They absolutely NO late check out, so 11 am they knock on the door. It's really really expensive for what you get. Weekends are hectic since it's a casino ( the normal headaches of gamblers, alcohol and noise. Plus friday an sat the parking is a night mare. No laundry options. No breakfast like they advertise. You can go to casino part and buy a breakfast though. Staff is friendly. Bed was ok Plenty of extremely hot water

I was very disappointed that no coffee was available anywhere in the morning, i drank the coffee in my room the night before, therefore expected coffee available in the lobby in the morning, since the only restaurant that serves coffee doesn't open until 7am. I was also disappointed that the spa was not open during the week as i took my mother and was going to surprise her with a facial treatment, why can't someone be on-call? Seems like only the people that book on weekends get the better experience. Restaurant hours are very inconvenient. On a positive note the staff at the bar was very friendly, and the room was very clean! I will come back, as i do like this venue,

Room was in the “Lodge” and smelled horrible upon arrival. After turning on a/c, smell dissipated. Went to pool with my children (13 & 6). Pool and hot tub were dirty, foamy and cloudy. Chemistry was definitely off. Went back to room to wash off the pool water, no hot water. My daughter ended up taking a lukewarm bath since she has the most sensitive skin. I ended up with a rash on my legs and stomach. Went down to Big Al’s to getvthe kids a pizza. It was after 11pm, so this was the only place open anywhere nearby. That definitely showed. The queue was all the way down the hallway. It took over an hour to get a $20 mediocre pizza. The only positive I can give for this place is the bed was not uncomfortable. For the cost of this room, I would have preferred to stay at the Holiday Inn Express down the street.

The heat inside the casino was hot! Our particular room wasn’t cleaned very well. Chips under the end table and the blanket was put on with the tag at the top in my face. Other than that we enjoyed our 2 nights

The bathroom in my room was filthy, they had to move me to another room and the bathroom was filthy as well. Housekeeper came in and cleaned but they just do not clean well. toilet had not been cleaned for months, and instead of using a disinfecting cleaner they used vinegar. would not recommend

The room for over $240 for one night was disgusting. Crumbs all in the mattress, hair on the sink and shower wall, yellow stains around the faucet and on the ceiling in the bathroom. Staff was accommodating to give us a new room but I would still never stay here again.

It was extremely loud with the guest traffic (being extremely loud late at night and early morning) and the constant elevator bells. Bathroom was disgusting, especially the toilet and shower. Room was good, not great. Glaring lights outside made a sound sleep difficult. Room faced the highway and at 1:00 AM a line of trucks (semi-trailer transport type) lasting about 40 minutes went by making a lot of noise. So, okay not great.

ROOM - No electronic capabilities. At the least a power strip with USB would have been nice. Very small TV. There was no ice on my floor and when I went downstairs to get ice, there was black slime floating in water in tray on bottom of ice machine. No microwave anywhere, not even in hall or vending area. Ran out of facial tissue 1st day. Set dirty towels outside door after 1st day and they didn't restock them. Had to call for more towels and they did bring them. CASINO - Nothing that would make me want to go there again.

Room furniture needs updated, nicks and scratches everywhere it looked dated and tired. Air conditioner was very loud probably with a bad bearing and in need of replacement. Bathroom could use more light and detailed cleaning.

Check in was horrible they told me if I didn’t like it leave. They were trying to overcharge me and I just wanted an explanation of the charges. They did not want to give me an explanation but eventually they did. Sat the keys on the counter and said nothing no direction on how to get to my room nothing. Room did not smell good.

Had to return to the desk 3 times for check in, after being told at 2:30 the room would be ready at 3 instead of 4. At 3:55 room still not available (after waiting in line for quite some time) and actually told to get back in line because a phone call could not be made until 4:00.

Very clean, friendly staff. Rooms large in hotel (cant speak as to lodge). Drinks at bars reasonably priced as compared to other casinos in PA ans MD. Downside only 1 dining option on a monday night after 7. Surrounding area does not have any restaurants etc. Will definitrly go back.

This was our first time staying at Mountaineer Casino. It was a nice experience. Had the wood fired pizza at Gatsby’s. Very good. The casino was very clean and did not have that smoky/stale beer smell. Good mix of older and newer machines. Had a little luck there as well. The restrooms actually had a pleasant smell, which is rare! The rooms are due for an update but couldn’t your own house use one too? Staff was nice as well. Will return !!

There were no food options...no food. Our room had cobwebs on the side of the air conditioner unit. The mattress needs replaced, and that's coming from our backs being stiff and sore. Worst 2 days I've ever spent! Will not go back!

We arrived at 7:00 it stated online that the restaurant bar was open until 10:00. Cleaned up and headed down to have dinner only to find that it was closed. Everything is closed. It is only 8:00 at night. No place to eat but pizza and subs. We were there for our anniversary and was hoping to have a nice relaxing dinner and a few drinks. Don't post a sign on the door that says open until 10:00 and then close at 8:00. Very disappointing

Nice choice of restaurants. Didn’t appear there were any restaurants open early 6am, desk said Al’s was open at 4am but online it said they close at 4 and reopen at 7. That was dissappointing.
