Loved our stay at Inn at Discovery Coast! The room and property had a rustic elegance, with all of the amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. The site fails to mention all of the wonderful extras they offer! Free EV charging, saunas and heated saltwater pool, free bike rentals. The room had a great ocean view. Listening to the ocean in front of a fireplace made for a perfect winter stay at the beach!

The room is small but lovely. It has everything and was very clean. Nice view from the balcony and we watched the horses come by in the morning. The jetted tub was great! The pool was very warm and relaxing. It was a great experience for the 2 of us!

Love this hotel. Love the location and view. You are ON the beach. The hotel has a great pool and saunas as well. Food was delicious and staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

We always love staying here! The amenities are great and the distance to the beach and trail is perfect. This time we got a room in the pool house and the room itself was amazing. Our neighbors were extremely loud the entire time which wasn’t ideal. Also the pool has adult hours for a reason and people do not abide by those. We opted to come here for a relaxing get away without our kids and there was very minimal time to actually enjoy the pool with no kids in it. They clearly don’t enforce it enough. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and everything the Inn had to offer.

Room was nice and proximity to beach and boardwalk was great. Staying in a Pool House room, which was clean and loved the French press coffee. Walls were thin and could hear neighbors, also screaming children in the pool. When we used the heated pool, there were no clean towels and the temp of the water was lukewarm. Jetted tub in our room didn't work. Probably would stay elsewhere next time we visit Long Beach.

Stylish rooms with a super comfortable bed! Steam rooms and pool were a nice addition. Great views of the ocean! Close to town and delicious restaurants within 3-5 miles of resort.

Great place to head for a long weekend getaway from the city. The dunes are gorgeous, the beach accessible, great hiking on the Discovery Trail or on the trails in Cape Disappoinment. The vibe was friendly and relaxed. There's horseback riding on the beach offered about 100 yards away, a delicious distillery to sit outside and do tastings (and you can buy their offerings onsite), a ping-pong table (that we loved!), and a solid restaurant with live music some nights. Our only issue: we were excited to use the barrel saunas each day but the saunas don't hold their heat (even when we put lots of water on the rocks again and again). The only way to get any kind of sweat going was to stand up (heat rises) which was annoying to do so we didn't go again. Aside from that, all was good.

Nice little gem on the Long Beach Peninsula. Room wasn’t as comfortable and nice as I’d imagined from the pictures, but decent. Very nice staff, saunas, and salt water pool. Restaurant is good as well. Note there is no elevator, so be sure to book first floor room if you’re unable to ascend stairs. Will return!

Room was ok little smaller than pictures show. I loved having the extra guests(ants) run around the bed and cabinet tops...But the best thing was the extra charge that was put on our card because we used 3rd party to book the room, they decided to add that extra fee we saved by using Expedia on our credit card directly...so really there was saving and when we checked in there was mention of such fee. Sure it was a small fee but nothing was mentioned or said at anytime about this fee. What if we didnt use the ammenities we were charged for...were still charged for them but never told we had the option to deny or refuse such charge. So we will not be staying here ever again or any of their other owned hotels in the area. I get it, but why secretly charge you, be upfront...let the charge be an option if we use the amenities only...

Quiet and romantic, small intimate property. Exactly what I was looking for. As close to the sandy beach and ocean as you can get in Washington state. Less than a mile from the cute 3 block downtown strip that has cute shops and tons of food options. Wish we had more time as we wanted to check out the pool and barrel saunas. Soaking tub in room had mold in the jets and on a few items in the tub.

I have stayed this property multiple times over the years and have always been really happy with it. This time was a bit different. The room was pretty dirty and I was actually pretty surprised. There was hair in the shower, drips of stuff on the fridge, debris on the desk and the floor was nasty. We had to wipe it up with a towel at one point and the towel was black. Normally the little things wouldn’t bother me very much but these rooms are pricey. Even in off season it’s usually double what you would pay anywhere else. I’m sad because this has been our go to hotel at the beach for years, but I think this is gonna be our last time. I think they just kinda let it go. It’s too bad

Everything at the Inn at Discovery Coast was excellent. We loved the pool and sauna and the deck off of our room. The only thing that was a problem and it was pretty big one, the room directly above us was loud until 2am. You can hear everything. The floors are wood planked and all we heard was stomping around, dragging chairs across the floor, slamming of doors, dropping stuff on the floor. I was amazed at how much one can move around and make that much noise for that long. I actually started to wonder if it was some kind of joke, it was so unbelievable. If you are looking for peaceful, this is a great place if the rooms were not built out of plank floors. It sure gives a pretty look to the place but not noise efficient.

The property is clean, staff is friendly and the food was tasty. Great location for walking the beach. We used the bathtub and it was the perfect size. My only complaint is that the bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping in side by side hammocks with a hump in the middle of the bed. It did our backs no favors and I’m really glad we only stayed one night.

I loved staying in the loft of the beach house. It was so cozy, well apportioned and had a stunning view of the sunset and ocean from the living room. The soaking tub was divine. I love that it's eco friendly. No plastic containers. The walk to the beach was an adventure through the beach grass (cuz why go down the road when you can wind down narrow sandy paths?!) It's going to be my "go to" place. All the staff were very friendly and personable. They made check-in very easy. I can't think of a single thing that I didn't just absolutely love about the loft.... OK maybe the interesting door dance to the bathroom, but it was a fun game. It's worth the trip!

