Great place to stay. We stopped on our move from TX to AZ with a 22 foot moving truck and a dog. There was parking for larger vehicles and they are pet friendly. The rooms were very clean and the free breakfast was great. Everyone we talked to was very nice. We felt safe.

Staff very friendly and helpful. great full breakfast open until 9am. The pool was open at convenient times. Overall looks nice and pretty clean but Needed some minor repairs/maintenance inside room and out at pool(railing still not attached since last summer). No freezer in fridge( week before that room had one) so hard to refreeze cooler packs for remaining travel. Ac worked great you can hear some road noise but a little does not bother me. overall a good value for what I get/use

My family stayed here one night while passing through on a road trip. The staff was wonderful in helping with some issues but the facility itself needs attention. The elevator button was missing, one elevator wouldn’t stop unless you pushed the door open button, the bathroom toilet smelled and had a ring due to not being cleaned and the sheets, although clean, was so old it had heavy pilling that made it feel like you had tons of sand in your bed.

When you first arrive at the hotel, it is very clean in the lobby and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, when you got off the one working elevator on the second floor, the carpet was badly stained and had a bad odor. Our room carpeting was okay and reasonably clean. The ice machine on the second floor was broke. The breakfast was very good and had a nice selection to choose from. The dining area was very clean.

When we arrived the computers weren't working. Got to our room AC was loud changed rooms and next room was loud. Stayed in that room. Went down to the pool and hot tub and the hot tub area has been cemented in. That was the main reason I picked this hotel. Breakfast had lots of choices. Hotel was very clean.

The room was comfortable and hotel had all the amenities I needed. Friendly staff. The free breakfast was good. I enjoyed the pool one of the days during my stay. It was nice to cool off during Texas hot day. There is a gym but I have not used it. All in all the stay was excellent.

The property was just what we needed. After being on the road from our trip from Tennessee we stayed for 2 days. The rooms were clean, beds where comfy and kids enjoyed the Wi-Fi. The breakfast in the morning was your typical hotel breakfast but the special Texas Belgian waffle was the biggest hit with the kids. The hotel bar was slim pickings but still good after a long trip. Staff was amazing. Special shout out to Renee from housekeeping who went out of her way to make us feel very welcomed. She took time to joke around with the kids and chat with the adults. If we are ever around again we will stay again for sure. Totally recommend this place. Also, pets are very welcomed. We had 2 rooms with 2 service dogs and 1 dog (pet). The exercise room is also very nice and spacious.

The attendant at the front desk was unpleasant, she was ranting racial remarks about, “Hating Iranians”, which were the group of men checking in before us. The room smelled strongly like urine, the toilet was filled with pee upon arrival, there was holes all in our comforter, out of the 6 bulbs only two worked in the bathroom and those flickered uncontrollably, the microwave & coffee maker were filthy, the swimming pool had vomit and beer cans floating in it, the pool ladder was unattached and dangerous, there were broken windows on the hotel in the pool area, one of the elevators was inoperable, the elevator buttons were broken in the working elevator but dried liquids of some sort lined the inside. The outside property was littered with trash. My stay was incredibly uncomfortable but it was too late to try and find a replacement. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are okay with unkept and dirty.

Our room was spacious, but some of the lights in the room did not work, two bathroom lightbulbs were burned out and the entry light was also burnt out. The door stuck really bad and we had to push hard to open and close it and it made an awful noise. The sofa bed mattress needs to be replaced, and no internet for the tv. Also we had a deluxe room and had 4 persons in the room, only 2 hand towels, 3 wash cloths and 3 towels and housekeeping needs to check for soap only 1 little bar, and dust the shelf under the sink very dirty as was most of the furniture. Breakfast was decent.

This time the experience was terrible. As we got on to the room no lights. The TV was not working? Nor direct TV. The bed had a couple of blood spots. The sheet had stains like poop. No hhand soap.

We have always loved La Quinta hotels, especially after all the remodels they have done to their hotels in recent years, and have always been pleased with our stays. But unfortunately that was not the case with La Quinta in Monahans! We arrived to 4 staff members sitting on the benches, smoking at the front door…. such a lovely way to be greeted. We proceeded to our room which smelled like dog pee and there were visible paw prints and stains on the couch. The floor was filthy and the walls in room looked like they had a sticky substance on them. We immediately walked back out and asked for a refund but unfortunately the staff would not give us one. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!! I know La Quinta can do better than this! Do better La Quinta, Monahans.

Staff at this hotel is excellent. We had a really late check in and they worked with us with no problem. The room was ok. The beds looked clean but the bathroom needed to be cleaned. There was a dead bug on our floor which was ok but there was also drip marks around the toilet. I dropped something and when I was looking for it I could see how dirty the floor was in the bathroom. The walls in the sleeping area looked like someone threw something on it and no one cleaned it up. Definitely can use some cleaning. Other than that it was a good stay for what we needed.

We had a nice, comfortable stay. We were traveling with 2 small kids and they had a crib available which was very convenient. We arrived late for breakfast but they stayed open and waited for us to finish. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy, plus waffles, boiled eggs and a bunch of other grab and go items. Will continue to stay here each time we come by.

Breakfast was awful. They ran out of coffee. I was expecting a hot breakfast but apparently that’s only on weekdays, not weekends! Waffle batter machine didn’t work. No milk. I went to desk and asked for more coffee. She did come and check the supplies but NO HOT BREAKFAST!

The room was big. Over all cleanliness was not great, stained carpet in the halls and the pull out mattress had stains as well. We arived a little after 4 and our room was not ready, while we only had to wait 5/10 minutes, it would have been a great inconvenience if we had arived around 3 like we had planed. There was no hot breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and the hot breakfast that we did get on Monday was not cooked enough, eggs runny and biscuits still doughy. This won't apply to any one else (maybe) but the lady cooking breakfast on Monday was on her phone yelling at someone the whole loby could hear her she was even loud enough I couldn't hear the tv.
