Heated pool that was actually warm!!! 92-95 degrees!

Front desk was awesome, easy check in, condo was very clean, security walked around property often. Parking was close to beach/room.

Terrible customer service. The property is good but the Manager is terrible with customer service she had one of my vehicles toad away when they had told us to park there. I had to pay near $300 to get the car back.

Parking is annoying but loved out stay here.

2 week Family holiday vacation at Tiki SPI. We reserved 3 condos to accommodate everyone and as stated in description each is individually decorated. One was beautifully decorated and updated. One was very nice but 3rd appeared not to have had any updates since built. It definitely needed an overall redo on pretty much everything- paint, lighting, furniture, etc. Additionally its kitchen was poorly supplied with items needed to cook or eat and contained a variety of mismatched plates, glasses and silverware. The location is excellent walk out right on beach and convenient to restaurants and shops. The pool was nice but spent most of time on beach. The on site laundry is nice andtowel exchange good except you only get 1 dish towel...that is enough since the only exchange tue/thur thats 5 days with 1 towel. They definitely are NOT kidding about towing. We rented golf cart after office was closed so couldn't get permit so it was towed away. Oddly i never saw a single security guard so not sure how that is monitored. The onsite grills were great but ended up closing some for repairs so limited to just 1 or 2 for whole complex I did feel that the owners were a bit put off by renters Overall it was a wonderful time and i would recommend staying and would return

The property was very clean and the staff was super friendly! We were obsessed with how spacious the balcony was! There’s a private beach access that we can get to through the property but there is also a public beach access that anyone can enter through right next door. The pools were spacious and clean. And there’s security constantly surveilling the premises. Overall it was a great trip! And my family enjoyed every aspect of the condominium’s.

Really liked that it was very close to the beach. I didn't like that towels were only exchangeable on Tues and Thursday from 11 - 1 PM. Check in was easy.

They would only allow towel exchanges on Tuesday and Thursday. This is very inconvenient if you are only staying for the weekend. Asking several employees, their response was that they dont have acces to extra towels except on those days. Other than this, the stay was great.

What a great property! Excellent location, steps off the beach. Right beside Bar Louie for fun times and good eats. Also beside the pier which does fireworks every Friday and Saturday night from Mid May through summer. Property is old, no elevators, but stairs are navigable, ocean balcony was fantastic. We are certain to come back.

Floor and bed where dirty

We have stayed at the Tiki property several times, the grounds are beautiful and they are always out working to maintain them. Out of all the condos we have rented at the Tiki, this was the worst one. Upon opening our condo door, we were greeted by underwhelming decor and furniture arrangement, and we were overwhelmed by a perfumed filled space that we quickly found to be a deodorizer in the bathroom toilet. It reminded me of a gas station bathroom. We quickly wrapped that up in a tight bag and over the next 3 days the odor dissipated. The main light in the seating area was bent, the walls and baseboards are dingy and need repainted, the pillows were nice and bed was comfortable. The comforter and shams are showing signs of wear, they were becoming unstitched. The air conditioning was cold and nice, it has a distinct squeak which made sleeping a little difficult. There was no shampoo, body wash, or towels for the beach provided. There were also no oven mitts in the kitchen, this made taking our food out of the oven a little tricky, but me managed. Toilet paper extremely thin. This unit has so much potential, I hope by writing this review positive improvements will be considered.

The pool was clean probably the only upside about it. Notice a lot of tiny roaches around the kitchen area the bed kind of sinked in the middle the remotes didn’t work for the TV. I had asked for someone to come check it out from the office and they never came.

In general, it was a good experience, the place was clean, although, in the bathroom there was fungus in the shower and the floor was a bit dirty.

We enjoyed our stay except for the nats that were in the condo, and it was not cleaned good, bed very comfortable, beach super close.

Everything about our stay was excellent, BUT was appalled by the air freshener that was chosen for the room. I thought I had walked into a toilet bowl. Having lived at the island before and experiencing the moisture and sometimes muggy conditions inside of a room, I was familiar. The use of a toilet bowl freshener stuck in the air conditioning intake vent, really needs to be reconsidered. As a Director of a Municipal Facilities I have experienced the Custodial Staff using the same selection odor killers. Please reconsider.

Convenient walking distance to the beach. Cleanliness was average, there were hairs in the bathroom and bed.

We had a wonderful stay! Super clean, employees were are very nice and great beach access! Highly recommend!!

