When.i arrived the hoyel had no power. I had stay at a "sister property (staybridge) and at the end of my stay i was charged over $830 and now im waiting for a refund. I never stayed at the holiday inn

Was awakened at 3 am by Dearborn police loudly knocking on a nearby room door, threatening to knock it down unless the occupants opened up. Not a very reassuring middle of the night experience. Then the next morning at around 9:30 am the hotel power went out, despite the calm sunny skies outside. Complicated the check out process a bit. Overall not what we expected for the stay based on prior reviews. Would not stay there again.

This was a very old hotel and not up to the standards and reputation of a Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was very subpar and the cinnamon rolls were dried out. The hotel was rundown and had odors in the common areas such as hallways, lobby, and dinning area. Would not recommend.

My power went out at home. I booked a stay here for the night. It was 5 hrs into my stay and the power goes out for the rest of the night. I talked to front desk and corporate and have yet to be compensated for my stay.

Patio furniture shredded and faded. Corners under bathroom counter not clean. Underside of duvet shredded. Pool water murky over 3 consecutive days with apparently no regular care. Overall disappointing quality for a Holiday Inn Express.

The property itself was quite nice, our room was just very dirty. We had to wipe down the tables and the floor in the bathroom was covered in something. We also found several pills on the floor and the baby found a Cheeto and was eating it before we had a chance to stop him.

Stayed here for a night and left feeling underwhelmed. The bathroom and beds were adequate, but that's where the positives end. A broken light bulb in the lamp, grimy and loose door latch, broken desk chair, and slow-draining sink gave the room a run-down feel. The walls were dirty, and the artwork was missing, making the place look bare. The pool was so murky we couldn’t see the bottom, and breakfast was just okay. Paid $150 a night, but it felt more like an $89 experience. Every Airbnb we’ve stayed in has been better.

The room was not clean. The bathroom floors and tub had hairs and the carpet did not seem to look vacuumed. The noise from the hallway adjacent to our entrance door was not well insulated. The 110 volt plugs by the bed stand were not accessible because the lamp stand limited the space to plug our phone chargers - see picture

It was a terrible experience. The first rokm that I aas given had issue with bathroom drain. They offered me a different room after couple of hours of complains. Had to go down to front desk personally as they must be busy and did not pick up the phone! The replacement room they offered had very bad odour ,it became really storng when we turned ON the heater. Kids started snizzing! I had to open the window! ( it was a bit cold out side!) The room service offered me to change room again at midnight!! Which I declined as I had no enerfy to move again with kids and alk luggage! The hotel refused to do any refund and hotels.com only did $50 coupon! I had paid around 300 for the room. It was a wate of money and a terrible experience!

the room has paper-thin walls and i could hear the next room. In addition, the structure of the building seems to be not so solid. When a young child was running in the hallway, my bed was moving up and down because the floor was vibrating.

The heat and a/ c were not working. Staff did not make bed. Shower leaked and could not be shut off. Evidently this was known because damage to bathroom wall appeared to be of long duration. Breakfast supplies were not refreshed promptly and there were several items missing (e.g. coffee cream)

Breakfast was very good and the area was kept clean. Hotel was clean. Front desk staff were non existent, too many people in hotel and staff was not saying anything about their behavior! Kids running all over, dogs barking, slamming doors that jolted you from your bed! We didn't get any sleep! This went on until at least 3 AM! Called desk about 2 am nothing changed with noice levels! We will NOT stay here again and will think twice about any Holiday Inn!

When I booked, I had chosen to pay when I arrived. Between the time we reserved and when we arrived, we had to cancel our original CC and get a new one. I was expecting to just pay with our new card when we got there. However, when we arrived, I found they had earlier in the day run our card and then canceled our reservation because that card was not good. They did not call us, they did not text just, they did not email us, they just canceled. Why run the card before we even get there? They went on to say they were all booked up so they could not honor the original quote but could book us for over twice the original price. How can you be booked up but be able to offer a room at over twice the price? Sounds like a scam to force people into more costly rooms when they start filling up. During the clerk's conversation with the manager, it was clear they had done this to several other people just that day. Needless to say, we did not stay there.

Spent three nights at this location. The bed was comfortable and the location worked well, just off of Michigan Avenue and telegraph Road, but the overall experience was very average. The front desk personnel weren’t always helpful, one night my room key wouldn’t work and I had yo find management with a master key and the breakfast was decent on one occasion and subpar on the other. On the third morning, I skipped it and went out to breakfast myself. Overall, Very basic but adequate.

Had to wait 15 mins for someone at the front desk to serve me. When I went upstairs the key wouldn’t work. I told the front desk and he said our key machine is broken. I said how are we going to get in and out of this room he said, “I’m sitting by the front desk”. The mini fridge wasn’t working, I had goods that almost spoilt because of it. The bed sheets also smelt really bad too. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The entire management is terrible. They lie and threaten to call the cops on children enjoying the pool. They were upset that the kids splashed water on the floor of the pool. That's right, the floor. These people are rude and the general condition of the hotel is not good. Towel bars falling off the wall, no room cleaning or change of linens between multiple night stays. Maintenance guy randomly walked into the room unannounced and univited. Bad experience all around. Avoid this place.

Stayed two nights while visiting the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfields. Had a very enjoyable time. The bed was very comfortable and I loved choosing between a squishy or firm pillow. Bathroom was very well appointed. Fancy shower head! Nice big high def TV. Breakfast was typical, but fine. My husband said the coffee was good. Would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Easy check-in. Clean comfortable room in a convenient location. Our room faced the main road and was very loud most of the night. Cars and motorcycles revving their engines. Don't think there is anything the property could have done differently.

Nice room overall.dont plan on having breakfast as can’t have till 7,had to leave 6:30 so paid for something and had to go to McDonalds for quick sandwich.sadly won’t be back as other hotels let you have breakfast you paid for at 6.

I had to fix the toilet 2x Room service came in took some towels from the bathroom and didn’t replace them. The garbage cans were not emptied. People running in the hallway, loud, this was after 10:00 The breakfast was gone at 07:30am This was the first and last time I use a Holiday Inn express.
