Residence Inn by Marriott Bangor

I liked the size of the room and continental breakfast in the morning. The hotel was located across the street from a concert venue I was attending which made it very convenient. The hot tub was not operational and parking was sparse when I arrived Friday night, but the restaurant downstairs seemed to be very popular and the reason for this. I had no troubles finding a spot to park on Saturday.

Great breakfast, clean pool with extended hours, quiet enough to sleep in a little later... my family and I loved it and would stay here again.

Property advertises an airport shuttle, but it only runs from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. I had to hire a taxi to catch my flight. Had I known that, I would have stayed on the airport property.

Large spacious rooms with all the amenities expected of a suite. Most impressed by the restaurant, Timbers, where excellent food, extensive bar and cosy atmosphere make for a friendly gathering spot.

Beds were comfortable but pull out couch was not usable to sleep on front desk service was excellent pool water was really cold restaurant was very busy but we did not eat there breakfast was like most hotels

Waited 45 minutes at the airport for shuttle pickup. Young lady at front desk unhelpful and dismissive. Unable to schedule shuttle back to airport on Sunday despite this being advertised as one of the hotel amenities. Allegedly coordinated with Fairfield in for a pick up for me. This shuttle never showed and ended up using Uber to get back to the airport. Should have selected a different hotel

Our favorite place to stay in Bangor. Clean, comfortable, excellent staff, and we appreciate being able to bring our Golden Retriever!

This one was okay. It was the closest Residence inn to Acadia. A little run down, but that didn't really affect us. Plenty of parking. We like that you can open the windows a little bit for fresh air.

We had a very large room, spotlessly clean and in great condition. We didn’t eat from the restaurant on-site, as there was an event going on at the theater next door and they were slammed. The breakfast buffet had plenty of protein options, not just the typical carb ladden choices. We were on to way to Canada, so needed one night to rest. Very easy off and on the highway. Definitely recommend!

Great service, the rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The bed was a bit uncomfortable as the pillows didn't seem to really have any support.

Very good stay first night: quiet, comfortable, etc. Second and third night, person/people on floor above our room sounded as though they were walking around with “combat boots” on. Luckily this disturbance didn’t last into the night.

Very nice property inside and out... we stayed in room 212... beautiful room but a lot of noise from outside on the roof and from plumbing in the walls... could hear toilets flushing and water trickling down the drains and the ac was also loud

The room was quite big and could host a group of 4 easily. The view from my second story window was blocked by rooftop vents and a man-made fence to block the view of the vents and workers. Had people on the roof, seems routine, would definitely ask for a better view next time where I can open my window curtains with privacy.

Perfect place to stop on our way. Updated rooms and comfy bed and pillows. The kitchen was a bonus feature for us. Clean rooms. Ate at the restaurant on site and it was very good. Will definitely be back.

This Residence Inn was lovely and in excellent shape. Every staff member we encountered was happy, friendly and helpful. Very professional. Breakfast and the attendants were excellent. I was here for only one night but in that time could not find a negative thing to say. If my travels bring me back to Bangor, I will be staying at this Residence Inn.

Check in time was 3, but when I arrived at 5 to check in, I wasn't able to. I had a half hour wait before I could go to my room because it wasn't ready.

Absolutely terrible took 3 hours later to have my room cleaned!!! Manager forgot to send cleaning lady !! But was not too busy to be outside smoking a cigarette!!!!

Great place! Very clean. When I checked in staff seemed irritated I did not check in online. It went smooth only took a few minutes and we were done. Not sure why it was a issue. Other then that the hotel was great!

The staff is Amazing

Exceptional customer service. They allowed me access to the conference room for an important Zoom meeting I needed to facilitate. Exceptional room that was well appointed and spacious. The Timber restaurant attached to the hotel is a must do for amazing food. A++

The location of the Residence is perfect for anyone attending an event at the Cross Insurance Center ! The only thing I found an issue with was while staying on the second floor, I had not found the vending machines or ice area out in the hallways.

We were attending a concert at Maine Savings Amphitheater and it was not more then a 5 minute walk away. Great staff, clean, friendly and continental breakfast had so much.

With kids above running around the room ceiling vibrates; overall condition equal to a holiday inn express but more expensive. Though within the building is The upscale Timber Restaurant (tasty selected foods as well as good vines and draft beers with well-coming staff and service) the hotel breakfast in selection and taste is subpar, in fact disappointing (or: “pack your knives and go”)

Fantastic property and staff. We arrived early, had a nap and then wanted a walk. We went along the river path across the bridge thinking we could loop around but it doesn’t go through. We were happy still but it was 5 mile walk. Great dinner at Timber and breakfast was just what we needed before airport. Casino was close but we didn’t go.
