The outdoor part of the property is nice, and the location is alright (one bus away from downtown, about 10 minutes). Plenty of parking at the property. The interior of the lodge is a bit run down. Our room in particular was dusty, had a musty smell, and was not particularly clean. The showerhead didn't work properly. There was some mildew on the shower tiles, and cobwebs in the corners of the room, around the windows, around the sliding door, etc. the bed was not super comfortable either. The breakfast was decent though quite greasy. Options for breakfast were good. Check-in and check-out experience was quick and staff were kind. I'm not sure if the other rooms were better than ours but if you get room 11 you are out of luck until they update it.

Place was very difficult to find. Apple Maps and Google Maps had a hard time pin pointing it. There were a couple signs on the frontage road that we didn’t see until the 2nd or 3rd pass. Place was a little dirty (stains on the carpet). Breakfast was good.

It's a lovely old country house in the city. It is now on a busy highway, but once you find the entrance, its grounds and gardens are delightful, and we heard no traffic noise once in the building. It's a little hard to find - its name sign isn't too clear, but I pulled into a nearby service station and phoned from there to get directions. We were disappointed that there was no evening meal, but a large hotel is in walking distance. Our rooms were lovely, and breakfast was the best that we had on this trip.
