Nice stay comfy beds clean rooms great showers , was a little disappointed that we paid so much per night and couldn’t even enjoy the fire pit as one family swarmed it not even really engaging or enjoying it.

Excellent place. Newer hotel. Fresh baked cookies available all day. Great breakfast. refrigerator llocated in room larger than most at other hotels. Park and river located on back side of hotel with places to sit and enjoy your family.highly recommend.

This property is fabulous!! I chose a king suite with balcony and tub and it was perfect for our trip. Everything in the room was clean. The pool was nice temperature and clean. I also liked the shower at the pool to rinse off the chlorine water. The beat part of the stay was the fantastic breakfast attendant. I regret not getting her name, but she was amazing!!! And definitely makes the experience at the hotel in the greatest way!! Already planning another trip back here!!

Hotel was VERY clean, in an excellent location and staff were exceptionally friendly both when we checked in and out. Location was quiet, offered easy access to town/sites and afforded ample parking 24/7. Above all, beds were so, so comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was an in-room fridge we really appreciated. And the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with delicious-smelling products. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for future visitors!

Room was clean and comfortable. Shower curtain needs either replaced or cleaned. It was orange at the bottom. It had snowed/iced and no attempt had been made to clear the parking lot so it was very slippery. Some of the sidewalks were partially cleared. Breakfast was actually good. We don’t usually eat hotel breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking was inadequate, TV channels were messed up and couldnt get ABC to watch a couple of the big games on Sat night. We were gone most of the day Sat and housekeeping dudnt get to our room.

Upon arrival when checking beds there where a lot of hair on sheets notified front desk and was told housekeeping has left for night I was given clean sheets to make m own bed very disappointed with this for the price I paid

The maid service did not clean the toilet and tub when they serviced the room. Toilet still soil with fecal matter and hair left in the tub(316) We only had the room serviced once at our request.

Enjoyed our stay! Our room was a nice size, perfectly clean, with plenty of storage space for our belongings, and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast bar had a good selection of hot and cold items. Delicious coffee and cookies a plus, too!

We were moved to the Holiday Inn after a snafu at another hotel and could not be more pleased. Becky was at the desk both nights (11/7 and 11/8) and was extremely welcoming and helpful. The dark-haired woman who was at breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings (11/8 and 11/9) was very kind, offering suggestions for local attractions and ensuring we had everything we needed. The room and bathroom were both very clean. The hotel was perfect walking distance to everything in Helen, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone going!

Great stay. Property was very well taken care of and very clean. Staff very friendly. Great free breakfast if you wanted to dine in. Looking forward to staying again very soon. Helen is a wonderful Bavarian town to explore and this hotel makes it so convenient to walk to everything it offers.

We enjoyed sitting by the river, an easy walk. Room was nice. At the time of our visit they were upgrading the televisions and the cable. There was no channel guide for us and the TV had no info at all, just the name of the network. No closed captioning.

The hotel was very clean staff was friendly and it was walking distance to every thing. Our room was nice and clean loved having a jacuzzi in the room. The mattress was just too hard but otherwise would come back to stay here again. The breakfast was delicious.

I booked a king sized room at this hotel. When I arrived the front desk employee female, advised she could not allow me and my wife to stay inside the kind bedroom that we booked because we had 2 infants with us who we brought play pens for. This hotel advertises baby cribs on demand etc; however, this employee switched my room to a double queen and swiped my card without giving me any information on what she was charging my card for. This was me and my wife’s anniversary trip and it was ruined by this employee as soon as we arrived to Helen, Georgia. When checking out the same employee was at the front desk and rudely retrieved the room cards from me and stated “ you can go”. If you going to have a crappy attitude try not to bring it to work. Other than my experience with this employee everything else was ok but I will not recommend or stay here again.

I booked a king suite with tub and balcony and was given a standard double. They claimed they over booked and no one contacted me and no one will give me a partial refund! I was telling the woman who checked me in how excited I was for the suite for my birthday and she never even said anything! I got up to the room and had to go all the way back down for her to tell me “oh yeah it’s over booked but we gave you a room that cost the same” I would have never stayed there and paid $400 for a standard double! The room wasn’t even clean enough or nice enough to charge that! They then tried to blame hotels.com — I just over it. Very disappointed and if it really is a problem with the booking site maybe I’ll stop using it. Very disappointed in how much money I wasted for a room that didn’t give me! Terrible! Will not stay again! It appears this isn’t getting posted because they blamed hotels.com — also not ok. No one is helping me! I’ve sent complaints to the hotel and hotels.com! Awful service all the way around

I gave this property 4 stars. It would have been 5 except for the fact that my room wasn't ready at the time check-in, 3 pm. I had to wait an 1 1/2 hours for someone to "inspect the room".

The hotel was perfect for a quick trip to Helen. The desk clerk was attentive and friendly even though she had a customer on the phone and two customers waiting to check in. She even called the room later in the evening to make sure we were happy with the room. The person stocking breakfast was amazing. They were kind and offered multiple possible activities that we could do. I would 100% stay here should we ever return to Helen,GA.

This hotel was great. We just stayed one night as we were passing by. The hotel had a great breakfast buffet with so much. They also had cookies and cofffee all day in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was beautiful and offered a lot. It’s walking distance to everything you will do in Helen Ga.

Clean hotel, room very comfy and clean. People above us making too many noises like walking and throwing stuff on the floor late at night. Nothing that hotel can do for that but, breakfast was a disappointment. Waiting for over 30 minutes to eat scrambled egg and pancake machine down for a while. Last day was the juice machine that was down. Other than that very good and clean hotel and friendly staff.

Clean and comfortable. Super close to tubing and festhall. Firm comfortable bed. Breakfast service area was poorly designed and the layout and flow causes lots of crowding at peak breakfast hours.
