Enjoy the journey of our stay... We arrived at 2pm and were told if we wanted to check in early it was a $25 fee which seems like gouging. Most hotel brands allow you to check in a little early if the room is ready. But we paid it so i could take a call since they had no lobby to speak of. Next we were given a quick tour of the very falling apart property with sagging floors and scary steps. They talked up the hot tub which was the one amenity we were looking forward to because of the long drive. We were told you have to tell them half an hour before you use it so they can turn it on. Never heard that before...ever. we got to our room to find another guest in the form of a cockroach swimming in the toilet and a long black hair in the shower. The room smelled musty/moldy and gross. The beds were very uncomfortable and slid around a lot and the pillows kept sliding back off the bed. The property is very old and in disrepair. I stayed here 10 years ago under the previous owners and it was more shabby chic and the vibe was much more fun. Wont be staying again, its a tear down.

Check in process is cool. Got there super late and the staff was friendly and accommodating. So many neat features. There's a pool that stays open until 2:00 a.m. There's a hot tub that's 24/7. The kitchen stays open till 11:00 p.m. The bar stays open till 2:00 a.m. They'll even deliver your drinks to the pool area. Breakfast was delicious. Drinks were generously poured. Can't say enough about how nice it is not to have any kids around. There's live music. It's close to a free beach access. I will definitely be back. The only negative I can think of was the lack of friendliness from the owner. Maybe it's just me, but she gave off racist vibes. Totally a damn shame because everybody else who worked there was awesome.

The bar area, pool, jacuzzi is such a nice commodity! We were exhausted from the sun and wanted to wait until the sun went down to go to the beach.. we were able to relax and spend time outdoors here at the hotel and it was great! We almost bailed on the beach just to hang out at the outdoor barbar area here, the live band was great!

Great location. Amenities luke swimming pool, jacuzzi, on site bar. Great balcony, good entertainment. The bed was outdated and squeaky. Room was comfortable and appreciated the mini fridge, microwave and coffee.

It was cool because they have the hot tub but it def had temperature issues sometimes too cold sometimes too hot!! But it was awesome even when it was raining we would get in the hot tub but when it rains the whole place is kinda outside and it could be a walk to get to your room like ours was we would be soaked it’s just a porch through there, beach was walking distance liquor store other end of street the rooms were mediocre beds were hard but it was clean the staff is very friendly and offer you oil wipes for the tar on the beach, overall it was great to not have kids running around and u can drink by the 24 hr. pool and hot tub, we weren’t very pleased with room itself small TV and beds were hard and cheap blankets it’s a party hotel for adults if your looking for that there is a bar on site but a liquor store right down on the corner, would I come here agin sure but I def want friends to join us to make it a better experience as a party place not a romantic getaway.

This place is very cool for mature individuals. You can eat drink dance to live music without leaving the premises. You can enjoy the pool and the bar closes at 2: 00 am. Fun vibe and rooms were very clean and bed was comfy. They have live music that shuts down at Ten every night. Will be coming back. Coffee maker .microwave and small fridge in the room. A/C was COLD which I loved and ceiling fan as well which works for me. I love kids but not when I’m having “me time” splashing around and crying. lol 21 and over! Yes Amen hallelujah.

Upper Deck was what we thought it would be. A nice, clean small hotel. The service and staff was great, couldn't ask for any better people. Even though it was a little dated it was very clean and met what we wanted. Will definitely stay there again.

The property has terrible mold issues. We first stayed in one room and as soon as we walked in we smelled the dampness and mildew. Upon looking over the room we noticed that the ac was covered in mildew and what looked like black mold. I have asthma and I ended up having a flair up and having to use my inhaler. Once we notified the front desk they moved us to a different room which at first seemed fine, but once we looked at the walls we noticed multiple spots of black mold growing on walls, ceiling and fans that they tried to cover up with paint but it was clearly visible. Additionally, when we were checking in at the bar, the kitchen door was open and we noticed a giant moldy area right next to the food containers. We took pictures and videos of everything and we will be contacting local health department to perform an inspection since this was an apparent health hazard. Furthermore, the owner offered no kind of remediation and tried to threaten us with a lawsuit when we notified them that we will be filling a complaint with a health department.

Absolutely loved this property!! It’s cozy and secluded while being super close to the beach, rooms could be a touch more updated but for what you pay for it’s nice and clean. Absolutely amazing staff and great food and drinks at the bar while being super affordable! Will definitely be back!!

We liked the staff, and heated pool. Good location, close to bars, restaurants and groceries. Didn't care for overall condition of property. Had more of a motel vibe. Wasn't worth the nightly price, we paid.

We stayed at Upper Deck for a weekend beach trip and it was amazing. The front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Jenna was awesome throughout our entire stay. We love the shabby chic and 90s beach rental vibes. Beds were super comfy. The only thing that could improve is the water pressure, shower was pretty low pressure and toilet took a couple flushes. Either way, we will be back!! Thanks you UD!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. You can tell that the owner is working to improve the hotel overall. Honestly the staff is simply amazing... The rooms could use some TLC for the price. It was confusing how you pay for the hotel room but basically everything except the hotel room is public access. The music each night was enjoyable as well. We just didnt understand or rather we did not know that the pool was public for anyone who goes to the bar.

We stayed at Upper Deck for a weekend beach trip and it was amazing. The front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Jenna was awesome throughout our entire stay. We love the shabby chic and 90s beach rental vibes. Beds were super comfy. The only thing that could improve is the water pressure, shower was pretty low pressure and toilet took a couple flushes. Either way, we will be back!! Thanks you UD!

My wife and I agree, this was the best vacation, ever! Excellent in all areas. There is not enough room on this page to express how much we loved the food, cooks, bar, bartenders, front office staff, house keeping, maintenance, and the owner. We will be back!

Would have been 5 stars across except, we requested room service for our room and never got it. But, Cody & Taylor at the bar made trip enjoyable with all their assistance they provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Amenities luke swimming pool, jacuzzi, on site bar. Great balcony, good entertainment. The bed was outdated and squeaky. Room was comfortable and appreciated the mini fridge, microwave and coffee.

It was cool because they have the hot tub but it def had temperature issues sometimes too cold sometimes too hot!! But it was awesome even when it was raining we would get in the hot tub but when it rains the whole place is kinda outside and it could be a walk to get to your room like ours was we would be soaked it’s just a porch through there, beach was walking distance liquor store other end of street the rooms were mediocre beds were hard but it was clean the staff is very friendly and offer you oil wipes for the tar on the beach, overall it was great to not have kids running around and u can drink by the 24 hr. pool and hot tub, we weren’t very pleased with room itself small TV and beds were hard and cheap blankets it’s a party hotel for adults if your looking for that there is a bar on site but a liquor store right down on the corner, would I come here agin sure but I def want friends to join us to make it a better experience as a party place not a romantic getaway.

Absolutely loved this property!! It’s cozy and secluded while being super close to the beach, rooms could be a touch more updated but for what you pay for it’s nice and clean. Absolutely amazing staff and great food and drinks at the bar while being super affordable! Will definitely be back!!

This was my first time staying there. Everything was good however don’t stay in room 22, it’s right above the Spa! You can hear guests talking before 2am and after 2am. If you’re a light sleeper like my wife and I take ear plugs! The bar serves good salads and cold beer! My wife feel in love with the Greek Salad! We saw the singer of the group Toby Beau! Very friendly and talkative! Will stay there again! Amanda and Latasha were very helpful!
