Nice spacious 2 queen bed unit, was clean and easy to get to and get in. I don’t think the listing mentioned that there’s a community fire pit and sauna, but there is. They have a key pad on the door and they email you the code (7 digits if I remember right) when it’s ready to check in. Had a microwave and a decent size mini fridge/ freezer that worked well. Would definitely stay again and it was in our price range.

Staff that checked us in was very friendly. Wasnt clear if they had cable so we borrowed a movie and a game from their collection. Very quiet and peaceful, room was spacious. Nice place to stop between Duluth and Grand Marais.

I liked how quiet and clean the rooms were. Sort of close to what I had to do in Grand Marais. Had some mix ups early getting into unit, Could not find unit called A3, didn't know the outside door with knob and key entry would be unlocked, as all I had was a code to punch in. I thought the parking a bit crowded but wouldn't want more trees cut to just make room for cars. My summertime stay was very nice and comfortable. Thank you

Family trip to visit several stops along Lake Superior. Short distance from Fr. Baraga's Cross (we spent a lot of time on the beach there), Cross River, and Temperance River State Park (great trail along the river). Easy drive to Grand Marais. Very clean, comfortable beds, quiet surroundings. Entry code and instructions, as well as check out, were all communicated via text. Would recommend!

It was quiet and quaint! We weren’t as impressed with cleanliness as others, but maybe it was a one off. We found a pair of dirty socks between the bed and night stand and there were coffee splatters that hadn’t been wiped up in the bathroom and tables. Nothing terrible, would stay again. Beds were clean and comfortable, that’s what counts for me!

generally we're not use to being able to manage the climate in the room..during our stay was hot and muggy. There is no air conditioning. Mgr went out of their way to provide a fan which was appreciated.

This was our second stay at Superior Ridge Resort Motel. And it was just as great as the first time! Room was clean and the owners are very friendly and welcoming and I feel its in a great location with all state parks on the shore being an hour or less away! We already have our 3rd stay here booked for this fall!

The room had a smell upon opening the door. Mildewy? The GFI outlet in bathroom was loose. When plugging in an appliance, it only worked if plug was not entirely inserted. There could be a mirror in the main room. I had made a mistake with my reservation which they did inform me. When trying to call back, no one would pick up the phone. I was finally able to reach them when another person in the unit gave me a different number. Very upsetting.

Väldigt mysigt rum som var rymligt och fräscht. Passade väldigt fint i skogsmiljön. Läget var bra med närhet till vandringsleder norrut samt söderut i North Shore. Men väldigt lite restauranger/butiker i närheten. 5-10 minuters bilkörning till lite större byar och ca 30 minuter till Grand Marais.