This is a fantastic place. Beautiful, designer room. The view is incredible. The jacuzzi tub was great. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. The linens and towels top notch. I would go back again!

We had an incredible time! The staff was so helpful and friendly! We stayed in a beach suite w/jetted tub and fireplace. The studs and restaurant onsite are top notch! Clay gives the best massages! The room was delightful, but it was impossible to get the room dark. There is a large window at the top of a wall that let's light in all night (porch light). It would also be nice to have an actual coffee pot rather than two coffee bags for a five day stay. Aside from this, we intend to stay again, but look for a room without the large upper window.

Last year we stayed in room 4 which had an ocean view, spa tub that fit two, comfortable bed, etc. I tried to book that specific room but they said they can't do that. I didn't realize the studio I did book was in a house-like building without a beach view. Our window overlooked the parking lot. The bed was oddly low to the ground, and worn out and uncomfortable. The spa tub was triangle shaped and difficult for a couple to enjoy. The remote or chromecast device barely worked, taking ten seconds for any button push to register. The floors and walls are incredibly thin so we could here the service staff shuffling around in a storage room opposite the bathroom and whoever stayed upstairs make a ton of movement noise starting around 6am and kept us awake. I paid $515 including tax for this room and we absolutely regret it. I didn't even pay that much the year prior for a much better room. Sadly the Pickled Fish restaurant nearby had also decreased in quality - their excellent fondue dish is no longer served and the food was average. I've had worse rooms but it was not worth the price.

At 3 am the front screen fell off the fireplace and literally crashed to the floor! We woke up terrified, and then were concerned about gas leaking. Once we finally realized it was just the frame, we tried to go back to sleep. Very unsettling. These things happen, we realize. But was extremely disappointed that when we told the staff about it next morning, they did not offer any apology, or even seem concerned. Just said, "we'll tell maintenance." I explained how it had totally disrupter our sleep, and she repeated "I'll tell maintenance." Still no apology or offer of any compensation. Then we told, we had an added "resort fee" of $15 to our card!!! Also, we were not informed about the breakfast, so missed that. It was disappointing as the place was lovely, and we had really been looking forward to a relaxing night - it was our 50th wedding anniversary! The room was great, comfortable, nice, welcoming. Great view of the ocean. So my review is mixed. I think if the staff would have shown just a small amount of concern or interest, I could have accepted the incident as just a part of life. It was the lack of concern that left us feeling disappointed.

It was a good stay but there was a bait and switch. I was told that I rented an ocean view which didn't happen. When I arrived they said it was a mountain view instead but it didn't have that either. It would have been good if I had received the ocean view that I paid for. Guessing they gave my room to someone else instead of what I paid for

The front desk lady was a joyful interaction. She answered all of my off-the-wall questions. The sweet we stayed in was magnificent. Well be doing this all again thank you!

The suite was gorgeous, loved the barn door and wood floors. It was so cozy. Loved the heated pool and sauna. It was a short walk to the trail, beach and boardwalk, however it was a few blocks away from the downtown area. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. Easy beach access. Away from the touristy stuff. Soft comfy bed. Room nicely decorated, but there were a few minor things I wasn’t thrilled with. The bathroom has 2 barn doors, so it’s not very private. If you don’t care about that, no big deal, but I prefer a door that closes on hotel bathrooms if I’m sharing the room with someone. There is also a sliding barn door window to allow for a view from the bathroom. Nice if alone, but not if wanting privacy. There wasn't any shelf in the shower to put toiletries. Odd. Had to put them on the floor. It's a tiny shower too. The building wasn’t very sound proof in general. We heard the people above us and people climbing the stairs. The shower/bath water was lukewarm at night and in the morning. Maybe we were just unlucky. The room was clean, but the windows were black. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed Saturday morning, which we didn’t expect, so we had to change our plans last minute. The staff was nice, but could have been more informative about the restaurant being closed, and that they sold pastries in the main office as an alternative. I understand staffing is challenging these days though. The bikes were free to borrow and we had a nice ride on Discovery Trail, which was great. All in all I may stay there again if I'm ever back in Long Beach. It was a peaceful place. Modern with a retro vibe.

Stay in the pool house. The rooms are cute, shabby chic, jet tub, just all around nice. The restaurant at this hotel is really good. I mean really good. Normally, hotel restaurants in tourist towns are rarely better than a Denny’s. Not so here. And while my steak was overcooked, everything else was amazing. You must try the Brussels sprouts. Just do it. Also, the craft cocktails are preternaturally delicious. The Vieux Carre was the best. But, she makes a mean Sazerac. Between the two of us over the course of four days, we tried 6 of their specialty cocktails. All were amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Just an incredible room! Right in the beach, super quiet, very awesome. I love that you can get room service from an incredible restaurant, too! Cant wait to stay here again. We already told out parents about it, and they booked it immediately.

We stayed in the Beach House unit 12, large studio ground floor with fireplace, big outdoor deck and jetted tub. Pickle Fish restaurant and bar was excellent for dinner and drinks. Outdoor covered salt water pool. Adrift Distillery tasting was fun. The staff were super helpful. Resort is right on the Discovery Trail. Highly recommend
