We recently stayed at The Break Hotel on Point Judith for a one night stay. It was our first stay at this hotel, but it will not be our last. This cute boutique hotel is so welcoming. It is a short bike ride to several beaches and a short drive to the picturesque fishing harbor of Galilee where you can grab a delicious fresh fish lunch and also catch the Block Island Ferry. We loved the staff, the sauna and heated saltwater pool, as well as the cute and well appointed room and the romantic in-room fireplace. The lobby is quite pretty with a beautiful fish tank and places to hang out or play a game. We also enjoyed a walk around the area where there are several restaurants in walking distance. We loved the delicious cocktails and personable staff at the rooftop bar and the delicious included breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our Tuesday stay. We loved riding to the beach on the free bikes provided. We highly recommend and look forward to a future stay.

EVERYthing about The Break Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! My daughter and I traveled to RI for the first time, and came in blindly. The hotel is so charming, from the lobby details, the pool, the colorful art deco/retro decor....we loved it! Our room was so comfortable and clean, and we loved having the balcony for fresh air and daylight. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE, and you can tell it's boutique-hotel style, with all of the extra touches in the buffet items (which is included!). The rooftop restaurant is again charming and cozy, with colorful umbrellas and great food and drinks! The hotel has a water view as you look down each cross street and is located closeby to a local coffee shop (Surf Exchange) and the ferry terminal to Block Island. The staff of The Break Hotel was EXCELLENT and so personable and friendly, which is sometimes hard to find these days. From the front desk manager to the cleaning crew to the restaurant and bar staff....I was able to have all of my questions answered and they offered suggestions which helped make our trip to Narragansett all that much better! If I could give 6 stars, I would! My daughter and I would recommend staying here to anyone and we will for sure be back.
