My stay at this hotel was SIMPLY THE BEST!It excels it’s 5 star rating by employing people (staff) who are courteous,friendly,helpful and went the extra mile to make my stay a memorable one.I was so impressed by their professionalism.The services were excellent and my interaction with each staff member working for this hotel was something I will cherish. I will definitely be returning to stay and luxuriate in the spa to enjoy an equally stunning cocktail created by Mate and Andy @ the bar!

Had a really great week at the Kempinski it is really well located directly next to the capitol theatre and city hall MRT. Their easy access to one of Singapore's massive connected walkways, from the Kempinski you can get to at least 4 malls and two MRT stations without ever needing to go outside. The proximity of the theater also means there are so many great dining options it would take months to get bored. But location is only half the story, the hotel itself is great, we booked an executive suite which came with executive lounge access and it was definitely worth the upgrade, just to have a little piece of calm in what can be a hectic city was worth it all by itself, even if we weren’t able to use it as much as we wanted as we were always on the go. The staff were also super friendly and helpful and seemed to really care, not just that your stay was good, but that you enjoyed the city (in fairness this was an overriding impression I got across Singapore, everywhere you went people were so proud of the city and wanted to show you the best.) So it may not be exclusive to the hotel, but every member of staff I met exemplified this behaviour and made our stay amazing. 100% will be staying here again for all future trips to the Lion City.

Right from check in out stay was fabulous, Emily was so efficient and professional, she had an early check in for us and a late check out. Emily showed us to our room which was so spacious and luxurious. There was 5 restaurants to choose from and a beautiful bar. We were within walking distance of the raffles area and there was everything you needed within walking distance.

Die Zimmer sind schön, aber absolut unpraktisch konzipiert. In der Dusche steht eine Steinbank, die es unmöglich macht den einen Duschkopf zu benutzen. Also bleibt nur die Regendusche. Diese lässt sich nicht einschalten ohne erstmal kaltes Wasser abzubekommen. Den Fön habe ich lange gesucht. Der war unter dem Schreibtisch. Die Möbel sind teilweise in sehr abgenutzten Zustand. Nicht schön fand ich, dass auf den Oberflächen (Tische, Badamaturen etc.) noch die Gläserränder von den Vorbewohnern zu sehen. Es wurde nicht gut gereinigt. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da und konnten es ignorieren. Das Frühstück ist top und lohnt sich im Hotel dazu zu buchen. Das Servicepersonal ist auch sehr freundlich und pragmatisch.

シンガポールはいつもはシティホールの高層ホテル滞在でした。今回初めてのケンピンスキーでしたが、どこよりもゆったりとしていて7日間落ち着いて過ごせました。フロントやドアマンの方々もとても行き届いた対応をしてくださりいつも助けられました。メトロ・バスともにアクセスがよくどこに出るのも便利です。とくにbus stopが目の前にあるので今回はバスを自由に使えるようになりました。ホテルの一階のレストラン街や地下モールにも美味しいレストランがたくさんあり食事には困りませんでした。 5分ほど行くとFUNANショッピングモールに地下から繋がっていてここもとても魅力的なビルでした。お部屋も清潔でなによりトイレがシャワールームと独立していることが嬉しかったです。また来年もよろしくお願いします！ National DAYのお菓子美味しかったです。ありがとう💕

去年に引き続き2回目の滞在です。お部屋はヘリテージルームですが、充分広く毎日丁寧にお掃除・ベッドメイクしてくださり、1週間とても快適に過ごせました。朝食ビュッフェは多国籍の品々が並び見てるだけでも楽しめました。1週間いても全種類食べきれないほどでした。食事に関しては近隣にキャピトルモールやFUNAN のフードコートがあり全く不自由はありませんでした。アクセスに関しては、メトロCITY HALLの駅がすぐ近く、バスにおいてはホテルの真ん前にバス停がありどこへ行くのも便利に使いました。スタッフの方々も皆さん親切で友好的です。私の拙い英語にも丁寧に対応してくださり感謝しております。また来年の夏休み来ますね。

Stayed at Capitol Kempinski on 2nd May 2025. Flight landing time was before the check in time & arrived at the hotel early. Staff was kind enough to provide a room. Unfortunately the linen and pillows had stains on them. Unsure why ? The room had to be changed, which was not that convenient. It will be difficult to return to the hotel or recommend it to others.

