Great place to stay. We were looking for somewhere a little closer to town but nothing available….. Then saw Nox Hotel was available just up the road a little…. We just missed the bus in to town so ended up walking and it wasn’t far anyways. Super easy Parking, nice room, yummy Breakfast. Staff were very friendly, and we had a very nice dinner in the restaurant the 2nd night :) Would recommend

The hotel is situated near an industrial part of town with limited dining options. The restaurant on site is great and makes up for it. There is a Dunns shopping centre neaby for any supplies needed. Local calling seems to be a bit of a mystery but with the assistance of a staff member was accomplished. Great value for money. Some lighting in to common areas (entrance and halls) would be appreciated. Now it looks dark and leads you to think that it is dirty. Fully accessible. A recycle bin in the rooms would be a good idea. This is a gem and I would recommend it.

Nice, modern decor, on outskirts of city with ample free parking. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Reasonably priced and varied menu from the on site restaurant and bar. Accessible bathroom provided for one able bodied person was not a great experience.

Perfect location to be able to walk to city and back (15-20 minutes) but not have to be in city centre. Great employees who are more than willing to accommodate your requests. Lovely common spaces to have a nightcap, afternoon bell or anything in between. Highly recommend.

Area towards front of hotel was a very nice indoor space to chill and wait for transport. Only one elevator for guests and staff created waits. Limited counterspace in bathroom.

We've been driving Ireland for a week and this was such a lovely stay. Pristine property & building, excellent staff, great breakfast and dinner at Fork. Room was comfortable, clean, spacious and had everything you could need except tissues. A minor oversight. Laundry service was also offered, which after a week we needed, and they did everything as asked. Such a respite after put last stop, will definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a consistent problem training the cleaning staff to provide the right supplies to each room. The problem continued over the 3 days we stayed here. No soap, no facial tissues, plugged sink and toilet, dark hallways (can't see the door), tiny bath towels, no "do not disturb" door signs (and then didn't respect them when we finally got one), no drinking water, etc. I don't usually review hotels and ignore small issues, but this place does not deserve the rating it currently has.

I got no sleep at all in the hotel due to a constant loud noise like a fan or pump right beside my bathroom. It was loud enough to keep me awake all night when I mentioned this to staff they didn’t even say sorry they just said you’ve paid up.

High-end feel without the price. Front desk personnel were friendly & helpful. Biggest issue, which is the case with most hotels in Ireland was the lack of air conditioning. Opening a window doesn’t offer much relief when there is no way to create circulation. Would suggest having fans in the room to help guests not be so uncomfortable. Or just spend the money & install something like wall air conditioner in each room. Overall nice hotel though.

The hotel was nice and clean. The room was large for Europe. It’s outside of Galway city center so you do need a car or taxi to get to the sight. Hotel staff were wonderful and accommodating. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was above average for what you typically think of. The only problem we had was that the toilet in our room was so weak you had to flush over and over and over.

Overall, it was a good stay. Bed was comfortable, staff was attentive. Breakfast was above average for a “comes with the room” situation. Biggest negative was lighting. Hallways were dark and not all motion sensors worked as you walked down the hallway. And the bathroom in our room would have benefited greatly with more lighting.

Hotel is very clean and has a really nice bar area. The room itself was also very nice. I just wish they had Air conditioning cause it was warm outside. Bed was comfy for a hotel bed. Would recommend.

Just reminded me of the service I used to receive before cut backs. The check in was effortless and everything after that was so easy and nice, not that we needed to ask for anything. The staff were fantastic!!!!

