Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Wayne Southwest

We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the quiet surroundings.

It was close to my aunts house and staff were friendly. I didn't like that the wifi was down for my entire stay and the pool was closed also.

Clean. Nice workers. Nice fitness center.

I recently stayed at this property with my teenage daughter for a sports competition. The property is clean, though currently undergoing some refurbishment (which is a good sign of commitment to quality, in my opinion). The hotel has ample parking, is set back from the street so is quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable; bed were firm (which I like). My only two pieces of constructive feedback are, first, there was a little bit of mold on the grout in the shower. Not a lot but would easily be taken care of with a slightly deeper cleaning. Second, the lighting in the bathroom was a little lax for such a big space. Otherwise, it was a very acceptable and afforable overnight stay. I would definitely visit this hotel again.

First off the service at the counter is awful. Pool was closed due to issues with chemicals. Breakfast closed 30 minutes before it should have. Found a lot of black bugs or dots on the bed sheets. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Very nice and clean and staff at checkin was friendly. But not happy about the pool being closed, big reason why we picked this hotel.

The room and everything was fine. My biggest concern is that we booked a family trip to use the pool and the temperature of the water ended up being freezing and unusable. Otherwise, I think it's a standard Fairfield in and everything else was fine.

The property is very secure and safe. Its clean and comfortable as well. This is my go to when I come to town.

This hotel is in a good location, mostly nice. But….my shower curtain was covered in mildew and mold. Kind of killed the experience.

We did stitch the room the second night but felt we should have been refunded for the dirt night since we were only there 6 hours before switching. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut because the door was swelling. There looked to be blood on the side walls of the bathroom as well .

Front desk lady was very nice and helpful. We arrived late close to midnight she was friendly and ready to help. The hotel and room was clean and had all the things we needed. It smelled good too!!! Looked to be fairly updated.

This particular Hotel is a favorite of mine. It is always clean and the staff is always polite and professional. The problem I had with this visit and I thought it was concerning...was that the main lock on the entry door did not work (Room 314) and the bathroom door lock did not work. I stayed in the room anyway due to being ill. I informed the staff upon check out and I hope the issues will be fixed for the next guest.

Nice clean room, delicious well maintained breakfast. We are happy to find a hotel that is NOT pet friendly. It is getting harder to find. We will very happily stay here again and again.

Cleanliness was horrible. A complete pair of socks were found in a bed. Water was in the ice bucket. Disgusting. No relieft in payment has been offered for such a horrible and disgusting experience.

Bugs in the bathroom, shower was disgusting and the window curtains had brown stuff all over the bottom. Gross.

Great night in a clean and quiet room.

It was fine but overpriced. The "hot" items at the breakfast bar were cold and stale. The TV in the room didn't work (couldn't find input and remote didn't work). The front desk did offer to come up and check it out but we didn't bother since we were only there one night

I stayed 2 weeks in a row in different rooms. Both rooms the sinks were clogged. The first week someone went into my room and my drawer was open. I called the front desk to ask if someone had gone in my room. They said that maid service may have took a peek because I had no service needed. Well they didn’t take the garbage but I my drawer was opened. They said the manger would call but no one ever did. The location was convenient for my work but I wouldn’t stay there. I

The young lady that checked us in at midnight was an absolute angel! She was sweet and extremely helpful.

Paid in advance but stil a hassel to check in. Refused to accept my Chime Credit Card for incidentals, as they no longer accept any chime cards. Maybe they should display on Hotels.com or their own website "No Chime Cards Accepted". Needless to say I didn't have $250.00 in cash forba cash deposit so after arguing with the front desk clerk and manager, the manager finally accepted the card with the condition of charging a preauthorization of $150.00 (normally it is only $20.00, but since I have chime it was equal to one night stay), which the unused portion will be refunded in 2 to 3 weeks. Finally, after getting to my room after 20 minutes of trying to check in, within an hour, I had housekeeping knocking on my door twice, then kids running up & down the hall knocking on everyones door the running down the stairs. All was quiet from 6pm until now as I write this review at 3am, while I am sitting on the couch in the hotel room, because my someone just started banging on my door then shoved my receipt underneath the door. I'm willing to be if I had an unsecured Visa / MC / Discover / AMX CC, that this hotel would have treated me like GD royalty. To sum it up, first & last time I am staying here at this particular Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Front desk staff was amazing!! So friendly and made everything so easy!! Best hotel stay I’ve had in a long time.

The staff was amazing, from checking with Jazmin to checking out with Orville(don't remember the name he uses). Even though I didn't use housekeeping they were on the floor everyday and offered their services. The breakfast in the mornings was good and they switched it up each morning I stayed there. Would recommend friends and family to stay here and I'll definitely stay when I'm in Fort Wayne again.

Hard to identify the entrance. Seems like they would have more information closer to the main entrance.

My stay was excellent clean.quiet and the staff was friendly.The breakfast could use some upgrading but descent.
