Aloft in Raleigh, across from NCSU's Bell-tower was a wonderful stay. If only for one night. Plenty of room, & a clean room at that...Very comfortable bed. It was quiet. Scenic. The staff were friendly. The onsite parking option was convenient & safe. Enjoyed that a lot of the areas I was in the area to research & soak up were within walking distance. Nice! Clean! Smells amazing! Signage at curbside pull-up for check in could be improved. Hard to tell where the main entrance was at first. We circled the block and figured it out. Otherwise, excellent!

Awesome staff and bartender. Easy to get public transportation to event we were in town to attend. Had live music Saturday night and the coffee shop thats attached to hotel is excellent.

We were there Thursday through Sunday, and despite the fact I requested it, there was no service in the room. I had to get towels from the front desk myself. The swimming pool was closed as was the weight room.

This is our go-to hotel when we drop off or visit our son at NCSU. Location can't be beat, clean, modern, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and quiet. We absolutely love the lobby which has huge sliding doors that open in good weather to balcony overlooking the NCSU Bell Tower. Pool table, board games and a really cool bar. Check it out.

Great location for visiting NCSU campus. Across from the NCSU Bell Tower. Walk to restaurants. Very convenient. The hotel doesn’t offer a complimentary breakfast but does offer a cash and carry breakfast. There is a parking charge as well.

After traveling for 4 hours, my room wasn’t ready at check in time. I waited 30 minutes and after getting my belongings up to the 6th floor and ready to relax, I open the door and it’s still dirty from the people before. I’ve never had that experience in my life.

This hotel was all about location. Across from nc state and pullen park Rooms r small and carpet needs replacing. Also some floors had residents Bar lounge didnt open until 4. Many of these thing probably due to proximity of college

Checking in was easy. Staff was incredibly courteous. Our only issue is that the windows are not thick enough of sound proof to mitigate the noise that’s outside. We couldn’t get any sleep the entire night. Let alone the morning.

Staff seem underpaid and too small in number for the tasks they have. I would blame that on management. The air conditioner in the room is an old fashioned amana-style box from the 1990s - the size of a low bookcase. It was extremely loud- unusable at night when trying to sleep. I’d stay somewhere else next time.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I love how close it is to NC State and my student’s apartment. Its location allowed our family to enjoy so many of the restaurants on Hillsborough. The parking garage is very convenient. Honestly, my only complaint is that the air conditioning is extremely loud and wakes you up every time it turns on and off.

The first room we were given had a very noisy air conditioner that sounded like it had a 12 inch cicada living inside. Called down to the front desk and they were very nice and immediately assigned us a new room. Great location very convenient to campus

After coming here routinely for downtown events for around 10 years since you’ve been open, will not be returning. This hotel was too overpriced at $600 a night. That’s how much I paid for a cliff-side, island, 5 star hotel on our honeymoon. This is Raleigh. No parking (when paying extra $44), it was noisy until 2am due to location, some of the shampoo dispensers were completely empty, poor bar selection, front desk staff were always distracted and required help.

We've stayed here before. The location is perfect for us. Nice of you of the clock tower close to everything. Great little coffee shop downstairs staff was great. We bring our dog absolutely no problem whatsoever. Plenty of places to walk. I'm not complaining but I must say the TV remote had to be the hardest I've ever used. Me or my wife could figure it out. Other than that, loved it

Everything about the hotel and stay were great except for the hot food order. The cook was nice but it took forever and unexpected ingredients were added to make up for things they were out of without asking. But the ingredients seemed to be of decent quality.

Overall, I enjoyed staying at the Aloft. Pros - great atmosphere, bar is a plus - huge entertaining space. Great location with plenty of bars and restaurants. Cons - lack of a real free breakfast. Lack of food options to be ordered at the bar. It was very warm in the room when we turned the A/C on it rattled extremely loud and disturbed our sleep a bit. Nothing too terrible but was noticeable. Overall 8/10

Such a comfortable and luxurious feel to this amazing hotel! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful room with a great view, and not to mention the staff was incredibly helpful and well-mannered. Drinks were great at the bar in the lobby and the location was perfect! 10/10!

Property is very well located, particularly if you are planning to visit NCSU. On main transportation line. Staff were very fiendly and helpful, including in addressing a couple of special requests. The property does need some updating in decor and things like carpet. There was a very loud fan/vent in the 6th floor hallway. The lobby bar is excellent, if a bit pricey (which is probably typical of a hotel bar). Overall a very good experience.

Aloft is fine. Bed was comfy. The breakfast situation is not ideal. Everything is at a cost and it was a pain to get basic items like water and milk for cereal. Each time I had to ask someone for something as simple as water. There's no regard for Celiac/GF people as far as options. I ended up ordering very bland scrambled eggsa nd brought my own GF bread. The food ideology is extremely outdated. Oh- and there's no indication how much any of the food items cost.
