Comfort Suites Dodge City

Great stop for the night. Grandsons used the pool but we thought it was cool for a heated pool. Room, bed was comfortable for all of us

The property needs some updating. Dining chairs are very worn looking, our room needed painting, the elevator was quite scratched up. The pool area was cold and the pool water was murky. We did not use it as it looked unclean.

Elevator was out and had been for 2 weeks.... and we were on the top floor.

The room was nice and spacious. Pool was very disappointing. Dirty and definitely NOT heated as advertised.

Hotel was having maintenance done. Tried to come down elevator and tile crew was working, told we had to go back and use stairs. Would be nice if staff could forewarn you about these types of disruptions upcoming when you check in. Very quite, clean. Cheaper yhan most all on the area.

The elevator was out of service so that was an issue but other than that, it was nice and clean.

The lobby and room were both very clean. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again!

Customer service was great. Elevators were out at the time so that was pain going up stairs with all our luggage but it’s okay. I get it things happen. Room was comfortable. Cleanliness could have been better. We had a pull out couch and the sheets had crumbs. Looks like they didn’t get changed out from previous. Shower had a few hairs in shower. Didn’t get to try breakfast because our binder with information said it ended at 10 and went down shortly after 9 and everything was pretty much put away I was able to get an orange juice but that’s it. But overall stay was good. I would stay again.

Oh how I wish we'd taken photos, but we got in so late and were so tired only to discover a hotel where EVERY trash can (outside and inside) was literally overflowing onto the floor and into a room that had one bed when our reservation was for 2 queens and a pull-out sofa bed. This was a stop for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) on our way to Colorado. No other rooms were available so the front desk attendant (wish I'd gotten his name) frantically tried to prepare a room (made the bed with clean bedding) to fit us all only for me to discover urine down the side of the toilet which sealed me not staying in that room. An hour later, we made the decision to separate our family. I was desperate for sleep as it had been a long night-time drive and it was now about 11:00 p.m. My daughter and I took the initial room they gave us and my husband and son took the dirty room. Beds were hard. Breakfast was cold and the gal couldn't keep up with the people. The employees present tried but they needed help. I've found that every time we have a problem and have booked through hotels.com, the hotel rarely cares about our problems and we have no financial recourse because of who we booked through. I'm about done with hotels.com because this is not our first bad experience of not receiving what we booked and having no options for a refund without jumping through hoops. Don't stay at this hotel and reconsider who you book through.

The little shampoo bottles in the bathroom were both half used. That’s gross. So was one of the conditioners. I think the housekeeper got distracted and forgot to replace them. Otherwise, loved the room! Very nice!!

This hotel was quiet, comfortable bed, clean and conveniently located a short drive from downtown and the casino/bypass. Breakfast was on par with most free hotel breakfasts for the cost of the room. I felt safe in the area.

This hotel is excellent! We had a great stay because of the comfortable bed, great shower, friendly people and the hotel was extremely clean and well maintained.

Stayed here for 3 days with a group of friends for an event in Dodge. Check in with was smooth but when I went to bed, I noticed a couple of bugs, when I moved the pillows, the bed was crawling with them. Eventually they gave me a new room but the really helpful lady on late night duty at reception could only do that if I produced photos to prove it because she needed to explain the room allocation to her manager. Comfort Suites is not an expensive brand but clearly this original room hadn’t been used for a while and nobody bothered to check it. I expect better and if it hadn’t been for the late night receptionist, this would be a 1 star review

We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Suites. Check in was quick and easy. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The area getting out of the elevator was dirty. Outside need to pickup the trash and clean spills near the front entrance. need wipes to wipe down exercise equipment.

Beds were AMAZING. Room was spacious, clean and so comfortable!

The room was very spacious. I love that this hotel offers a pull out couch in there rooms. This is a great commodes for my family. Very clean. Will stay again.

This was our 2nd time staying here from a longer trip. The bed in this room was not comfortable at all. And an alarm from another room was going off all night. They only time I could sleep was when the AC kicked on in our room to drown out the annoying sound. They have a good breakfast and a large dining area.

