The whole atmosphere of the property was simply authentic and welcoming. Karen and her husband were friendliy and helpful. They shared stories and they take pride in their business. The breakfast was delicious. If you enjoy antiques and sitting on a porch, this is a most wonderful stay!

Gary and Karin were very welcoming. The room was clean, and the Bed & Breakfast was beautiful. Overall, it was very peaceful and quiet! We got to relax in the little gazebo and watch the fireflies at sunset. The resident feline, which I only ever saw outside, was also very friendly.

Wonderful breakfast in a spacious dining hall. The building is a great example of Victorian architecture, and it is decorated with an abundance of antiques large and small. The hosts were very welcoming. The location is in the country, but very close to Bowling Green and Mammoth Caves. There is a trailhead for the rail trail to Mammoth next to the property. I'll stay here next time I pass this way.

This was a wonderful historic hotel very close to Mammoth Cave Visitor Center. We arrived late and the fireplace in the lobby was on and very welcoming. Communication was excellent and we were instructed how to get in and access our room. The place was clean and comfy. Breakfast was great with waffles eggs and fruit and bacon. Nice and quiet. Hostess very pleasant

This a beautiful property is located next to train tracks. Trains vary from a few to many a day. Did not detract for us, but be aware they come in the middle of the night. Gary and Karin were kind owners, nice breakfast and they allowed us to heat up leftovers in the kitchen micro. They had a common fridge to use. Due to large space and many items of decor, dust was apparent. It was NOT a dirty feel at all and the beds sheets were clean and room comfortable. Restaurants were a short drive and we spent our days at Mammoth Cave so conveniently located!! Would stay there again. Go pet the kangaroos at Kentucky Down Under Zoo!!

We loved the historic nature of the property--beautifully preserved but with all the modern conveniences. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of places outside to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The only downside was that a few times (one at 4 a.m.) a train went by very close to the inn and blew its whistle.

What a gem! The property was well restored and our hosts were lovely. Breakfast was simple but elegant. There was a cute park next door and it was walkable to the local restaurant. Something that stood out to us was their towels and linens smelled really lovely. Would def recommend!

A unique experience living in an over one hundred year old hotel. The innkeeper, Diana was very nice and friendly. The history of the hotel was amazing. The room is clean and comfortable. It is convenient to get to Mammoth Cave National park, only 15 min. away. Be prepared for trains passing by occasionally.

This is such a beautiful old building filled with some of the neatest americana I've ever seen. Our room had some minor issues, and when I reached out to the Diana, whose in charge of housekeeping, she immediately remedied the situation. The breakfast was very tasty and getting to talk to the owner was great. All in all it was a really nice stay at a beautiful place with great people working there. The southern hospitality was off the charts. I would highly recommend to any friends and family going to the Corvette Museum or Mammoth cave!

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Victorian. The hotel is a living history museum of decades past. On arrival we were a little overwhelmed by the number antiques and nick-naks but quickly acclimated. The hotel and room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The nearby railroad crossing was noticeable but not too loud on the backside of the hotel. 1 or 2 trains each night. The staff and proprietors were very hospitable and helpful. Very convenient location to Mammoth Cave NP.

It was an amazing place to stay for our visit to Mammoth Cave NP, close to the entrance and the room was very clean and comfortable. The owners were so gracious and hosted an amazing breakfast the day we left. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Mammoth Cave!

Beautiful inn appointed with loads of wonderful furnishings and decor. Our hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Our room was lovely, clean, and quiet. We stayed two days and breakfast the first morning consisted of orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, or other drinks, bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes. The next morning, all of the above, but substituting Belgian waffles for pancakes. All delicious.

The whole experience was wonderful. Be prepared for the train coming through in the middle of the night. Wish we had our own A/C unit for the room too. Staff were wonderful.

We absolutely loved our stay! The breakfast was a highlight — the chef was so charismatic and even treated us to a little magic show while cooking (talk about entertainment included with your eggs! 😂). The server was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was quaint and cozy, perfectly decorated to match the era of the house. It honestly felt like stepping back in time, where everything slowed down and you could just breathe and enjoy the moment. Such a peaceful and memorable stay we can’t wait to come back! If you are reading this a love thrifting on a budget stay away from anything with “antique” in the name! There are tons of amazing thrift shops a little further down the road!

