It was clean and quiet, not much in the way for toiletries, they don't serve breakfast during the week days only the weekends just so people have a heads up on that, but there is plenty of shopping and restaurants around them, they have a new dining area at the hotel so you can cook your own food if you get a suite without a kitchenette. Staff were overall super nice and house keeping did a nice job making our bed when we weren't around😊

Stay there every time in town for work. Staff are friendly/they are helpful. Place is clean/rooms are simple but only there to sleep so don’t need to much. Same washing machine/dryers broken for last 2 yrs :(

Property very Close to My Wifes Cousin, the Highway Nearby, Tim Hortons, No Frills Grow which is not Available in Fort McMurray, Gasoline prices 17cents a litre Cheaper than Nearby Edmonton, Lots of Restaurants!!! Her Church is A Favourite to Visit, Yes, Perfect Matching Price With SOOO Many Things Unavailable in For McMurray! The Little Kitchen was a BLESSING to a a very Picky Wife 4LIFE! Also was able to see well over 10 longtime Friends for the 1st Time in 5 Years due to the Highway Systems and the Fact that it's on a easy Return Route to Fort McMurray Allowing even more Visiting of Family/Friends! Extremely Grateful for the Star Inn and Suites that Turned a Nightmare Saturday Morning Snow Storm Drive South into a BLESSING of a Birthday Gift Surprise to my List Wife 4LIFE!!!

The staff here were super friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, there is no on-site gym and the laundry room/area (washers/dryers) could use some serious TLC. When it rained and became damp and chilly, I was told that the heat could not be turned on due to the boilers only coming on during seasonal times, however they did offer me more blankets and a small heater. There was a very large gap under my door, where I could see the outside very well, which made me think of all the spiders and other insects that had a personal doorway into the room. I will end up by saying housekeeping was absolutely fantastic! The beds were clean, the towels fresh!

I was at the motel part. There’s no way that someone doesn’t know that the room i was in was missing a lot of grout in the floor, tiles were loose and broken. Floor was dirty. I don’t know when it was painted but there was still painters tape on a lot of things, not that whoever painted used it on every wall because it had the landlord special. The bed was comfy but the sheets were stained. I felt if I asked for a new room there’s no way it could have been better if what I was was thought to be acceptable . Breakfast was hardly there every day at the hotel. The lady at check in was friendly though. Not the worst place I’ve stayed but for sure it’s up there. It’s the got 20 ft away 20km/hr look.

Stay was okay but hotel was not the cleanest, floors were dirty when I got there and cups were not clean as well. I stayed for 3 nights and not once was my room cleaned. I had to go get new towels from front desk.

Nice spacious room we had. Bathroom was off behind a wall. Not much room for the toilet seat. Door kinda closes close to the door. Also the ac was blowing directly to our heads. Which was kinda good. But bad for the breathing air. Was stuffy when we go up. Other than that. Cash or debit card will work. No need to book with a credit card. Nice price we received. $67 a night. Staff was nice.

Staff is extremely unprofessional have no customer service skills. Been waiting weeks for a manager to return my call regarding a refund for nights I did not stay. Staff member charged me for additional nights instead of being refunded. Then was told the refund was processed to a debt card not the credit card used for the stay. Still waiting for refund and email from a manager here but yet to receive anything. Will contact the better business bureau and consumer affairs regarding these charges. Seems like this hotel will just tell you anything to get you off the phone and off the property and never do what they say. Please be aware of this property and how they conduct business. Will never stay here again.

I booked a room & let the motel know I had a pet. When I arrived, the young man told me ‘I won’t charge u for your pet, as I would have to reset the booking, etcetc. He laughed & said ‘no big deal’. I was thankful & had a quiet evening. Today, not only am I confronted at the front desk for having a pet—but the onus was left on ME to explain about the situation from the young man. ATTITUDE!! ‘I have to talk to my manager’. Like it’s MY fault this happened. Deal with your own staff!! Don’t put the attitude & blame my way!! Also—when the young man found out I am a VETERAN, he asked me ‘have you ever killed anyone?’ WTH!! Not staying again.

The owner of the property is a complete idiot!!! Very rude has an attitude like he is royalty. I paid for the room and wasn’t able to cover the damage deposit at 3 o’clock in the morning was in an accident that night I need a place to stay. I need up staying on the street without any money because the last $80 I had is not tied up with Expedia. The worst experience I’ve ever had the hotel for the four hours I was gonna stay there is an absolute disappointment I do not recommend.

It’s a motel- cheap - simple . Pay for what you get. We stay there just to sleep, we have a team for out of town in for few weeks to work. It’s convenient to a Tim’s/grocery store/few restaurants. Easy in/out onto highway.

The coffee pot leaked a bit, and there's a gap between the toilet seat and the bowl and my little guy peed through it while pooping hahaah but staff was good , especially Alicia , quiet, clean , would go there again, didn't have a chance to hit the buffet but heard it is amazing, will definitely go back!

For the cheapest property on the list it was excellent value. Meal that was included was good and included some actual cooked food. I was commuting to Spruce Grove during the day, which was an easy 20 minute highway drive all the way. Again, for the price can't beat this place. Only issue is that it does not have air conditioning, so sleeping temperature was not ideal during these summer days. I'm sure the shoulder seasons and winter would be perfectly comfortable temperature wise.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, pet friendly facility with a friendly staff. The doggy bag of treats and waste bags was unexpected but appreciated. Kudos to the staff, who despite having to deal with a hostile, belligerent, abusive guest couple, kept their cool and did their best to provide service to the others guests; not an easy feat under the circumstances. Breakfast was great and included hot foods such as scrambled eggs, sausages, chunky roast potatoes as well as the usual toast, cereal, etc.
