The hotel was awesome. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had as far as hotel breakfasts go. The pool was good and clean. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Only 2 complaints are the hot tub was closed (looked like it had been for a while, there was a film on the water) and the elevator was broke almost the whole week we were there. Otherwise we will stay there again the next time we travel back to Ohio to see family in that area

A newer hotel, rooms were in excellent shape: nice, spacious, and clean. We loved the slightly separated couch area (couch also can be pulled out for a bed). Only downfall of the room was we could hear the hard steps and muffled voices of the guests on the floor directly above us - 3rd floor. Other minor drawbacks: standard hotel breakfast fare; small and limited fitness area; small pool but nice overall pool area. Still, would stay here again if in the area.

Breakfast was wonderful! There were waffles, eggs, sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits, plus all the quick breakfast items you would expect! The hotel was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The pool was fun for the kids. There is a nature preserve behind the property if you want a quiet place to walk, and the Hartville kitchen next door is a perfect spot to do a little shopping/ eating. I didn’t use them but there was a guest laundry room and workout space. They also had a little convenience shop area with quick snacks and microwave meals. We stayed for a dance competition nearby and it was a perfect “home base” for the weekend!

very nice visit. A quiet relaxing getaway with a visit to Hartville Hardware and home store, Hartville Kitchen, the chocolate factory and finished up our days with the pool and hot tub. The night clerk was also kind enough to let us know we left our lights on in our car and went out to turn them off for us. We appreciated him so much! The desk clerks were top notch, very friendly and welcoming. This was our 4th visit and we will surely be back.

It was a nice property, but I was really disappointed that the hot tub was broken the days we were there, that was one of the reasons we booked here. When you are disappointed in that the small things like always being out of complementary cookies or one of the elevators being out of order just add to your frustration. Standard breakfast, one day had bacon which was great. Even though I had some frustrations I still give it 4 stars because it was clean and the employees were all awesome.

Thank you for actually having a working pool and hot tub. The room far exceeded my expectations and was really lovely. Of all the options in the area I’m glad I drove an extra 15 minutes for amenities and comfort.

Clean, modern place to stay. Room was clean and stocked. Had tons of pillows with extras in the closet. Towels and items were restocked each day on our multiple night stay. Pool was open late which was nice. Quiet at night. Breakfast had a good amount of options of hot and cold food. Has beverage station at entrance with teas, coffee and lemon water which was nice. Staff was very friendly. Would stay here again.

This property was exceptionally clean and updated. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue was that since the reservation was made through Expedia.com, they book you in the "pet friendly" rooms even though we didn't have pets! The staff graciously changed us to a non-pet room and there no issues.

Frankly had I known this was a Choice Hotels property I would have avoided it like the plague as I’ve had nothing but horror stories with that chain. This location, however, was excellent. The room was clean and spotless. Everything was beyond clean. The people maintaining the rooms go above and beyond. 10/10. Would stay here again.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Good room layout for working and sleeping, with a half-height divider wall. Coffee good and even room coffee was good. Also microwave, mini-fridge. There is a small, wooded walking trail right behind the hotel too.

Breakfast was so-so (thought it would be better). Scrambled eggs were from a mix. Fruit not that great. Check-in woman was awesome - fast, very welcoming. When i got on an elevator, a very rude female staff member with long blond hair thought I was part of the maid staff and yelled at me, to hold the elevator - when she entered the elevator she apologized for her behavior. Personally, this experience gave me a negative impression of the Comfort suites hotel brand - when working around customers, barring an emergency like a fire, yelling at the customers or anyone inside what is supposed to be a relaxing atmosphere is 100% unacceptable!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When I got to my room, I found there was a problem with the TV. I called the front desk and the clerk came to my room immediately to try and resolve the problem. She found that she’d have to submit a work order for the next day, so she quickly assigned me a new room.

Great hotel for anyone with leisure travel around Hartville. Clean accommodations, good staff. Breakfast was good. Only issue is when we returned to the hotel the evening of 10/14, roughly 7:30pm, we found the door to our room 304 ajar. We didn’t ask for maid service. My wife and I remember closing the door securely. I reported this to the front desk. Also reported that room 308 door was ajar. The facility was actually very good, however I booked through Expedia and because of a miscommunication with the hotel, one of my rooms got cancelled and I didn't know it until we arrived. They charged me again for two nights and told me it would be refunded since I had already paid for the room through Expedia. However, when Expedia attempted to verify I had paid a second time and to request I be refunded, the hotel said they were going to stick by their cancellation policy and not refund the room. I then wrote the corporate office directly and never heard from them. Very frustrated. It seemed pretty cut and dry when it is obvious I paid for the same room twice, but it doesn't seem to matter to them.

We stayed 30 minutes further away than necessary just based on the reviews for this place and we were glad that we did. The hotel staff were tremendously helpful and friendly. The room was maybe the cleanest we've ever seen. The kids loved the pool. However, the real highlight of our stay was the continental breakfast. It was possibly the best breakfast that we've ever experienced staying at a budget-friendly hotel. Would highly recommend staying here if you are within 30-40 minutes of the property.
