Clean and convenient to Sunset Park, Nice staff and petfriendly. But dishonest about pricing. Breakfast is not included, it costs $15 plus a service fee plus tax. In this neighborhood there is better more affordable breakfast elsewhere. Parking costs $45 extra and is 1st come 1st serve. Pets cost $50 extra per night! So add over $100 per night to the price you see quoted.

There are NO room upgrades! An upgrade is moving up 1 floor and there's only 4 of them! Then they want you to pay to park in property and there are no gates or security. And there is literally only 10 spaces.They need to include parking for that.

The property is clean have stayed here before. The parking is always right they have like 8 spots and they charge 45 bucks should be $20 besides usbhabing to wait 35 mins after check in for them to finish cleaning it wasn't bad.

The room and view were fantastic. Very clean! The shower/bathroom was so nice. The view of the city was amazing even from our 4th floor room. Staff was overall friendly. The bar/restaurant was never open for times that they were posted to be open, that was the only complaint we had. The location was convenient to the subway about a 5 minute leisure walk and about 25-30 minutes into Manhattan via train. Lots of convenience stores and little delis nearby. We got pizza delivered from Robs pizza and it was great! Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Overall great stay and would stay here again!

The staff, Elmer and the other gentleman were pleasant when we arrived. When I called down for a few things each time asking for something, an employee arrived very quickly which I appreciated. When we checked out the attendant gave my daughter a lollipop which was kind of him to do. I only had 2 complaints. The first one is that there are only 11 parking spaces on the property, so you have to drive around looking for parking. My second complaint was the attitude and lack of initiative taken by the Saturday night front desk attendant. When we left the hotel around 8:30 Saturday the snow began to fall. When we returned 3 hours later no one had cleaned the sidewalk or the walkway to the front door or even put down salt. When we mentioned it to the attendant he said, "I will let my husband know." If I was litigious, you would have heard from my lawyer since my 83-year-old mother fell down outside on your sidewalk! this could have been prevented!

My partner and a friend of ours stayed here for a weekend trip. While we had a place to. comfortably rest for our evenings, there were several issues we ran into. I've created a Pros and Cons list below. Pros: - Staff was helpful in answering questions and assisting with accommodations - Comfortable beds Cons: Misleading information on website - The main reason I was drawn to this hotel was the location and bar. The bar and restaurant has been closed since 2020. - Pay for parking - costs $45 per night with no guaranteed space - Fridge is essentially a freezer - every food item we place in the fridge completely from - Small room - There was roughly a foot of space between the beds and desk - Bathroom lacks privacy - It was basically a giant glass cube that was slightly tinted Unfortunately I can't recommend this place.

The bed sheet was dirty and has stained on them and when they moved us to a differrent room the toilet was clogged and the aircondition was not working. I am niy recommending this hotel.

The air conditioner was broken, the ice machine on our floor didn't work, and the shower was roll in, which is great for folks who need the accessibility but with no bottom lip to keep water in, and no drain in the bathroom it just made the bathroom a slippery nightmare I slipped after a shower, hitting my head causing a minor concussion for which I still need to seek medical care for and messing my back up. It was when I was in pain on the floor that I noticed that the bathroom was covered in rat poop.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The room has grime on the walls, the toilet seat cover and curtains had burn holes and the comforter for the bed had stains. Called the front desk and asked for a new comforter because of the stains and they brought up a very thin throw blanket that had hard bits stuck to it that looked like candy or food.

Very dirty, hairs on bathroom floor and in the shower, stains on the bedding, no heat in the room, no hot water, no batteries in t.v. Remote. Overall this place is a disgrace. My family stayed in another room and it was the same.

I grew up in Sunset Park but moved out of state years ago. This hotel was perfect—close to my old neighborhood, allowing me to visit family, park easily, and walk everywhere. Everything was spotless, the room was fresh, and I’ll definitely be back in April! Can’t wait to try the smoothies and get there early enough for the entrées!

Pleasantly surprised by this little hotel. Just stayed one night pre-cruise. The price was reasonable and location was great. There were local restaurants nearby along with a Dunkin Donuts, liquor store, and a public park. The hotel was quiet and clean. The room was spacious by NY standards. The bedding was super comfortable. The bathroom walls are translucent glass which is off-putting; especially if traveling with friends and not a spouse; hope you're not bashful. The cookies offered in the lobby were some of the best I've had in years; like my Mamma would make. Highly recommend this hotel.