Pleasant heritage building close to main transport hubs and shopping to suit all budgets . I was under the impression that I would have an open balcony but this was enclosed with no option to access fresh air in the room . The room was nonetheless comfortable with good modern amenities. It was a fair trek to the breakfast area but that daily hike just allowed one to indulge in the wide variety on offer with a guilt free conscience. More than happy to revisit this venue .

We hade not stayed with The Kempinski Group before, but were amazed with the Capitol in Singapore. It is a fantastic boutique hotel in a beautifully renovated old theatre building a very central location. The room was amazing, big and well decorated with a great bathroom and fittings. The bar and restaurant are decored in period style and befitting of Singapore. A delight which we will stay again.

The hotel was clean, staff were great and buffet breakfast was amazing. Room was generous size and well presented. Room was above a concert venue and heavy metal music kept us all awake the first night. Also, the $300 bond held on our credit card is yet to be returned (3 weeks post stay) even though they have confirmed via email that they will be returning it!

Within the refurbished Capitol building, this is an iconic hotel that excels in hospitality. The staff are the high point and work hard to accommodate guest needs. The only minor issue is that if you’re in a low floor the views from the guest rooms can be limiting - but unavoidable in such a building. Would happily stay again.

From the moment you arrive at Kempinski, you are made to feel welcome. This was our 2nd stay at Kempinski in the last 3 months and we came back this time as we were so well looked after on our first stay. You are treated by all staff with the utmost respect. We will definitely return again.

Check in waiting time was 20 mins. Upon arrival in reception, we were told to sit and wait but we were ignored for about 15 mins. I had to find someone to ask to check in. The staff attentiveness at reception needs some attention. Overall the stay was nice and the hotel very special. However, with some added focus from the staff to the guests, this place could achieve 6 stars.

We were put for three nights at the Ritz Carlton millennium because of the overbooking at the Capitol Kempinski. It was very disappointing and also it was the first time in our many travels to 6 continents that we were placed in a different hotel due to overbooking. But it was also an incredibly satisfying experience of how Kempinski staff, and especially their Revenue and Distribution Manager took care of us to make up for the disappointment. She was truly wonderful; professional, friendly and caring. We would like to stay at a Kempinski hotel in the future, largely thanks to her outstanding efforts.

Peerless, our #1 hotel. Combines brilliantly a great location, clean well appointed accomodation, great food (local and international dishes) but best of all attentive and genuinely engaged staff. Special mention to Cedan and Tommy for first rate welcome / check in. We'll definitely be coming back

I found the staff at the Capitol Kempinski to be so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately it was an overnight only, however, Tasha was able to get me an earlier check in which was great. The room I had was large with a separate bathroom. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was OK. Sometimes it depends on what you order. The Maître was lovely and he even brought me a magazine as I was dining Alone

Our recent stay at The Capitol Kempinski Singapore was truly memorable — one that will be part of my core memories. From the moment we checked in, Areen’s immaculate hospitality made us feel warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The next morning, Cheryl’s attentiveness at breakfast added a wonderful touch to our experience. While there were some hiccups — our breakfast orders were mixed up twice — the overall experience more than made up for it. After all, we’re all human, and a few small missteps can be easily forgiven when the service and sincerity shine through. Thank you to the team for making my birthday celebration such a special one. I look forward to returning again.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Wonderful breakfast buffet and Lobby lounge food and beverages. Centrally located with easy access to transportation. Room was very roomy with 3 adults. Loved the in room nespresso coffee and water provided daily. Left daughter to study at SMU as exchange student and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
