of 2026, the room seemed to have some sort of water damage. The window treatments were dirty and looked like they were damaged. The window in the bathroom was also open when we arrived. The stay was adequate, but just not what we expected after our first experience.