While the overall stay was very good, we had numerous problems. For one, our connection with WIFI was spotty at best (passwords changed by the day and finally wouldn't work for our iPads but ok for laptop). Another, the TV was hard to operate (the screen said "no guest checked in - and we could not get to Guide); the phone connection to the front desk didn't work and we had to use Operate to get someone); the room safe wouldn't open and we had to have the maintenance guy come twice to open it).

Nothing fancy, but the staff was nice and the property was fine. The room was small, but it had most of the stuff I needed. The area is kind of rough -it’s dirty and rundown. There is a 24 hour laundry mat across the street, so that’s what shines into the window at night. There were no blackout curtains, so it was bright in the room. The hotel is close to Industry City which has a lot of nice shops and restaurants.

The rooms are very small. I booked an executive suite and my husband and I couldn’t even pass each other in the room. What if I were in a regular room? Other than that the staff was great and the facility is clean.

A fantastic, affordable, clean hotel - really close to a subway stop and right around the corner from a delicious 24-hour diner. Truly the perfect hotel for an NYC vacationer who doesn't mind hopping the subway to get to the more tourist-y stuff in Manhattan. Every time I talked to one of the workers, they were really polite and helpful.

The only 2 things I had an issue with: 1. I waited on line to check-in for about 20-25 mins because there was some kind of technical issues happening with the front desk computer. The man behind the counter did not acknowledge the line or explain what was happening or how long it would be before we can check in. 2. The bottles in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner were completely missing (just the wall attachment was there). I called the front desk to ask for them to replace it and no one came. Later that night, I asked the front desk to have someone come in the morning (she also gave me bar soap in the mean time) and when housekeeping came in the morning, they gave me shampoo instead of bodywash. I ended up using shampoo as body wash the entire stay because bar soap dries out my skin.

The nightly rate is unbelievably high for the neighborhood. The parking fee is inflated. The staff were indifferent and odd to say the least. As I frequently travel, especially to NYC, this was the first time I’ve ever stayed anywhere and felt slightly uncomfortable with the entire situation. The staff came to knock on the room door before check out. I will not return or recommend this establishment.

Very friendly clerk was proud of the neighborhood (where he lives) and volunteered good suggestions about where to go. Great neighborhood for Mexican food and close to good places to walk like Sunset Park and Green Wood cemetery. Really good price for NYC. Really close to the D line, especially helpful for travel into Manhattan.

We were happy to find this place, with a good location (close to subway access), that wasn’t several hundred dollars on a Thursday night. We had a 24 hour layover and wanted a good night sleep before we spent the day exploring. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that because the AC in the room was not adequate. Despite it being on all night, the room never got cool enough. The customer service could also be improved as small things we asked for were refused (ex. Letting us fill up our water bottles in the breakfast area before we left for the day). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable - if the AC was working better, this score would have been higher.

Good choice for a 2 day quick trip. Would never stay for longer than that. No water fountain… have fun buying all your water. Very poor water pressure in shower… Also had to wait 5-10 mins for the shower to get hot. Walls in the room were smeared with brown residue/ spots. Did not feel super clean. Wouldn’t come back, staff and managers were very nice though. Surrounding area is pretty rough, lots of drug use on the street near the building. Does not feel safe to bring children.

Nice place to stay if you wanna be away from the noise of Manhattan when it's time to go to bed. Quiet, fairly safe area, and nicely located a 7 minute walk to the subway station. Hotel itself was clean and very nice/modern relative to other hotels in the area at this price point. Not in a trendy Brooklyn neighbourhood like Park Slope, Williamsburg, or DUMBO, but for a nice place to rest and sleep, I would definitely stay here again.

I like everything. The continental breakfast has a lot of healthy choices. The whole place was great. I love that a lot of places to go and eat are all nearby. The only thing I didn't like much. The streets need more illumination and cleaning.

I didn’t like that the hotel charged me $15 for a cup of yogurt, a muffin and a very small coffee. I understood that continental breakfasts are usually included in the price of the room. When I complained to the manager, he told me that free continental breakfasts don’t exist anywhere. He told me he recently paid 48 euros for a continental breakfast so I was getting off easy. I checked out and went to a different and less expensive hotel where breakfast is included and the general manner isn’t a liar.

The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful but the restaurant wasn’t really a restaurant and there’s limited options you can walk to in that neighborhood. There is zero parking, the hotel has a tiny parking lot. The subway station was at least a mile away. It was ok but not worth the price
