We stayed here en route to our final destination. It right off the freeway in a great little town. Check in was quick and easy. We walked into our room and were delighted. Great space, clean and modern. Pool and hot tub were a bonus. Breakfast was great! Would definately stay again..

Staff was friendly on check in. Was working in Ashland, KY and stayed across the bridge in Ohio. Food options nearby, room was clean but could use some minor maintenence work (ie; caulking around toilet, etc). Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. 24 hr pool and hot tub access. A strong chlorine smell irritated my eyes, just being near the pool but there were plenty of people enjoying and not seeming to have the same issue. Hotel was quiet.

Hot tub was broken my wife needed it for therapy from knee surgery but they call on our way to inform us it was down. But we were in route already. And they said they could not discount for the inconvenience because we booked the room through your booking site

No frills design-wise but the room was clean and the beds and chairs were very comfortable (even though the bed was very tall) and there was lots of grass and a bbq/play area behind the hotel for dogs and families which was really nice. It was also walking distance to a few restaurants which was helpful. Easy parking. Close to freeway but not at all noisy. Tons of direct tv channels. Good ac.

We use to come down regularly we like 2.5hours away! Hasn’t been since right before covid ruined America lol. It was great being back!! 24hour pool and hot tub will always be worth the drive for my family!!

Quick and easy check in. Very informative and friendly. Very clean in lobby and hallways. Room was very nice, comfortable beds, and clean. We used the fitness room. It was well equipped I used the treadmill while my husband used the elliptical, both worked great. They also had a stationary bike. We also used the bench and dumbbells. Grateful for the water cooler with cups. Breakfast was good, as expected hotel breakfast. The back courtyard looked fun, had a nice sitting area, a grill and two pairs of cornhole boards!

From the front desk clerk to the cleaners super awesome staff super friendly and was just all around awesome and top of of the amazing service having the 24 hr pool and spa help me recover after a long football game definitely would love to stay here again

Everything was great until we found a roach on one of the beds. I got it in a tissue and took to the front desk. They moved us rooms and gave me a discount on next visit. Were only going back because we stayed there several times and always been good. The options are very limited in ironton for a hotel.

This was a really nice clean hotel. Our room was large and updated. Staff was friendly and helped us with eating suggestions and when my aunt needed to visit an urgent care they allowed me to stay in my room past checkout to await her return. Breakfast was fresh and a level above even tho normal hotel fare.

23 days on the road, this room is the best yet! It is an "accesible" room, very large. Large, well-lit counter for coffee, etc. Great staff, hot breakfast. Easy to find. Highly recommend!

We stayed here two days ago and everything was great except our room had not been cleaned. I let them know when we checked out. We are back again today with a clean king suite and it’s just so quiet and relaxing here. This is our fourth time staying here and even tho it’s close to home, we feel like we are out of town and truly enjoy the peace and quiet.

The staff was amazing and very nice. They went out of there way to accommodate us as we were traveling as a group. The women at the desk was a pleasure to talk with and provided us with information about the area only a local would know. The breakfast was great with lots of selections. I recommended the cinnamon rolls yumm! The room was nice and clean.

Its proximity to my route what I didn’t like was after I drove 12 hours to get there just to find out the dates that I had paid for were some how moved up to the next day without my knowledge that didn’t coincide with my itenerary and the lady at the front desk I felt like just wanted to shoo me away and didn’t want to help so I went elsewhere

The lady at the front desk kept trying to sign me up for a membership after I told her I was not interested. It even seemed that she was going to do it anyway until I asked directly why she needed my Zip Code and she responded with "oh I thought you said yes".. after I clearly said no. Shady tactics. Would have to assume their are multiple people who have memberships they do not want. Also the first room smelled like smoke

Loved our stay. Only thing that bothered us was the juice machine was broken. We don’t drink coffee and only had milk as our other option. Also kids should be limited in the pool/hot tub. Ran into older couples who wouldn’t go in the area due the amount of kids and noise.

Absolutely one of the very best Holiday Inn stays. Room was amazingly clean and comfortable as always. Hot and pool open 24 hours and very clean and stocked with plenty of fresh towels. Breakfast was hot and restaurant quality. Couldn’t be happier!

From the ease of booking this property for what it’s known for which is the 24 hour pool and hot tub, to check in with a very friendly front desk face and the multiple choices for breakfast to pick from and enjoy in a beautiful dining area, to quiet and peaceful and the room was beautiful, clean, spacious and exactly as we expected. Our only complaint was the woman who was in charge of breakfast was not helpful, approachable or personable at all and it was disappointing considering how wonderful everyone else that we interacted with was so pleasant.
