First the good things. They've done a wonderful job and restoring several old buildings in downtown Lexington. They gave me an upgrade when requested so I didn't have to climb the stairs to the third floor. Their shuttle transportation service was excellent. The breakfast was fine. They brought me a mini fridge to keep my medicine cold overnight as there wasn't one in the room. My main complaint was that our room and the entire building was freezing. I struggled for some time with the thermostat and finally someone came up to fix it. The bed had a thick down quilt on it. Apparently their expectations are that people want to sleep in freezing temperatures with heavy blankets. Maybe many do. Also, in case anyone else comes to Lexington expecting to use Uber or Lyft, they don't exist. Call ahead and use the George's excellent shuttle service.

5-star property, facilities and service. What a great surprise - rooms and bathrooms were large and outstanding. Heated floors in bathrooms, fireplaces and multiple flat screens. Taps was a great restaurant and we appreciated the breakfast was included in the price. Parking and location were outstanding. Beautiful and historic property, wonderful people top to bottom!

This is a lovely historic place to stay. As such, there are some deficits, such as no elevators. However, there is a choice of restaurants in a wide price and style range, within a block or two. There are multiple shops. The entire downtown is kept in beautiful historic condition. It was definitely a place I will stay again.

The room and bed were excellent, comfortable clean bathroom great, temperature controls worked! One thing make sure when you book to check on floor as no elevator, the staff offered to carry luggage if needed. The bar and restaurant cozy and very nice, food great.

What a lovely gem of a hotel - loved our stay here, even for just the one night. We had a room at the very top of the Marshall building. A lot of stairs to get to it, and the only regret was packing a heavy suitcase. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was gorgeous and well appointed. One day I will be back for another stay.

10 out of 10 on property as it was amazing, room outstanding and cleanliness superb! Service 8 out of 10. Food 9 out of 10 Service 8 only because the breakfast to go pickup seemed unorganized and delayed even though I was the only patron picking up at the time and when I checked out it was a very generic grab of the key without kindness or how I was greeted upon arrival. I never expressed any complaint about the service. Property great and would be hard to beat at any 5 star resort!

Everything was excellent, except for the following: the carpet was torn and very shabby, the rooms are a little cramped, and the furniture was a little bit old and worn. Having said that, I would definitely stay there again because it was overall an excellent. experience.

Great property with friendly staff. Bedroom was nice bu very small. Everything was clean and well appointed. Bathroom didnt appear to have a vent fan, so it quickly became very humid once the shower was turned on and we pretty.much had to leace the bathroom door open most of the time.

We had a delightful stay! 3 suggestions: Because of the downtown location, early morning street noise is inevitable. Suggest making earplugs available. The digital clock radio in our room was not set property and wasn't easy to rest. The TV Remote would not change channels from the bed.

This is such a charming hotel. Breakfast being included is delightful. Our room was so lovely. Only negative is that our tv never worked. Someone came up to help us with it, it worked for a minute and then stopped.

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of personal touches. It has the charm of the old with the convenience of the new. Our room is bright and cheery with three windows. We also have a lovely porch. This is a gem!

We enjoyed a relaxing stay! From check-in to check-out and everything in between was wonderful. The made-to-order complimentary breakfast in Taps restaurant was delicious. The room was spacious, nicely appointed, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had heated floors amd towel rack, and a nice walk-in shower with good water pressure. We will definitely make a return visit!

Wonderful stay at the George’s! Lovely room and excellent service (they walked us to our building which a beautifully restored livery/linen cleaning businesses from over 100 years ago.) Breakfast (gratis) was delicious and staff attentive to our needs. We were in town for an office holiday party and the parade was on Main Street. Received advance notice and direction from the Georges without prompting.

Beautiful upscale hotel located in historic buildings. The renovations are first class with great attention to luxury and provision for all needs. Everything about this property is of the highest quality including the staff. Each room is different and beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings, linens, towels and products. We had drinks and dinner in the casual restaurant, and made to order breakfast - all were excellent and service was attentive without being intrusive. We HIGHLY recommend The Georges - well worth their usual rates and a real treat if you can get a special rate. We will be back!

Super cute inn in the heart of downtown Lexington. Very well decorated and quaint with a great bar and restaurant attached plus a restaurant across the street. Good food and great craft cocktails with attention to detail. Outdoor dining space with heaters as well. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