They do not care about the safety of their guests with food allergies. Extremely rude staff in the restaurant. The shower floor is very slippery. It is dangerous. They don't do housekeeping. Make sure you don't put your towels on the floor because you will be reusing them. They have tiny garbage cans that need to be emptied daily, but don't

we loved everything about this hotel. From checkin to checkout. Rooms are spacious and they have smart TV. The bar service from the ladies was awesome, especially from “Kara” so funny and engaging. Breakfast was very good and they had same day laundry service. Very close to downtown and the cab drivers are hilarious. Highly recommend this hotel 5 star all the way

Hospitality severely lacking. As a service industry person, I usually have a great repartee with fellow service people, and this was a shockingly cold and condescending reception. Out of the dozen hotels, resorts, and castles we stayed in throughout Ireland this was the only rotten apple

The Nox hotel is located on the outskirts of Galway which made it ideal for exploring the area. It is also a short drive into the city. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and personable. There is a great selection of food at the breakfast buffet. I stayed 5 nights in October

The bar was limited and the staff was rude and unable to make simple drinks like an Old Fashioned - restaurant manager in the evening was equally as rude. Breakfast was subpar at best - eggs were over cooked and the butter/oil used tasted old and burnt.

Just outside of town, but made for some good night's sleep and a bit or RnR. If you're driving Ireland, this is a great option as it's easy to get on the Motorways for Cliffs of Moher and other great sites in the area.

Convenient location on the outskirts of Galway City with free parking and easy transportation into the city center. As nice as it is to be in the middle of the action in Galway, the City Center is so congested anymore that staying just out of the fray can be helpful sometimes

This was a nice property but a bit of a walk to the tourist, shopping and restaurants area. We were all walkers and the way to walk to all the activities was a flat walk so that didn't effect us, but if you're not a walker you'd have to be adding costs for Uber or taxis to your stay. Otherwise we were very happy with this property and would stay here again.

This hotel is in a sort of industrial/business park area. It was great for parking, but otherwise unremarkable area. It was about a 1.5 mile walk into town along a fairly busy road. It is close to a Dunnes and a Tesco. The room was just fine if slightly shabby, but the bathroom was very dark and needs renovating. While we didn't love the hotel, we did love the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was hot and delicious - I found plenty of vegan options.

Stayed for six nights in September. Hotel offers modern decor, with many cosy seating areas to relax with a drink or a book, besides the comfortable dining room. The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The shower room suffered from being underlit, especially in the shower cubicle itself, and the water pressure wasn't really strong enough. The breakfasts were really good, with buffet service offering cooked options also. The staff were really helpful at all levels within the organisation, nothing seemed to be too much trouble: friendly and professional. We enjoyed the once/twice daily walk into the city, 20-25 mins each way, but realise that not everyone enjoys walking, so taxi-fares might have to be factored in. We had a great stay in a busy, buzzy city, Would thoroughly recommend.

We loved our stay at Nox Hotel. The room was very nice, clean, and quiet. The location is a bit far from central Galway but we had a car so it wasn't an issue. The food at the hotel was Exceptional!!!!! We ate dinner there both nights and were very impressed!

The lobby was really nice and the staff were welcoming. There were two problems. There was a large dark shampoo/soap dispenser affixed to the shower wall. Mid-shower I discovered that it was almost completely empty. I barely had enough soap for my body and couldn’t wash my hair. Terrible experience to not be able to finish my shower and as the dispenser was so large, it must have been a very long time since they checked something that should be checked and topped up after every changeover. Made me wonder what else they weren’t doing at changeover. The other problem was at breakfast they kept running out of food.

Liked the hotel but tour tourists were so many that they almost overwhelmed at breakfast. Not enough space. Some real advice the breakfast area is too cramped. You need to separate the coffee and continental stations from the hot. To give space.

Such a pretty and friendly Hotel! We stayed four nights, cozy rooms, comfy bed, netflix on the tv, coffee in the room, great room service etc. We had all our dinners at Fork restaurant. We loved everything they made for us! The burger was to die for, and the 40 oz Thomahawk Steak nearly killed us both (in a good way). The service was top notch, always professional and friendly. We will for sure miss this place. Thank you so much! We will for sure recomend this hotel to anybody who travel to Galway!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the floor in our room was wet, lot of noise in the night from other guests and shower/water going somewhere nearby. Breakfast had good selection but hot food was very greasy.
