We arraived late 8.30pm, went to the bar and a lady knew to expect us so she came out with big friendly smile and checked us in. Then took us to our room, showed us bathrooms. The Bathrooms were noticeably clean and noticed a few people in a lounge area on the way, chatting and a TV there as well. The young lady was very welcoming. The room was clean. No issues. We could hear the odd horn or car alarm over the weekend. We were close to a main drag and on the first floor and it was a Pub. It had a friendly atmosphere and food and coffee areas. No complaints here..We will be back.

Staff were lovely & the dinning options were very good, either in-house or close by. Parking was right at the hotel too! The room was clean & the bed & pillows were comfy too! As we are in our 70’s,..what was not so good was the stairs to go up to the room carrying bags etc & the ‘shared bathrooms’. But the bathrooms were clean & had all you would need to shower. Overall a good low cost option & much less busy the further down the coast!

The Airconditioning was sounding like it was about to break. No staff around to tell. Then there was a power failure and the windows don’t open so it was like a sweat box ! There was also mould in the room. The shared bathroom was fine

Clean ,clean ,clean .Staff very friendly and helpful .Couple of minor things ,handrail on stairs up to rooms needs fastening at the top of first steps,some steps had treads needed to be replaced but no complaints .Will recommend highly .

The room was surprisingly big, it was clean and the shared bathrooms were also very clean. The bed was super comfy and my room had AC! Very happy with my stay here. Side note: the bagel place (UE Bagels) downstairs had the best bagel and coffee I’ve ever had in GC. So good!

Air Conditioning in Both Rooms i stayed needed modernising. Very Noisey its all you can hear decent place but Security doors along the hallway make a terrible racket all day. Can’t stay in your room

I stayed in an Economy Single with Shared Bathroom Positives: good value for money. Bed was comfortable enough. Shared bathroom facilities recently renovated. Negatives: it is above a pub. 2 of the 3 nights I stayed there I was woken up at 5am by a drunk man vomiting loudly outside, in the hallway and in the bathroom opposite my room door. The rooms have no soundproofing and hearing this in the mornings made me feel sick.

Clean, comfortable, freshly renovated, and, most importantly given that it's over a pub, quiet. Would happily stay again for a quick overnight where all that is needed is a bed to sleep, a shower, and morning coffee.

Great location, super friendly staff, and overall very convenient for a short stay. Room doesn’t have a window you can open so it does get stuffy after a few days. Having shared bathrooms is a bit inconvenient at times but the facilities are clean and well taken care of. Arrived a bit earlier before check-in but they offered to store my bags for me. Also had some mail delivered to the hotel which didn’t arrive on time and the staff kindly took note of it to notify me later on when it arrives.

The place was aight, close to the airport and the beach, but far away from activities like theme parks etc. the staff were rly nice and understanding. during our stay of 3 days we saw around 4-5 small roaches, the bed was uncomfortable cuz the mattress was literally covered w plastic which ig is hygienic but makes the most annoying sounds. Also the area gets loud af, lots of drunk ppl and restaurants doing bts work w trucks and stuff. Overall was good for the price.

Amazing location, 5 minutes from an outstanding beach. Bed was ok, but I was confy. The guests need to remember to not slam doors when trying to sleep or in middle of the night!! Whilst it was located near to the main highway, this wasn't an issue unless a lorry thundered past. The Gold coast is epic!

Live music on Saturday night at Palm Beach Hotel was excellent add on to the stay. The location is close to wide ranging shops including supermarkets, cafes and also the beach and a bus stop.

I would recommend this place to couples and singles. It was very clean, perfectly located to all Palm Beach shops and activities. The hotel had a great menu. I had the naked seafood linguine, which was chock a block with delicious fresh seafood. They also accept your seniors card at all times for a 10 percent discount off food and drinks. This place well and truly passed my expectations.
