Heritage Hotel Life Palace

The property is extremely charming. The service was inviting and polite. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The only thing to know is that there is no parking at the hotel. The hotel is in city center. A perfect location for the shops but a way to walk from the parking garage if you have large international suitcases.

This hotel has everything you need. The room was spacious, the location was second to none and the staff are very friendly. It’s also a short walk from the parking garage which was very handy.

It is centrally located in a characterful building, and is clean and generally modern inside (but the carpet in our room was very worn). However, we found it underwhelming after other heritage hotels in Croatia. We had a "superior" room which was very dark (just one small window). The deluxe rooms look much brighter, albeit they overlook the square, which is noisy at times. Do be aware if arriving by car that there is no parking nearby, and no vehicular access to the pedestrian zone. You have to walk there from a public car park, and there are a number of steps to access the hotel. We were rather misled about this by the hotel website. The parking is also expensive- at about 25 euros a day. The service was really what let the hotel down. On the pluses, the guy who served us breakfast (which was lovely) was great and the morning female receptionist was charming. The male receptionist we dealt with most of the time was offhand- a few apologies about the parking situation, lack of hair conditioner (odd for a four star hotel), and broken jacuzzi would have gone a long way but were sadly lacking. That said, Krk national park was amazing and the old town in Šibenik has some wonderful restaurants. So if centrality is a must then this might be the hotel for you. If service and amenities are more important, then there will be better options.

This hotel is really, really, cute and the people who work there are incredibly kind, giving it a bed-and-breakfast vibe. It’s not your typical hotel… it feels privately owned and operated although it isn’t. The location is great and while there isn’t super close parking, I found the garage nearby to be safe and convenient. The best way to feel like you live in old town with the amenities of a hotel.

Boutique hotel in the middle of old town Sibenik. There are only 5 rooms per floor so not very big. Rooms were large and very clean. The staff was great especially Matejo who provided some historical information about the area and places to see. There is an underground parking lot nearby that is about 12 euros a day.

Great location and the staff were really friendly however for the price not getting our room serviced for three nights was a bit much. Also the breakfast was weak. Again for the price the food was unacceptable

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Staff were exceptional - warm, welcoming, kind, compassionate and very helpful. They went above and beyond when they learned it was my birthday. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again - a truly wonderful place! Cafe was exceptional too (delicious cakes!)

Didn’t feel very welcome. The rooms were very old and dated. The toilets and sinks we ok but shower was so tiny and just barely passable from a cleanliness standpoint. Our comforter had a stain. Since it was just one night we let it go. But what was really disappointing was the fact that their website says that they will help us with our luggage from the bus station, since the hotel is a little bit of a hike into old town but when we called, no such help was offered. We were two petite women so was tough trying to lug our luggage to the hotel.

Our best hotel stay in Croatia. Beautiful, clean and spacious room. Lovely bathroom with heated floors and plush towels. Front desk staff very polite and helpful. Highly recommend

Not as advertised. Not a four star property. I checked out after the first night of my two night stay and requested a refund. The shower did not drain, the door did not lock, the furniture and linens were dust covered, the bed upholstery was stained, the walls were scuffed. The site stated a bar and restaurant were on site, but there were neither. The patio closed and there was no outdoor space. A fire extinguisher was used to prop open the door on my level. My travel partner's reservation included a spa package, but there was no spa. I expressed my concerns with staff upon checkout. I wrote my concerns on a piece of paper with my contact information. The property never contacted me. Do not recommend.

A really comfortable stay in this historically important building. The surrounding areas are so beautiful and you just want wonder around the city. Nice restaurants and cafes around, easy to reach all the important tourist sites and the beach too. Calm hotel, a varied breakfast and beautiful rooms.

Vi boede på dette hotel i Šibenik og blev simpelthen blæst bagover af oplevelsen. Det er sjældent, at man finder et sted, hvor alt går op i en højere enhed – men det gjorde det her. Stemningen på hotellet er varm, rolig og indbydende. Det føles både intimt og hyggeligt, men samtidig elegant og stilfuldt. Personalet i receptionen og caféen fortjener særlig ros – så imødekommende, hjælpsomme og oprigtigt venlige, at man straks føler sig velkommen og godt taget imod. Værelset var en drøm: smukt indrettet med sans for detaljen, lækre materialer og en fornemmelse af luksus, uden at det blev stift. Sengen var fantastisk komfortabel, og badeværelset rummeligt og moderne med alt, hvad man kan ønske sig. Morgenbuffeten var i særklasse – med friske råvarer, lækre lokale specialiteter og små detaljer, der gjorde hele forskellen. Det er tydeligt, at kvalitet og gæsternes oplevelse er i fokus på alle niveauer. Vi har rejst meget, men dette hotel skiller sig ud som noget særligt. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen – og kan varmt anbefale det til alle, der sætter pris på skønhed, ro og førsteklasses service.

Very comfortable and in a great location in the mddle of the old town shops and restaurant. Our room was comfortable but the bass and beat from the music from the restaurant below our room 103 resonated until nearly midnight. Also the breakfast buffet is in an area that on a hot day gets very hot and therefore if you are later for breakfast it looks a bit unpalatable. Shame because the hotel and staff are lovely.

Amazing stay at this charming hotel in the heart of town, great location! A big shout out to Marina who greeted us at reception… she went above and beyond and was so professional and her service was exceptional. Can’t wait to be back!

If I could give more than 5 stars for the service here, I would. The staff gave us a ton of history about Croatia and it was fascinating talking with them. And very helpfully booked dinner for us. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing--everything was very, very fresh. I would definitely recommend!

The reception staff were lovely. The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely part of the town. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and only two minutes from the sea front.

Unique historic hotel in the centre of Sibenik old town, excellent choice of quality food for breakfast, a real gem!

An excellent hotel. The team is friendly and professional. The new a la carte breakfast is excellent and the personal service from Slaven and colleagues made this a standout hotel that we hope to visit again.
