The Prairie Inn was delightful experience! Our room was extremely clean!! Was wonderful! Bed comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Just wish they had an elevator. Thank you!

First time we visited this hotel. If anyone has boats they also have outdoor plugins. We will be staying there again in the future when we end up that way. Staff is very nice also. Breakfast has a nice selection. Rooms very clean. Bed very comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It’s an older place but it seemed well kept. No elevator so had to carry belongings upstairs. Price was reasonable.

Property was clean and well decorated. Breakfast was average. they have an automatic pancake maker that produced hot pancakes in just a minute or two. Breakfast sandwiches like sausage and egg were available in the cooler to be heated in the microwave. Coffee was available 24/7. This is a two story hotel, but it does not have an elevator. Guests must carry their luggage up stairs to the second floor.

No elevator. Room smelled as did bedding. Have to step into tub to take shower, no convenient place to put soap and shampoo. Bright light right outside room. Shines in through bottom and top of curtain. Needs a shade with curtain. Very mediocre “continental” breakfast. Way overpriced given condition.

Room was freshly cleaned, staff was super accommodating. Just be warned there is no elevator, my girlfriend doesn’t do stairs well but staff was very accommodating for us to switch our room to the first floor. Overall excellent experience

Exceptionally clean hotel with a professional, accommodating staff. Rooms are spacious with a microwave & fridge, A light breakfast is offered also. Nice quiet safe location & very affordable. I will definitely return !!!

Particularly friendly woman greeted me and checked me in. The room was pretty clean; some dusty/grimy areas on baseboards in sink area. Outside the doors despite the sign that said “this area no smoking” there were probably a hundred cigarette butts on the ground; very gross. I did not use the breakfast so cannot speak to that.

Very shabby! Cigarette burns and stains on the comforter in a non-smoking room. Our room was just above the outside smoking area. Very loud and smelly. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for accommodations. You’ll be happy you did!

Haven’t been to the Prairie Inn in several years. It has been updated in that time. The room was big and the bed comfortable though I found the pillows on the hard side. It was a quiet room which was much appreciated. The bathroom was updated and had good water pressure. The breakfast was ok with hard boiled egggs and breakfast sandwiches in the refrigerator

It's good for what you pay for. The blankets are thin and the a/c wasn't consistent. Plus the walls might be thin because I could hear someone snoring from what sounded like above me

Nice staff and hugh rooms. Would book again in a heartbeat. Quite heater and temperature in room was comfortable. No strange odors. Sink was right outside of bathroom but still separated from room. This was nice. Definitely enough room for luggage. I would stay there again if i would go to LaCross for a longer vacation.

Very cute and quiet place to stay- my only real complaint would be the water pressure of the shower not being steady, but that was probably due to the time of day and number of guests showering at once; but would highly recommend this property and would return in the future!

I have stayed here several times and come back when I am in the area. This time, I came to check in at 3:05 in the afternoon and there was no one in the building who understood English. The man who was here who got me in contact with someone off site, but I thought this was really bad planning.

The hotel was great! Clean, well run, safe. Even had a laundry room and continental breakfast like some of the larger chains. Great lodging in a budget…half the price of hotels in nearby La Crosse. The only negative was that hotel cleaning staff, eager to get going on their daily chores knocked on my door and opened it at 7am, waking me from an otherwise uneventful deep sleep.

Quick and easy check in. Quiet building great for travelers passing through as this is a no frills kind of place. Situated just off a highway in a commercial park. Everything in the room was neat and clean. My only dings are that the tv remote was a bit wonky and the towels were a bit hard and scratchy. The continental breakfast was adequate with the usual offerings. Coffee and juices were available 24/7. I would stay here again without hesitation.

From the minute you arrive it feels like you are at a home away from home. The staff is welcoming, the hotel is in a quiet and wooded location, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Nice hotel. In a great location just off US 53. Room was quiet and the bed was very nice. Slept very well on the bed! The room had some blemishes, such as a crack in the tub but nothing deal breaking. Free breakfast too! I would stay again!

This was a fantastic hotel. Great breakfast, huge room (especially next to the stairs), clean and friendly. In fact, on a big road trip with 10 hotel stops, I mistakenly booked the wrong night at this location, and I didn't realize the mistake until they called to confirm. Happily, they were able to switch it to the correct night. The gentleman at the desk was very attentive to the buffet during breakfast.
