Staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Morning coffee, tea kettle requested and in the room, comfortable for our whole group. Bathroom door was difficult to slide open, with a handle only on the outside, so this may be an issue if anyone has limitations in strength or dexterity. Rooms were quiet, even on the 4th floor where we were. Location is great to 34th St/Herald Sq station, maybe 5 minute walk. Will stay again!

Stayed 1 night

Came back to my room to find the door open and signs that someone else had been in the room while I was gone- items and trash left and things moved. Luckily, none of my things were stolen, but it was frightening, as someone traveling alone. When I went to the front desk to report the issue, they didn't seem to know anything about it- I could have understood if the room was accidentally double booked, but they couldn't explain why my room door was open and someone else had been in it. They offered me another room, but at that point, it seemed like a security issue, and again, as someone traveling alone, it did not feel safe to stay there. I would never stay at this hotel again and would caution anybody traveling alone from staying here as well. Hotels.com has also been unable to get in touch with the property to address this and get my stay refunded.
