Dejligt værelse, her føler man sig med det samme hjemme og godt tilpas. Der er adgang til god kaffe, te og koldt vand med og uden brus på etagen. Lækker sauna i kælderen (tidsbestilling). Beliggenhed i gåafstand til den gamle bydel og tæt på sporvognen. Sødt og hjælpsomt personale. Vi havde kun gode oplevelser på stedet og bor her gerne igen næste gang vi kommer til Basel.

Quiet courtyard facing room. Excellent front desk. I’m not a fan of the linen duvet cover/pillows, but that’s personal preference. Note no hair conditioner, if you need that. Free water/coffee/tea on each floor. Easy walk from sbb.

Initial room adjacent to elevator, which was very noisy - relocated us to much better room, w/o too much haggling. Room spacious, & clean. Great Workout/ Sauna areas. Abit noisy at night but fine for one night. Parking and room tax issue at end of stay. I informed them to put on room card. Did not happen and they keep sending me emails to pay- grr.

Industrieel gebouw met hoge plafonds, veel beton en eigentijds ingericht met kunst en mooie meubels. Parkeren onder het gebouw. 3 min lopen van het Kunstmuseum Basel en hier kwamen we voor. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst met uitgebreide uitleg over faciliteiten en omgeving. Kregen een Baselpas voor gratis openbaar vervoer en 50% korting op musea. Kamer was ruim met zitgedeelte en origineel ingericht; zelfs 2 kamerplanten, kleurplaat als geinig detail. Badjassen voor de sauna, heerlijke zachte en ruime bedden. Apart toilet en fijne regen douche. Op de gang kon je onbeperkt koffie & thee maken en stond een gevulde fruitschaal. We hebben geborreld in het restaurant en hadden het zo naar ons zin dat we ook zijn blijven dineren. uitgebreid en goed ontbijt. Bij het uitchecken kregen we ieder een flesje water voor onderweg. Dit typeert direct het hotel: zeer gastvrij.

Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Checkin und Checkout kann online erfolgen. Der Einrichtungsstil hat uns sehr gefallen. Hochwertige Pflegeprodukte waren in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Auf jedem Stockwerk gibt es Mineralwasser, Kaffee und Tee sowie Obst kostenlos. Es sind die kleinen Dinge die happy machen 😀 Sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist üblich umfangreich für diese Hotelklasse allerdings mit 28 CHF recht teuer.

I enjoyed the size of our room. We enjoyed having the privacy of the sauna area one night. The idea of having a coffee station was a good idea with fresh fruit available . At our check in Mika was very helpful pointing out areas in Basel to visit. The hotel is close to the tram service which is also complimentary . We used it a couple of times to explore. Hotel is close to Starbucks and restaurants that are very walkable. I felt I made a very good choice with this hotel.

Nice hotel close to the city centre, main station and tram stop. Nice gym and a private sauna you can book which was great. Free fruit on each floor with still and sparking water taps, Nespresso coffee and tea. Breakfast seemed quite pricey so we just ate the free fruit and bought some stuff in the supermarket around the corner. One thing, the toilet had a kinda funny door and you have a gap when it is closed to it is not super sound proof.

Wonderful hotel. The room has lots of great storage spots and despite booking the one person room, I was impressed with the fact it fitted a small table and padded bench. Staff were also lovely and the property has a wonderful, lively atmosphere. They were also able to support my late night (flight delayed) check in by leaving my doorcard in a little lockable safe outside the entrance. Amazing. Only minus points were hearing a low rumble of the tram every now and again, as well as hearing the neighbouring room one night. Regardless of this, I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others visiting Basel.

Nice new hotel on a quite street, near the river and walkable to the train station. Busy street around the corner - markets and restaurants galore. (But very sleepy on a Sunday - as is much of Switzerland). Top floor rooms have a nice deck and those deluxe rooms are worth the extra price. Coffee makers down the hall, with fresh fruit offered. Bar downstairs is very pricey. NOTE: I am very certain that the Nomad listed Air Conditioning as an amenity when I booked. (I always check). The listing has changed. And to be clear, the Nomad does not have Air Con. We were there when the car said it was 37.5 (99.5 F) when we pulled up. It was not welcomed to have such a hot room.

The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The room was super modern and stylish (I loved the design details), and little touches like a refillable water bottle and a Dyson air purifier really stood out. The location is also spot on: an easy walk from the train station and close to all the main sights and great restaurants. I’m not sure what anyone could dislike, though to be fair, I was only there for one night… maybe not long enough to find any flaws! 😄 Would definitely stay again.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was cosy with a cool fit out and interesting items. We did have noise problems being next to the lift and the restaurant/bar playing loud music under us until late. The staff did an amazing job relocating us to a quieter room (even when it was fully booked out) and made sure we were happy.

Erneut ein Aufenthalt den wir sehr genossen haben. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer toll und voller spannenden, praktischen und schönen Details. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben sind die sehr bequemen Betten und die tolle Bettwäsche. das ist auch in guten Hotels inzwischen selten geworden. Wir kennen in Basel sehr viele Hotels, das Nomad ist wahrscheinlich eines der Besten.

Being a foreigner in Switzerland, I would have liked the TV to be really able to show subtitles. That was nearly impossible to do. The room was wonderfully located and very decently sized. The AC unit in the room was only adequate, and given the unusual heat at that time, an AC unit which could be adjusted would have been preferred. However, I did love the idea of getting away from the hyper-expensive AC systems as an idea.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are really charming, go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Rooms really well appointed with great shower and comfy beds. It is also very centrally located, you can walk everywhere in less than 15 minutes. We were very happy at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Basel - you won't be disappointed! We were sorry to leave!

Wir haben einen runden Geburtstag von meinem Mann in Basel gefeiert und das Hotel war wirklich toll. Wir haben wegen dem Geburtstag kurzfristig ein Upgrade erhalten und im Restaurant am Abend einen Blumenstrauß, vielen Dank dafür. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, hochwertig und stylisch. Das Frühstück war auch wirklich sehr gut! Am ersten Morgen war es etwas laut, aber mit geschlossenen Fenstern konnte man schlafen. Am zweiten Morgen war es sehr ruhig, da keine Müllabfuhr etc. unterwegs, aber für ein Hotel mitten in der Stadt ist das völlig normal. Die Lage war unschlagbar, konnten Vieles zu Fuß erreichen und es fahren mehrere Trams in direkter Umgebung, zum Bahnhof kann man sogar laufen. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch alle sehr freundlich, grundsätzlich herrscht im Hotel eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Direkt vor unserem Zimmer war die ‚Bar‘ mit Wasser, Kaffee, Tee und Obst.

I had a great stay here for a week long business trip, the staff are friendly and ensure that you have a really enjoyable and stress free stay. The hotel itself has a trendy vibe but with everything you need including great breakfast, delicious food and drinks for day and evening as well. I’ll be heading back for my future trips to Basel!

Nice hotel in walking distance to the attractions and restaurants. Room is clean and comfortable. Best experience is the daily breakfast, the best I had in this region. Foods are high quality and staffs are very friendly.
