Sunday afternoon so we were able to check in early. Great in-house restaurant for dinner. Many shops were still open. Great stay.

Loved the stay in the rustic & quaint “Gardener’s Cottage”. The meal in the main bistro was exceptional. All in all, a great way to spend a Valentine’s Weekend!!

I came down with strep during the trip. Our hotel lost power for several hours, meaning I was sick, in a cold room, with a dead phone. The hotel would not reimburse anything; I tried. Housekeeping then walked into my room at 7:00am on my last morning, stating that they thought the room was empty. They then asked me if I could leave my door open so they could get water from my sink to fill the communal keurig in the hallway. So rude, not to mention gross.