The people are very nice, but this place is super old. Everything was clean when we checked in. But there was still grime on the baseboards and walls. It hasn't been deep cleaned in years. There are no fans. After checking in and being there for 2 days, we noticed roaches in the closet climbing all over our stuff. It's just a yucky place.

The condo was very clean.

Cute place and everything you need for a beach stay. The only downfall was the AC. The lowest temperature would get 75, and the highest was 77. The nights would have been more relaxing if the temperature stayed cool enough to sleep. Also, the tv did not have any channels, if anyone is interested in watching it.

Condo is in great condition except for the stove. I was planing to cook breakfast and I had to throw eggs away, very disappointed.

I love the Tiki. I've been coming since 2013. But the condo that I recently stayed in is a little outdated. It needs a new couch. The one they have is old and dirty. The room smelled like old people smell. I'm not one to really complain. e.outdated.ineeds It an

The Kitchen needs to be updated and the shower door needs to be replaced or repaired. The mattress in bedroom was hard and worn needs to be replaced other the that my wife and i had a great time pool was nice and beach was great. Outside light in patio didn't work wire to light socket was broken needs to be repaired

Some of the plugs are loose to where the plgu falls down on its own but they still work

We have stayed at TIKI multiple times in multiple rooms. This room was smaller but it was great for my husband and myself. The only thing is that there is not a television in the bedroom in this unit. Just an FYI.

The area is nice. Staff was nice and helpful. Our condo/apartment could use some updating. Kinda run down on the inside but was fine enough. The door would get stuck every time we went in and out and we called and maintenance squirted some WD-40 but it didn’t help. Door lock/handle needs completely replaced. Probably wouldn’t stay again. But was fine for the few days we were there.

Condo was nice and clean Kitchen was lacking some essential tools.

Great location! Short walk to the beach and near several restaurants! Across the street from the turtle rescue. Pet friendly! Friendly staff! On the day of check-in the staff called to let us know our room was ready and we could check in early! It was about 3 hours prior to official check in. We had one issue with the tv. It wouldn’t stay connected to the Wi-Fi. We called the office in the morning as we were leaving for the beach and the came within minutes and resolved the issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and convenient location easy access to the beach and pool. Family had a great time!

Great experience. My kids had a blast, my husband had a blast, overall great. Pool was easy access from our room, beach was literally our backyard, front desk staff was very hospitable, quiet community, and felt very safe.

Customer service was great

The reservation process was very simple. Check in was fast. The area was well maintained and the landscaping was very good. The room was clean, comfortable, everything was nice. The Tiki has been around a very long time. But, I would rather stay there than other newer hotels.

Security staff is great

The space was nice and comfortable. Front desk is not very helpful giving instruction to get to our room. They failed to mention parking permit and was warned in a text message. Was a little upset to find out thru text message that checkout was 10:00am even when on the door in our room it clearly said 11:00am. I called the front desk to ask for a little more time and the rude young lady told me I need to read the agreement. There was no working with us or anything. In fact she even hung up on me.

I lucked out with this property. First time to SPI and enjoyed it. The Tiki is located across the street and a block down from the Nature Center, Sea Turtle Rescue and the convention center(free boardwalk). There are restaurants and the biggest beach bar next door to the Tiki(Clayton’s and Bar Louie). There just happens to be the sea turtle shopping store on the other side of the condo. We took advantage of free transportation but also rented a golf cart to explore the south side of the island and what it had to offer, more restaurants and shopping and beach front bars on the bay for sunsets!

I liked that it was right next to the beach

I love having the beach as our backyard! Excellent rooms, pools and walking distance to the beach! I will definitely be returning in the near future!

Loved how close we were to the beach, the view of the beach was amazing, and the pool was excellent. Staff was very helpful. Bars and Restaurants short walk next door. Fireworks from our balcony on Friday was fantastic! Will definitely book at the Tiki again.

Property right on the beach

The condo is just a few steps away from the beach and several activities available for the family to do. New store right next door. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Clayton’s and two more bars next door.

Great location, right on the beach. Walking distance to shop and restaurants. We were able to see the fireworks right from the patio. The condo is spacious, but did have a slight odor. This unit is not pet friendly and don’t forget to pack your seasonings. I plan to book this unit again in the future. It’s also very affordable for the great location.

The Tiki is right on the beach and makes it easy to come and go. The Tiki is at the quieter end of the island so it isn't as noisy.
