When we got to the hotel there was no parking. I had to park illegally over night. Walls are VERY thin. Could hear the movie our neighbors were watching word for word. Also very noisy in the AM with breakfast starting at 530am. Plus the smell was overwhelming waking us up.

The pool was not available to use. The door for housekeeping slammed often. The south door to the outside slammed also. The breakfast area was equipped with hot food and fruits.The manager of breakfast area was excellent keeping area clean and food filled.

The room was clean and smelled good. It was quiet and felt safe. There was a gas station and a restaurant nearby. The pool and fitness area were really good. I would definitely stay there again.

The pool was closed - without prior notice. I actually chose this hotel for the pool. I spoke to the front desk 3 days before check-in, mentioned the pool, and was not notified it was closed. There were actually quite a few cheaper hotels (without a pool) that I passed up to book with you. Frustrating

The Hotel overall was a good experience. Very clean. Staff was very accommodating. Only issue was that there was large group of guests that congregated in the dining room area late at night and were very loud. So loud to the point in which it woke both my daughters from sleep. We called front desk and they had advised they would handle it. However, still was very loud until late evening. Pool was clean. Would stay there again but not on floor level

Holiday Inn Express, Jamestown NY. We loved every minute with the exception of a barking dog in the room next to us. The problem was taken care of immediately by Susie at the front desk. The kids loved the pool and the gym. We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed for four nights and feel that the carpet was never vacuumed as some crumbs that were on the floor remained my entire stay. I even found someone else’s property left on the floor, and turning it in didn’t seem to phase the front desk, even though it’s obvious that finding strange property on the floor means the room wasn’t cleaned well. I stayed away from that side of the room. The window privacy blind fell and they just took that away. I had to keep the blackout drapes down most of my stay. I prefer daylight, but didn’t have a choice. And finally, the room chosen for me was just outside the elevator one the first floor. I heard nearly EVERYBODY coming and going, plus a child jumping off the bed upstairs for more than an hour, and a group of people who had to meet up in the room beside me. This used to be my favorite hotel, but it has been a total nightmare. Staff don’t care about your privacy, noise, and the half-clean rooms. Next time I’m in town, you won’t see me at this hotel, period. Not anymore…. ever again.

I read the reviews before booking here and I was so surprised by the condition of the hotel and how dirty it was. The carpeting in the hallway are so stained on floor 2. Our bathroom in room 211, was filthy. I couldn’t even use the shower it was that bad. When we asked if it could be cleaned we were told they were gone for the day. So that was that. I would not recommend this hotel if u care to stay in a clean room. At least the bed was comfy. And the front desk clerk was helpful but her hands were tied as far as getting the bathroom cleaned but it would have been nice if they had comped us somehow for the issue.

Our room had blood splatter on the walls, headboard and lampshade. My husband a federal law enforcement officer immediately had our son exit the room. We were given another suite only to find mold in the shower toilet and bathroom floor. The beds were worn out and uncomfortable. The staff was friendly, unfortunately the person at checkout Lori was miserable. Don’t stay here it’s nasty!

Quality control in the guest room was very very low either during a renovation or original installation. Many things lacked attention to detail. Very poor lighting over desk area. Toilet was loose on the floor. Wooden door to Refrigerator doordragged on the floor. In the food service area the trash receptacle should’ve been placed by the exit. Not the very back part other facility. The carpet in the guestroom, quarters were very, very dirty, however, the lighting was very good. The food service for breakfast was very good. On the outside in the front of the building, there were many dead bushes. What I received my billing on my credit card statement a significant error has been made.

The location was great and not far from town. The breakfast was really good and staff kept everything in stock. Our only major issue was noise! I don’t know if it was because we were on the main floor or what, but every time the room next door would go in and out their door would slam shut shaking the walls in our room. We could even hear the conversation being had next. We could hear the foot steps and wheels of suitcases from the people above us. Even sleeping in was difficult because of all the noise that can be heard from the lobby.

Clean, comfortable. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Spacious room with sofa and coffee table, keurig, microwave and fridge which made it easy to reheat our leftovers from a restaurant. Complimentary breakfast was typical offerings. Coffee was hot.Convenient hours that allowed for sleeping in. My only complaint was the signage to the hotel. Signage needs to be down on Rt 60, not farther back on the property. The only sign I saw on the road was the one for the Hampton Inn, so I didn't see where the Holiday Inn Express was. I wasted time driving around looking for the hotel because I only saw the sign for Hampton. Consider putting your signage down closer to the road so your guests don't have to feel lost like I did. Otherwise it was a great stay. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again should my plans bring me to the area again.

Room was nice sized and clean. Mini fridge was a plus. Common areas of front entrance, lobby, dining area & pool were brightly lit and well maintained. Free breakfast each morning was very good. Nice selection of hot & cold offerings. Located near a pizza place, McDonald's, Tim Horton's & Bob Evans. Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Jamestown.

The hotel was fine except my cable TV was off and I couldn't watch TV. The guy at the front desk came up and tried but when I checked with him later in the day he had not done anything about it. He did say that he told the Manager who made no offer of resolution.

We were only there to sleep (less than 12 hours) but the time we were there, we were very impressed with this hotel. Nicely updated and seemed well kept. The only downside we had was walls are VERY thin so could hear our neighbor when he was talking on the phone (we brought our noise machine so didn't hear anything while sleeping). So I'm sure he could hear us just talking with each other/our toddler running around. The staff was extremely friendly and location was nice since it was right off the interstate. I was impressed with the breakfast selection as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean hotel, The young lady at the front desk was phenomenal. She was kind, informative and she did it with a smile. It was a snowy day and she was constantly mopping the floors to keep them clean. Breakfast was good as well. Nice options for everyone. We will be back in a couple weeks.

Denise and Delaney were so nice. Denise was very pleasurable during the check in part and Delaney just went above and beyond. We stayed here w kids for the new years and she treated us so good. Very impressed.

Fresh fruit throughout the day available plus coffee and tea and hot chocolate all day, long as well. Room was wonderful, clean, comfortable, lots of storage, loved the bathroom (especially the sink was higher than in most hotels, which made it easier to brush teeth without dripping all over). Beds were comfortable room had plenty of pillows, with refrigerator and in microwave. This allow us to eat our dinner in the room without having to go to a restaurant as we were quite tired from our travels.

Love the hotel staff. Super friendly. Hot breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was wonderful. Quite a few outlets in the room didn't work. None of the USB ports worked. The most frustrating thing was that the hotel didn't have my reservation from hotels.com. It took them hours and multiple phone calls to get it straightened out. Very disappointing.

It was clean and easy access to the area to see anything we wanted. I lived in the area from 1982 to 1984, and it's the best option. Breakfast was good, and we had the pool to ourselves, considering it was a busy weekend. We'd go there again in a heartbeat.

Right off the highway and an easy drive to attractions in Jamestown. Bob Evans restaurant across the street and a gas station next door also very convenient. Comfortable clean room. My only wondering is why the bed and the sink were both so ridiculously high! I felt a bit like a mountain climber getting into bed and the bathroom sink was chest high. Very puzzling but not a dealbreaker.

The lights in the front of the room such as over the desk area were minimal or absent. This made the room dark. The TV controller did not have a useful way to get to the menu of channels for subsequent selection. There was no hot oatmeal available for breakfast.
