The room was clean. The air conditioner had a smell to it. Like refrigerant. Bed was nice and comfy. Room was very clean. Lobby had no ac it was broke this weekend.

This is a solid 3-star hotel in a 5-star location. Unfortunately, we found the bed and pillows very uncomfortable and were unable to sleep for the entirety of our stay. You should know ahead that you must valet your vehicle for $25 per night. There is very little street parking and it is only 2-hour parking from 8am-6pm or you will receive a ticket from the city. The location is great - walkable to downtown and the bayfront and a short drive to the beach. The bar and pool areas are also nice. The staff was excellent. The walls are a bit thin, but like I said - it's a solid 3-star hotel in an otherwise very expensive area of town.

I was really impressed with this property. Excellent walkable location, affordable, nice common areas and bar, and fabulous pool!! We weren't even there on the days when the pool bar was open, that would be even better! Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Sarasota.

The property is in a great location on the quieter edge of downtown Sarasota, but within a 3 block walk of all the activities on Main Street. The facilities were new and nice. The ONLY complaint I have is that you need separate light switches for the shower/toilet room vs. the sink and vanity area. If there were two separate light switches, someone could use the restroom or shower without automatically turning on the light near the sink and vanity which shines in the main portion of the room waking up other sleeping individuals.

A great location in walking distance to many shops, restaurants and park across the street. Our room was not very clean especially the floors and top sheet of the bed. The AC was not working in the main lobby. The pool area and bar was nice. For the price I would probably pick a different hotel in the area

Beds and pillows extremely comfortable , HVAC system is comfortable and quiet (a common hotel problem and this was great). Extremely clean. Rooms small but fine. Lighting a bit harsh, not cozy but part of that contemporary decor style. Coffee in the rooms you will need to update on a daily basis since they only service the rooms every other day. Free coffee in th lobby in the morning is superb quality, I was really happy with the lobby coffee.

Extremely clean property. Showers and floor were super clean. Smelled good. No insects. Breakfast was just ok, it was not worth the price paid for it. Comfortable beds & pillows. Close to a lot of restaurants. Beautiful view of the pool from high floors. Really nice and spacious rooms. Good experience. Recommended.

Overall, it was a nice stay in a minimalistic style hotel. My only complaint is that they only make up the room every other day. The explanation given was that this practice was put in place during/after COVID because a shortage of help. I would think that 2 years later, the housekeeping would have been staffed. For over $200 per night, I think they could afford to hire extra help.

We had reserved two rooms for our weekend with friends. We arrived shortly after 4:00 and one of the rooms was not available and we had to wait for about half an hour for the room to be available. The hotel did comp us free drinks at the bar which was appreciated. The room that was immediately available had a little surprise for us. A prior guest had left their sex toy next to the ironing board! We brought this to the hotel's attention and it was immediately taken care of. The desk staff genuinely was aghast. Overall, this property did not seem up to the level of other Aloft properties we have visited. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best thing to say is location. Many things to do and see in walking distance. Rooms need some TLC. A/C was extremely loud cycling on and off that it woke us up all night. Decor not functional.,A sofa under the tv for what? Dusty shelves. Going to the bathroom at night… no small lighting in the bathroom area so everyone wakes up. Shower on/off loose. Barn door to shower hard to close completely and then won’t slide open. TV not programmed improperly. . Go to a channel and it’s completely different that what’s on the screen. Would not stay again. Disappointed in qualify for price paid.

Room wall paint is too datk, seems smaller than it actually is. AC males a lot of noise and blows to one direction only, one bed is super cold the other side of the room doesn’t enough air.

Nice and close to everything Dwotown Sarasota has to offer. Bars, Restaurants, a quick ride across the causeway to the Beaches and St. Armands. Hotel rooms are not carpeted. Sounds in adjoining rooms and those above you are easily transmitted. Heard the conversations of the people in the room next to us and the snoring from the person in the room above us. Would not stay here again for the noise issues.

I did not like the configuration of the room. There was no way to turn on the light in the bathroom without bathing the rest of the room in light. This was very annoying for my husband and myself.

stayed for one nite.. room was clean, efficient and high tech.. good window views and light.. bed and pillows very comfortable. shower good but took a while to get hot water both in the shower and sink.. drawbacks-materials in room are hard and do not absorb sound..so sound is amplified- including toilet use. very dark at nite and the small nite light was not adequate to find your way to the bathroom-had to open the shade overnite to allow some light into room for safety purposes. chair is good for working at desk but not for reading or tv watching..have to sit on bed to watch tv or read. ok for one nite but not a longer stay.. location is great...walkable to great restaurants , Whole Foods and Urbanite theater.. there is parking on the street

We were welcomed by Alexis upon arrival and she was awesome. Super kind and detailed and went above and beyond. Let us check in at 11:30 and gave us a room with a great view. The valet guys did a great job and were always very energetic and professional. Always smiling and ready to assist. And at the inside bar was Jacob. Awesome guy who did a great job and was super social and knowledgeable about the area. Kept the glasses full and was very attentive. The room was perfect and we enjoyed the pool table and the cleanliness. But the staff make it a 10 for us. We never met anyone who didn’t go above and beyond to make sure we were cared for. They are shining examples of what takes businesses to a whole different level of customer satisfaction. Keep it up Aloft. We will certainly be back. We visit Sarasota often and love your hotel.

Honestly my check in experience was traumatic staff treated me very poorly wasn’t a welcoming experience what’s so ever .. don’t recommend for anyone to waste time nor money on this hotel Honestly they don’t value their customers nor make the experience checking in & staying in feel welcoming honestly the worst weekend getaway experience yet.

Super hotel. Very stylish in great location in centre of sarasota. Parking is right outside but its first come, fist served and free btwn 2000/ 1100 or you can pay for valet parking. Best room we have stayed in for a while.

The hotel is in a great location and walkable to just about everywhere in downtown Sarasota. The bed is super comfy & pillows were great. The hotel is generally clean, but there are not a lot of amenities. I probably wouldn’t stay more than a night or two but for the price point and convenience it was perfect.

Great location, mostly friendly staff, adequate room, great rooftop pool area with cabanas and bar/live music, lobby a value-add with bar/comfortabel tables and pool table area, outside patio nice, very convenient to downtown shopping/retaurants... definitely over priced for king room we had (but they put us in an accessible room so that may have been part of the problem), bedding and towels minimalistic at best - not cozy or luxurious as intimated, advertises restaurant on website but no food on site except snacks for purchase, bar costs very expensive for offerings...would still recommend staying during non price-surge periods as it is a solid hotel with friendly staff and a great location

Great pool for lap swimming, an important consideration for me and my wife. Service was friendly and efficient. Clean, up scale vibe, centrally located. Bar is pleasing to look at and well stocked. Get breakfast some place else, which is easy from this location, as it is lacking in selection.
