Amaroo Hotel Dubbo

Dubbo accommodation is getting expensive, Amaroo is reasonably priced.

I should have read the reviews before I booked! Without a doubt the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in.It was so filthy, Bathroom Toliet bowl was missing two large pieces of ceramic....at least 15 cm. The seat had cigarette burns and the plastic was peeling in 10cm pieces. The tap next to the toliet was covered in dust. The shower screen was missing and a thin side panel was secured with only one screw. The base was rusty and the drain was full of hair. The exhaust fan was full of dust which was hanging down. The mirror was rusty, cracked and dirty. The door panel was kicked in. The seal on the fridge was black with mould. The carpet was badly stained, wet and smelt. The bed had clean sheets but gosh the mattress was badly stained. The room was frezzing yet the bed had a thin blanket. The heating worked occasionally. Do yourself a favour and run away from this place!

Central location, quick stopover

+ points: excellent location, free parking, elevator, good affordable food down in the bistro, friendly client service, large beds. - points: run down rooms and bathrooms, old dirty looking carpets, leaking shower heads, doors of the rooms are flimsy and dont evoke any safety.
