Dealt with our mobility issues properly. Whole bunch of parking spaces for diamond members, only two available for handicapped. Otherwise parking was not great with very tight spaces. If your not familiar with this area of Saskatoon getting to this place is somewhat awkward.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, free breakfast had a lot of options…a few if you’re gluten free. Pool is meh small & not deep, no hot tub. Overall nice hotel. A/C is room was extremely loud & when booking we were not informed of $75 pet fee charge.

Room needed a good “fix-it up”. Curtain rod falling off the wall, toilet paper holder falling off the wall (looks to have been ill-repaired a few times before), stains on the wall, bathtub plug broken, towels old/worn/smelly and need to be replaced, pool broken/under maintenance during stay.

Good service friendly staff. Room was clean and well taken care of. Pool was out of service and being fixed and they didn’t post this ahead of time. If pool is out of order would like posted ahead of time on website.

Large rooms, comfortable beds. No dining, food or lounge options. Breakfast was included but it would have been nice to eat off real plates and with real etensils instead of plastic...kind of cheap and tacky. Breakfast was just okay.

Found a bed bug and the hotel management didn’t even say anything to us about it. Didn’t even offer to give us a free room. The staff said somebody would call me but to date never heard from anybody. Like I can share and post on social media.

Usually stay here on my way through Saskatchewan...with no issues. But Very dissatisfied with the cleanliness this time. We found about 6, not one, 6! Hairs in rhe bed, even between the fitted and flat sheet. Carpet was dirty. This was a gross way to start our stay this time Hoping this is addressed. As its usually a clean stay.

The check in was smooth, the room was nice. There was urine under the toilet seat so that made me feel like the whole room wasn’t very clean. The pool was subpar, small, one depth. My kids easily preferred other pools at other hotels. Overall it was a nice stay. The rooms were updated, the parking lot felt safe. Just wish the pool was better and that the bathroom was cleaned properly.

The room was quite dirty ( the surfaces were very dusty and there was what looked like dried snot on the sides of the nightstand , and greasy marks on the tv stand) the sheets had black fuzz and were very thread bare. There were stains on the chairs. Bathroom was decently clean though when showering the tub floor creaked. Staff was very friendly for check in and out. We didn’t use the pool this time so no reviews for that.

For as long as we were there, things were ok. The ac unit was noisy and there was a barking dog next door (which did quiet down later in the evening). No show stoppers and would probably go back again. Would make sure the check out hvac as soon as we arrived and check to see if pets were quartered next to us.

Mostly it’s a good hotel. The noise is bad as you can hear people using the bathrooms and their tv through the walls. Bathtub creaks like you’re falling through the floor.

Walls were shockingly thin. You could hear EVERYTHING next door. A bit of water damage and loose tiles in the bathroom, and the shower curtain was very flimsily installed.

Our family had 5 rooms booked in total as we were coming for a wedding, driving 3 hours to get there. Wedding was at 4 so had to be there for 3:30, checkin was at 3. We requested early checkin and were told several times we would have to call that day, finally I spoke with the manager and she ok’d us to have 2 rooms early for 1:00, we agreed. We got there and our daughter got her room but we were told our room was occupied by a gold member so had late check out and we could not get in as it had not been cleaned yet. I told Reef I would come back down to clear things up with him as we had dogs with us as well and were never made aware there was a fee until we got there that day. In the meantime we went up to our daughters room for 6 of us to get ready for the wedding and I happen to ask the cleaning staff if they had any idea when our adjoining room would be cleaned and they told us it had already been cleaned. I was livid with the front desk clerk as he flat out lied about the room just having been vacated. I honestly don’t understand why you couldn’t go above and beyond to help families out that have traveled a distance to get to their destination for a wedding and not to mention that I had my 84 and 82 year old parents along with me that are not in good health! Instead going out of their way to make our day as difficult as they could! Remember “A little kindness goes a long way!” I will not be booking with them and would not refer any family or friends to book either!

I generally was impressed with the property especially the front desk young lady. She was very friendly and went out of her way to help. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but she worked days. The one negative thing was that the property has put an outdoor speaker playing music 24/7 outside the property entrance. This speaker is fairly loud and is right outside the window of room 218 which, as luck would have it, was the room I was assigned on arrival. The music could easily be heard within room 218 and made it impossible to sleep. Thus the above noted front desk young lady was very nice and had my room changed. I wish I could remember her name but she deserves a big accolade. However I would always highly recommend this hotel. The young lady at the front desk worked days December 24th & 25th but was off Boxing Day.

In 15 years of traveling for track and field meets as a coach, this was the worst experience I have had in Canada. The issues began with the lack of parking due to poor snow removal. While inconvenient, this alone would not have prompted me to leave a negative review. However, the condescending and unhelpful response from the front desk when I called for assistance was unacceptable. While driving around the lot in search of a space, I phoned the front desk to inquire about alternatives. The woman who answered was dismissive and condescending, speaking as though I should have already known the parking situation. She instructed me to park at the hotel next door, which they also own, but made it clear that it was my problem if I had to walk through poorly lit alleys late at night, alone, on icy ground with a bad knee. After my hike, I discovered that the outer doors were locked. There I stood, holding my torn bag of food and luggage, struggling to find my key pass. Despite a hotel staff member watching me from inside, they offered no assistance as I stood out of breath and exhausted from the long walk. As a 54-year-old, out of shape, and having just spent the day volunteering at a youth track meet, I was disheartened to be met with such disregard. NEVER AGAIN will I stay at a Hampton Inn.

The service was fair but what was a no no was the very low quality of paper plates and cutlery, it was the cheapest of the cheap and for $200+ a night we should have gotten better quality utensils even if has to be paper plates… there are better quality to use, this was off putting for me

I gave you only 4 stars because the bed, advertised as 'queen' was not. Queens are 60" wide, this one was not. Also, the mattress sagged in the middle, showing that it was old enough to require replacement. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The scramble eggs at breakfast were watery, indicating they had been frozen and reheated.

I really liked the Hampton. A good location and easy access to where I needed to go in town. The bed and pillow were super comfortable and it is the first time in months that my back did not ache the next morning. The breakfast was also good and well stocked. I will definitely stay here again.

I stay at Hampton Inn Saskatoon South regularly, as usual our room was clean and the staff is always courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good and we particularly enjoyed the bacon this time! This is our hotel of choice when we visit family in Saskatoon several times a year.

Room was comfortable however when we first got there it was quite warm in the room, otherwise the room was fantastic. The complimentary breakfast was not the greatest, the bacon was undercooked and the fruit looked a little spoiled with almost fur looking apples and rotten oranges.