The main curtain could not close bright lights.. the room was noisy, thin walls neighboring room very loud, we couldn’t sleep so got up at 3:30 and left for home. Need sound proofing

Checked in. No problem. Got to the room and found out there was a shower, but no bathtub. We prefer a bathtub, but did not specify that we wanted one. Asked reception if we could get a room with a bathtub and we were told that we could not. We had reserved the room through Hotels.com/Expedia and this was the room we reserved and the only room we could have. It would just be too hard to change the room. Kind of sounds like BS to me, but whatever. We took it, but we’re not happy about it. The parking lot was nearly empty at nearly 10:00 pm, so the facility did not appear to be anywhere near full, and surely would have had a room with a bathtub available. So this policy appears to be for the convenience of Comfort Suites or Hotels/Expedia, and certainly not for the convenience of the user, or maybe just for the convenience of the Reception staff. Am considering dropping Hotels.com/Expedia and Comfort Suites from our travel planning.

The staff was helpful and check in was really quick. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was really comfortable.

The only thing I noticed is the room had no usb ports. Make sure you bring plenty of wall blocks. I was shocked by this in this day and age.

Check in is awful! The man at the desk is always never around, once a cleaning lady had to go find him outside and bring him back for us. He is rude, non informative and the worst to deal with. Their indoor pools temperature was below 50 degrees. The man at the front just told us well it’s not a hot tub what do you expect. This place could be phenomenal place to stay if they had a better person running it.

Checkin was a bit difficult. The attendant asked for a credit telling me the room wasn’t paid for. I made & paid for the room thru Expedia online. I finally had to pull up the record to prove payment. Our room was on the 3rd floor & the elevator had a “not working” sign. We had a handicapped room. The attendant said we could still use the elevator but that it overheats so the try to limit its use. Upon checking other reviews, this has been a problem for more than 3 months! The ice maker on the 3rd floor was also non functional. While they did have internet, it was so slow that it was unusable (2 mb download). Shameful. Our card keys were even given to us in what appeared to be a pre-used card folder. Overall, we our stay was somewhat comfortable but caused worry using a non-functional elevator. We didn’t feel anywhere near safe using it. We won’t stay here again if we’re in the area.

The hotel staff and the hotel in general was very nice. My check in experience was terrible. Somewhere between hotels.com and the hotel my reservation was lost and could not be found. I spent over an hour waiting in “the chat” with 2 different hotels.com representatives for resolution to my situation. I did ultimately get a room at the same hotel and my stay was great. I very much miss the days that you could actually talk to a person at hotels.com and not be in limbo wondering if your chat was dropped. Hotels.com did make it right in the end and I didn’t have to change hotels.

Nobody at front desk at check in , a note with a phone to call for help , also all tables in breakfast area dirty , found girl in back room on her phone instead of doing her job . Not very friendly people working there !

We were traveling home and we got in a blizzard so we stayed in Dodge The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to help us. The Young man that was on staff I know ended up working over 24 hours and making sure everybody was OK. Everything was comfortable and very nice.

The young man at the hotel desk was very helpful because we couldn't figure out how to change TV channels. He explained clearly and with a smile. Staff friendliness is important!!

Very clean, friendly staff. Had difficulties with our tv. We asked one of the staff at the front desk to help us. He took the time to come up, look at the tv, and fixed what was wrong—we were very impressed with his assistance!

Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The free breakfast was pretty good and parking is ample. The area seams safe. My only real complaint was the elevator was out and I was disappointed at the staff’s response to older visitors who needed help with luggage. The older visitors were already checked in with luggage upstairs and did not get any help coming back down the stairs. The person at the front desk Sunday evening indicated there would be help, but Monday morning people were being told there was no staff to assist.

The rooms were nice, quite comfortable. We stayed on our way to AZ and on the way back. This time we didn't get a really low, low toilet, like last time. What we didn't like was the breakfast. The sausage patties were dry as hockey pucks, the egg omelet was overdone, and the bananas were black. I asked for fresher bananas, but they ones they brought out were just as bad. Terrible breakfast!!

Great stop! The kids loved the pool and we appreciated the full breakfast!

The room was huge! We loved the oversized bathroom as well. It was clean and the temp was perfect. Breakfast was great and all staff we encountered were friendly!

Really thought the room was great. Very roomy and comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very clean. However, toilet paper was not restocked. Bed and furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. Very disappointed with the continental breakfast. It was very cheaply done. Eggs were overly processed patties. The oatmeal was only instant packets with no add in such as raisins or granola. No fresh juice. It was just not up to par with other hotels.