The Grand Victorian Inn is a wonderful place! Feels like you step back in time when you walk in! Our room was spacious, well kept, and adorably decorated! The hosts were very sweet. Will definitely keep this place in mind for another stay!

The room was very comfortable (actually like sleeping in my own bed) and the house was decorated nicely for Fall. We visited the Mammoth Cave State park and hiked and had a very nice dinner there as well.

Dianna made our stay extremely memorable. She ensured that we were comfortable, and she provided amazing service when she made me a large bottle of unsweetened ice tea for breakfast. In my many years of travel, I’ve never experienced service like this. The inn is lucky to have Dianna. Thank you!

Owners Karin & Gary were warm and friendly. Karin is a wealth of information about the history of the house and the area. The room was quaint and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Others have complained about the train, but it passed only a couple of times during the day and not at all at night, and its passing was very quick. We found it part of the charm!

A unique experience living in an over one hundred year old hotel. The innkeeper, Diana was very nice and friendly. The history of the hotel was amazing. The room is clean and comfortable. It is convenient to get to Mammoth Cave National park, only 15 min. away. Be prepared for trains passing by occasionally.

This was a wonderful historic hotel very close to Mammoth Cave Visitor Center. We arrived late and the fireplace in the lobby was on and very welcoming. Communication was excellent and we were instructed how to get in and access our room. The place was clean and comfy. Breakfast was great with waffles eggs and fruit and bacon. Nice and quiet. It's decorated with antiques that correspond to the historic nature of the building, which probably was an old hotel during passenger-train days. This a beautiful property is located next to train tracks. Trains vary from a few to many a day. Did not detract for us, but be aware they come in the middle of the night. Gary and Karin were kind owners, nice breakfast and they allowed us to heat up leftovers in the kitchen micro. They had a common fridge to use. Due to large space and many items of decor, dust was apparent. It was NOT a dirty feel at all and the beds sheets were clean and room comfortable. Restaurants were a short drive and we spent our days at Mammoth Cave so conveniently located!! Would stay there again. Go pet the kangaroos at Kentucky Down Under Zoo!!

Quaint BnB with tons of charm. It was easy checking in and out and the bed was comfortable. Only a few minutes to Mammoth Cave Park or to Glasgow. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Victorian. The hotel is a living history museum of decades past. On arrival we were a little overwhelmed by the number antiques and nick-naks but quickly acclimated. The hotel and room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The nearby railroad crossing was noticeable but not too loud on the backside of the hotel. 1 or 2 trains each night. The staff and proprietors were very hospitable and helpful. Very convenient location to Mammoth Cave NP.

This is such a beautiful old building filled with some of the neatest americana I've ever seen. Our room had some minor issues, and when I reached out to the Diana, whose in charge of housekeeping, she immediately remedied the situation. The breakfast was very tasty and getting to talk to the owner was great. All in all it was a really nice stay at a beautiful place with great people working there. The southern hospitality was off the charts. I would highly recommend to any friends and family going to the Corvette Museum or Mammoth cave!

What a gem! The property was well restored and our hosts were lovely. Breakfast was simple but elegant. There was a cute park next door and it was walkable to the local restaurant. Something that stood out to us was their towels and linens smelled really lovely. Would def recommend!

Beautiful inn appointed with loads of wonderful furnishings and decor. Our hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Our room was lovely, clean, and quiet. We stayed two days and breakfast the first morning consisted of orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, or other drinks, bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes. The next morning, all of the above, but substituting Belgian waffles for pancakes. All delicious.

Our stay at the Grand Victorian Inn was great! The rooms were clean and the complimentary breakfast was awesome! The property has some really unique decor and is very nice. The only downside was that the fridge is a shared fridge among the rooms, but it was pretty empty when we stayed there so it was fine. We'd definitely stay there again!
