This property is worth maybe $49.99 a night definitely NOT $199.99 a night. No breakfast or anything but a dive. Sorry I feel so bad that I feel this way. I’m always trying to see the good. Not this time.

Charming place with a cabin feel. Super friendly staff was helpful and the room we got was big with parking close so loading in/out of the room was a breeze. Nora's diner a few steps away was great too!

Check in was fine. Just super expensive for what was offered. Bathroom clean, bed though was uncomfy unfortunately and the vending machine aaid "cold drinks". They were not cold. Good thing for the fridge, but still. Ac was nice though

1. No pool, but had a sign where you check-in about the pool area. 2. Feet stuck to carpet when shoes were taken off. 3. Had a strong chemical cleaning smell when we walked in the room 4. Bathroom tub bottom looked like it had mildew growing on the anti-slip tape pieces that were left in the tub. 5. When we came down & told them politely we didn’t feel safe staying the night or room was clean. The man told us someone spilled coffee in the room and they tried to clean it up so maybe that was the smell and wetness in the carpet. We asked for our money back and was told no. When we walked out, he threw the key behind the area he was standing. 6. DONT STAY HERE - lost $200 and didn’t even end up staying the night in town. Drove home.

Only worth $49.99 NOT $199.98 a night. No breakfast, no coffee and very , very outdated. Dead bat outside hanging from roof. I’m 69 years old and have never felt so ripped off. I travel lots and if it wasn’t for a wedding next door would have walked right out. Sorry I’m just being honest.

Everything was absolutely great until bath time and then had to wash ants out of tub every time. It was the flying kind so it could just be the time of year. Other than that it was great! Location, cozy, scenery, it has it all. I would definitely recommend.

We’re checking in is was dirty and filthy. It looked like an old Motel not taking care of the plumbing. The shower backed up and the toilet backed up. They’re dirty sheets and pillows, and nobody bothered to come and change out the towels. I wouldn’t stay there no more for sure.

Stayed there overnight for a concert at Alpine Valley. Very close to venue! Finishings were dated, but room and bathroom were spotless clean! Very quiet there too. Seems to be owned by a small family. They were very nice. Would stay there again

Outside looks a bit rough, but rooms, at least my room, was very clean and cool. Cathedral cedar ceilings, has a great old Wisconsin look. New carpet and tile in bathrooms. Very comfortable. Staff very nice, English not great, had a bit of issues talking with them, but they were helpful. Would recommend and will stay again next year when I come back up here.

There were updated rooms, however, the door wasn't flush with the threshhold. You could see light from outside. We put towels in the crack. The crack is large enough that critters could probably get in...snakes, mice etc.

Great small motel in Elkhorn Wisconsin. The exterior was clean and well maintained. The rooms were updated and clean. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. It was obvious the owners take well care of this motel. I will definitely stay again the next time I visit Elkhorn.

The bed was so uncomfortable. I felt the springs in my back all night. There was no security lock dead bolt, so I felt like an intruder was going to burst in at any second. I also felt like the entire room had mold, which wrecked my sinuses. I was freezing all night, because the AC worked well, so that was a positive. I went after a concert at Alpine. All roads were blocked from venue to the hotel, so people had to double back to get to the hotel. Overall clean, save a couple hairs by the tub that weren't mine. I wore flip flops. I felt it was not worth what I paid for the room.

For the price isnt a bad place to stay older hotel so walls are not insulated well so it is very easy to hear the other guests I had a room on the end of the building so parking us a bit awkward but I would stay there again

Outside looks a bit rough, but rooms, at least my room, was very clean and cool. Cathedral cedar ceilings, has a great old Wisconsin look. New carpet and tile in bathrooms. Very comfortable. The owner, Kevin, is an extremely kind and courteous individual. He takes great care in keeping his motel clean and in good working order. This is the place to be if you’re making a quick trip up to Wisconsin for a concert, skiing at Alpine or visiting Lake Geneva you can’t go wrong with the Crossroads Motel. Excellent place.

This place is a joke I do not recommend anybody staying here. They do not clean the rooms you have to argue to get clean towels and the staff are extremely rude. I asked for clean sheets on the bed as I stayed here for 2 weeks and they told me that they don't give out clean sheets until the person checks out. I had to clean and vacuum my room myself the whole time I was there. I had to argue to get toilet paper. And then they tried to tell me my children were not allowed to be there.

Folks, if you’re looking to head up to Lake Geneva area for a concert or to go skiing or just to get away from Chicago for a while, this is the place to stay. You can’t beat the price. It’s quiet, clean, and in a safe area, the owner and his family take great care and are extremely amiable.

Very nice little hidden gem. Great place. Very clean and staff was nice. Close to Lake Geneva, and close to a great little pub down the street. I plan on staying here again.

We enjoyed the stay. Road construction makes it difficult to get to. I’m sure they’re struggling a bit. We like the roadside motels. The beds were not comfy… place seemed clean for the most part. We did have one big concern and addressed it with front desk. Overall, I’d say it was worth a nights rest.
